Betta macs are awesome
The egg transfer is really cool to watch. The male seems to make sure she doesn’t keep any. Thanks for watching.

One Live Food to Rule Them All

Scuds are my favorite live food for fish but my focus is on smaller community fish. Watch a wild type livebearer (X. meyeri) hunt them down! If you primarily keep monster fish then scuds might not be right for you. However, scuds have many uses beyond feeding fish because they are excellent cleaners and algae eaters. Are they right for you? Find our products at getgills.com/store.product/Becaus...

What is the species of cryptocoryne found on the ground at 7.27 seconds?
Which part of Kauai was this?
Awesome thanks
My female was busting with babies and then one day she is all skinny but no fry :(. Do they eat there babies?
Was moving some floating plants around and accidentally disturbed a small nest WITH eggs, didn’t know if was there, left it floating in place and put the plants back, but when checked hour later then nest and eggs have gone 😢 will the male find the eggs again and make another nest or just have to wait for them to breed again
Great video, im getting back to fish keeping, i got a question tho. Are these or least killi fish more peaceful and less energy. And what one is easier to keep? Since i like slow moving fisk not like gubbies.
Cool little dude😀IS that just normal green wool made in little tassels?? as I'm getting a dwarf pea puffer tomorrow and I really would like to know what that is😀Thanks in advance👍
Would one of these do well will congo tetras and some neochromis or are they like your typical puffer and prefer few tank mates? I've read conflicting info.
I have a question,How can I feed them if I have to go out for like two months.
how to differentiate between the male and female gourami?
When do the males typically develop that dark stripe? I've got a group of four currently and three of the four absolutely have *SOME* white on their belly, with yellow sides (one has a fully white belly), and one whos belly is solid golden yellow with no white. I just want to make sure I dont have any eye gouging in the future
Also thank you for the info! I will definitely be adding scuds to my order for the end of the week
Any pond or creek with algea or moss should have scuds. Sooo easy to gather and cultivate
My zebra Danios do.
Such a cool fish, love my pygmy rasboras.
Thanks! I want to try this. When frozen do you keep them in the fridge or back in the freezer?
i am your 996 subscriber
Thank you
Looks like a cory fry. I used to breed those. Some of them a bit small
❤
Amazing❤!
Can these be in the same aquarium as least killifish, or will they cross breed?
I would guess that they would cross breed or try to. Personally I keep them separated. Thanks
If you read this, do you think they would kill off all my cherry shrimp?
Hi, I think some will and some won’t. I also think that their habits could change at any point. It’s best to always have a backup plan. Thanks
@BecauseYourFish Mine slaughtered everything that wasn't fast enough to get away 😂 he does let me pet him though. All my shrimps are in a different tank now
@@KreatorOfDeath1985 yeah I know how that goes now that I have owned several. Some seem to want to punch holes in things 👍
@Slawsers one of my puffers is really aggressive towards the other. He also keeps cutting my water lily stems. All my plants are now "trimmed" is that normal?
@Slawsers I think I might try to trade in one of the puffers to my LFS because only 1 is the problem...
Tankmates? Which ones would be ok, great, or absolute no's?
I have a new puffer I could really use so help. He's not eating or barley eating we have him in a hospital tank. We have tried a variety of medication. Going to try this as well.
Please help. Can I put my baby 1.5 in spotter puffer in the same 75 gallon tank as my baby 1.5 inch tiger Oscar???? Since they're both babies they should get along just fine right????? Thank you so much🥹
Lol
Would a 2.5 inch one of these puffers and a 2 inch tiger Oscar get along in a my 40 breeder??
Will pea puffers eat this?
Mine do. I started with the eyes of the dried krill for pea puffers. The eyes closely resemble small snails. Takes some time for sure
Very nice, I am raising least killies
You need substrate and some live plants. They like to dig and they like to hide in plants.. you got none of that. All you have is the mop threads for egg laying.
Thank you
I'll bet that was a fun sight to see. Beautiful!
Even though I do fishtube, it's just for me because I'm an idiot, but I do have a 15g and 55g and that's all my channel is about. Are these rice fish?
No they are live bearing fish, more like guppies
Love these little guys. Right when I got mine they were very active, breed like crazy, clicked all evening and were just a joy to watch. Got a extended power outage at the house due to winter weather and lost them all and most everything else (multi-day outage with no way to heat the house) I'm building a new tank this year and I'm going as huge as I can. 125 gal just for them and maybe some CPD or EPD for the schooling. Going to give the tank a few months of plant growth and some shrimp a head start. But these will be the centerpiece. They're just such a perfect fish.
That sponge trick is a really good idea. I'm planning my scud setup now and that's very useful to me. Thank you!
Greetings…do you currently have any Neoheterndria Elegans (Tiger Teddy) available for purchase? I would like one or two pair… Thanks in advance for your reply… Lisa
Great video would like to know where u buy that bed hammock
She thicc
9:30 That behavior looks a lot like that of a Hillstream Loach.
What kind of puffer? Also, what are the best scuds for a brackish tank?
Im tring to breed some. My tetras look so cute when they eat them
The chubbiest cutie ever
I almost just lost a pea puffer due to inability in finding appropriate live food for her. I have no idea where to get scuds.
YO RESPECT! I keep my fish in quarantine for 3-4 months to avoid camellanus worms OR I just treat them for camellanus worms for no reason (the dosage is too harsh for most plants).
I just got one of these guys but I wanted to know how active are your puffers? Mine doesn’t move around very much but eats and is healthy.
I just got 3 of them a few days ago for a 40g community. Theyre doing well but id like to see them eat more. Tried frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp, might have to try out the skuds!
GREAT VIDEO. One of the BEST here on RUclips. I want some scuds for my pea puffers, lol. I would like to raise them like you do. Did your puffers have little ones?! THANKS!!😊
Literally my dream tank
How do you get this food???
what’s their temperament like ?
Can you do update on strawberry rasboras ?
Nice
