That was nicely put together and explained Andy. There are erratics in my local hills and in the nearby town as well, similar to like what you presented on your trip. Some of the research revealed that there are rocks from the Lake district which are not native to the local geology. It is all Gritstone in my area from a huge delta system 350 million years ago.👍
Great video, very interesting. I'm just down the M6 from you and will certainly be visiting that glacial erratic in Brum next time I'm there. Subscribed!
Thanks mate there's a number of trails around Birmingham that takes you to all the erratic boulders of Birmingham check out there Web site erraticsproject.org/ 👍
Yea Boiiiiii, 100% subbed and 🔔 on, I’ve always wondered what the prospecting game was like in the UK, i watch a lot of Australian and Canadian prospectors and always thought “I’d love a crack at that” and now I can see you can find it in England I’ll probably be having a go 👍🏻 by the sound of yower accent yow ay far frum me either 😂 so hopefully I’ve got some specks waiting to be found close to me too 👍🏻
Proper love this man. I'm new to the game and from around the way. In fact hearing about this and coinciding with the tv shows got me interested in the first place. If you've got any hints for Wanlockhead bud hit me up
I'm going up there for the gold panning championships next Sunday. Only panned there once about 3 years ago didn't find a speck . Gonna have another go at it on monday before I come back 👍
@@onemanandhispan i didn't even know the panning championship was a thing before i decided to go up that weekend. If you're competing I'll come and show some love 👍🏼
Interesting video thanks! After your last video my money was on this being Welsh gold and you've proved it right! Sadly the glaciers didn't make it as far south as Surrey, boo hoo. :o(
The gold will reset on the bedrock like I showed in the video . It can't sink any further and it gets stuck in the glacier clay till too because clay acts as a false bedrock rock too . Some of my best gold has come from clay
Great job all around fam. Keep at it. Gold Squad Out!!!

So brum gold is welsh gold. Rarest of all.
100 percent mate
So in theory, there could be nuggets deeper down ?
But surley , the gold would be well deeper. Not taken from a shovel if that long ago it was deposited?

Smash it open and pan the rock
Saving it for a rainy day and when I purchase a decent dolly to crush it up with
The download i done gave good spec counts forvthe area u do. I wont say where tho you know👌
