I watch a few channels about gold prospecting etc. I see them getting smallish amounts of gold and tiny nuggets in Canada etc. And then I've seen one or two aussie channels where they just walk around in the outback with a metal detector and find big old nuggets that make the Canadian and US gold nuggets look pathetic lol.
I think the basalt quarry would be the one in Tideswell Dale - about the only significant outcrop of volcanic rock in Derbyshire. There is a nice lava flow in Cave Dale too. Wasn't aware of the one in Matlock so thanks for that!
Yeh, but the pay dirt they supply with pans are seeded with Fools gold . I got special permission to pan some of clay from the mine with the real stuff in . 👍
Good video. Beautiful area shame about the tiny gold 🥇 but it's still the shiny stuff glad leciester had way more gold than Derby just shows it's a better place 😂
Hey fella! Best video yet ! Keep em coming 👍
Thanks, will do! 👍
I'm learning so much from your videos.
Great video. I loved that ❤

Always thought about that area with that raging river. Nice 1
A pity the tour guide sounds like he's reading from a sheet of paper :)

New Zealand is the same! Ounce plus chunks in their rivers everywhere lol

I had a few specs in Buxton recently and some just off the snakes pass road 😎 👀
Yeh I watched another youtuber find specks in that area around kinder scout . I believe, so there's definitely a few specks to be had around there👍
Good stuff. Thanks! :o)
Glad you liked it!
Nice one pal, cheers for that, well good, liked and subbed :)
Cheers mate ! Are you the one that hacked USA government 👍
@@onemanandhispan Yes unfortunately that was me, but we won the fight against my extradition back in 2012 so all good now.
What about coming up to Dunfries and Galloway? The several sites which have gold. around Newton Stuart and Leadhills
I have been to leadhills a few times . I was up there there a few months ago competing in the Scottish gold panning championship 👍
There’s gold in Derbyshire 😮 i live near there
Certainly, theres a few specks to be had 👍
We going edale at the end of the month I’m taking my pans
Do they supply the pan to test ?

What are you going to buy with your speck of Derbyshire gold? You could buy a house for a microorganism.
That dude talking about volcanic processes and gold could make beautiful women sound boring 😅
Sounded exactly like an automatic phone answer message voice 😂
They say gold rides an Iron horse, take the bloddy sample, lie to us where it is from, your in a cuntry that puts its very own people last.
Why don't you use a metal detector?
They won’t find dust 😅
@@IamBATMAN2024 aha I don't know how small size they can detect. No micron size metal detector then! Still, maybe he'd come across a nugget!

Thanks, mate, and yeh, the specks are a little bit bigger in Leicestershire 😂😂
