      Every new video encourages more people to try panning there.
      Thirty years ago there was a fair amount of gold to be had every time. Not any more.
      Most of the winter flood gold is gone by February. Lol

    There is a wee mine up the road from you, hop in there and help yourself to some big rocks they have dug out the mountain. The shiny rocks with veins are the ones you want to keep! Do not worry about the guy with the S.African accent, he is just pretending to be a miner.

    I wont name the hill but that area from halfway up is SSI (Special Scientific Interest) your not allowed to pan or sluice up there bud, i don't know if you know that, but you really should check for areas of SSI and protected areas. there's loads on non protected areas you could have gone to and probably got more gold. i do enjoy your videos but this one left me sour.

    • @onemanandhispan
      @onemanandhispan  8 месяцев назад +6

      I do apologise. To my defence, there were other people panning in that area when I first arrived ,so I thought it was okay but no excuses, I will try and do more due diligence and more research next time, sorry again and thanks for pointing it out 👍
