Every new video encourages more people to try panning there. Thirty years ago there was a fair amount of gold to be had every time. Not any more. Most of the winter flood gold is gone by February. Lol
Good effort my man your the first person I've seen panning in England. It's on my bucket list I've followed it all my life. Watching you gives me hope.outstanding effort that was hard work you deserve more. I'll be following you now I know your on it. Please keep your vlogs coming I'm intrigued. Top man. Thank you for the English gold mining, panning experience. Just brilliant.
There is a wee mine up the road from you, hop in there and help yourself to some big rocks they have dug out the mountain. The shiny rocks with veins are the ones you want to keep! Do not worry about the guy with the S.African accent, he is just pretending to be a miner.
Aye, totally agree with you, however, it is the best scenery and fresh air going. Worth more than any shiny yellow metal. Say hello to Ozzy next time you see him.
Cool, but ouch. Feeling fortunate to live in nevada usa after watching this. I could probably pan my truck floor mat and find that much just from what gets trapped on my shoes. Nice vid. Got a couple haters in here....gotta laugh.
Thanks, mate, and yeh, there is better gold to found not far from there. Check out my video, the scottish Glen of Gold, and as for the haters, i just ignore it 👍
I wont name the hill but that area from halfway up is SSI (Special Scientific Interest) your not allowed to pan or sluice up there bud, i don't know if you know that, but you really should check for areas of SSI and protected areas. there's loads on non protected areas you could have gone to and probably got more gold. i do enjoy your videos but this one left me sour.
I do apologise. To my defence, there were other people panning in that area when I first arrived ,so I thought it was okay but no excuses, I will try and do more due diligence and more research next time, sorry again and thanks for pointing it out 👍
It's a hobby enjoying the great outdoors. Hardley destroying the environment and costs a hell of a lot more money to do than you could ever make if you did sell the tiny amounts of gold you find..👍

Well done bro that place is worked very hard 👍 👏
Certainly has unless I wasn't looking in the right spots 👍

Yeh, I suppose some gold is better than none, and good luck with your trip in the summer, Watch out for those midges, tho 👍
Nice day out One Man!
Love the video.
Heavy Pans!
The moss around you will hold gold like miners moss! Thanks for letting us tag along!
If this is from this year...hats off to you for sticking your hands in the water in this weather. I can't pan without decent gloves my fingers freeze
Cheers, Rob, and yeh, I was up there 2 weeks ago making this video . It actually snowed for a few days too

Thanks mate there definitely more to come from me 👍
Tyndrum is in Scotland NOT in England. You can call us whatever you want but don't call us English.🏴
How dare he call you english 😂😂😂 but I think he was referring to my other videos, my friend 👍
@@onemanandhispan Exactly, you don't call an Englishman Scottish either, however we are all part of the Union.👍
well done mate! you stick with it and dont give up! and the nuggets will soon appear!
Thanks mate 👍
Hard work up there from the look of it.
It's not the easiest burn I've come across tbh
What a blast fam. Great day out there 😃. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Always! Gold squad out 👍
hey, can you let me know what the essential gear list is for doing something like this?
This video I did a few months ago should help ruclips.net/video/3XLCXzuq2qI/видео.html
@@onemanandhispan cheers, sure did
Went right through the gold mine at tyndrum on the MTB came over the hill from the path other side wasn't much to see tbh
Is this private or the woodlands???
Nice work
Thanks mate 👍
Its a shame we don't have much gold in this country.
lead hills are meant to be good for gold
Everywhere is protected for the rich now .the working class and poor lucky not to get locked up for dog walking or bike riding
Try Hatton Garden
🤣🤣
well done

the ore can't be that good. Otherwise, Scots gold wouldn't have gone broke 😂😂😂👍

salty comment,you sound jealous.
@@supernova046 don't be silly.
Scientific interest?! 😂 more like the corrupt paedo government want the gold for themselves 😂😂😂
It's public land, we have every right to do as we wish as long as the land is unharmed.
The cows and sheep will have a load in their teeth from all the chewing :) fallback plan just in case.
😂😂😂
Do you need permission to go gold hunting on some ones land or government land or national trust land . Or can anyone look wherever they like .
Some places you will need landowners' permission, and others you will need to buy a permit .
This is my new hobby
I live in south wales
Really not worth the effort
You are in Scotland Britain is not a country .
Nonsense
Really wish people would just leave the environment alone , go work a second job if u want more money
