watamote has been a manga that i’ve been reading since like i was 7 in and i adore it so much although im still a loser with no friends but at least i got my most favorite manga ever

One thing i like about this BL anime is that unlike so many BL (especially the older generations) this one didn't involve the old tropes of an aggressive seme and a passive uke, there was no non-con/dub-con, etc. Very wholesome and took it's time

I just watched this with someone else. They didn't understand. They didn't get it until I explained. His mom suffered post partum Depression and treated him as dirty and only touched him with gloves. And his dad was a piece of shit who was abusive. So he had no parents. She didn't know why he was able to be alone without cps coming. She was that pure, she didn't understand how truly dark and depressing it was.

Yea, show is about forgiveness, but the thing people complain about is that it doesn't feel genuine. Like all of a sudden, they're just okay with things. That's not really forgiveness.

If they are going to make Season 2 then they need to tone down the number of "friends" that Tomoko has because she literally has a harem.

Opinions can be wrong though. If your opinion is "I like blue more than red" that's fine, but if your opinion is "red is a bad color because it is," then your opinion is wrong, and objectively so. If people try to make the latter argument, then they are either extremely low IQ or arguing in bad faith. Speaking of potentially wrong opinions, but I'm in the "I assume Daida (and Boiji) are much older than we're lead to believe. I assume being a giant (and in Daida's case, half-giant) affects how they age. I'm assuming giants in this world age slowly, and there are bits and pieces in the lore to support this so far. And yes, I'm making the case that Daida is potentially in his mid 20's or later and Boiji may even be in his 40's. We can also note how certain members of the big 4 have aged less gracefully than others. It may all be me looking too far into things, but in a story that is constantly telling the viewer "things aren't always as they appear," then sue me for trying to read between the lines.

When i opened the first episode i was like, wtf is this todler shit.... Little did i know how hearthbreaking the scenes at times are. At some episodes i was straight up balling and invested by the time the first ep ended.

Sasaki to Miyano is the healthiest bl (or even one of the healthiest romance pieces in general) anime/manga story we have by far. Sasaki never forced Miyano to do anything and gave him time to think about his confession. He never created unnecessary drama and miscommunication that would get dragged on for the whole story (same goes for Miyano). Miyano didn't rush into the relationship and figured out his thoughts himself. He didn't want to hurt Sasaki's feelings, he thought long and hard about them long term instead of just "trying it out" which is SO important. Their love for each other is real, so well portrayed and it's just so teeth rotting sweet that my grin never went away from my face, no matter how many times i re-read/re-watched it. Not even going to rant about how the side characters are so lovable too because that would take literal days to write. I remember seeing the trailer 2 years ago (maybe even a bit more I can't remember) and i was so excited since it looked really cool, watched it while the episodes were coming out and afterwards read the manga and was blown away by wholesomeness. I just recently got into it AGAIN and i have the same feeling of my heart feeling light and floaty in my chest whenever i think about them.

This anime is fucken beautifull. while other shows use shock content and flash this show used actual writing to keep me watching. AND what kept coming into my head was that someone out there was just like this kid. 0 hope from the world but still trying to make it out.
