    I have never seen a snail with such a hard shell. Makes sense with how they are raised. This was a unique insight!

    what are all the tank mates you have in your spotted congo puffer tank?

    • @BecauseYourFish
      @BecauseYourFish  4 года назад +1

      BigBryan there are 9 or so hi-fin paleatus corys, 4 Daisy’s ricefish, 1 super red bn pleco, and a ton of Hillstream loaches. There are also a few cull shrimp, some trumpet snails and scuds. Thanks!

    She doesn’t hurt the fish in the tank with her?

    • @BecauseYourFish
      @BecauseYourFish  4 года назад +2

      No, she is an excellent community fish! She bites plants and has ruined some beautiful plants but that behavior has improved significantly!

    Nice size Spotted Congo, I have one too. They're great puffers I feed mine earthworms and rams horn snails. I went with the African theme and have congo tetra and an african catfish in the synodontis family. 36gbow

      Awesome! Are they the Synodontis schoutedeni? I’ve wanted to pair those! I have another smaller SCP too but it isn’t very friendly with this one so I keep them separated. Thanks!

      @@richp5285 yes, I believe the same person discovered a syndontis catfish as well, the yellow marbled syndontis. Anyway thanks again!

    Can a fish experience boredom,? Does it vary depending on size of fish? Probably, or is it because we see human traits in bigger fish?🤔 I love ramshorn snails, didn't stop to think that diet (rather than water conditions) could effect their shells, so many thanks again for video and making my brain ache 🤓🍀

      Kevin, thank you and great questions! Whatever fish experience, I prefer this fish biting snails or scuds. Thanks again and have a great day!
