First off, thanks for reminding me Black Clover is a thing I really need to to get back on that 😂 But second, from a writing perspective, having a character deal with a demon within them (whether if be literal or figurative) it's almost always a powerful tool to illustrate struggles, growth, change, power, temptation, and the will of that character be explore. And extra points if the main villan has a similar demon inside them, one that they gave into, to serve as a dark mirror to the protagonist of what they could become.
Loving how you guys are sharing how anime relates to your own life and how they inspire you to become the best verison of yourself. Excited to see more! The story telling the editing is fire! Proud of you guys! :) It helps me see your guys perspective. Even as someone who isn't super into anime I can see why it brings you guys so much joy & inspiration.

I kind of agree. I do believe I'm special. It's difficult to explain without sounding crazy, but I might be the true main character of this world. Laugh if you want, but feeling special is something many if not all of us do in some way. For me, it's being the only one in class to get something right, being top percentage in a game, or something simple like beating someone in a fight with little effort. The appeal of the demon inside is the desire for superiority, or at least something to silently have over others while pretending to be average.

Yo digimon also... you should check out ghost game that is all. Yami Yugi is technically a demon or dark self although they imply Yugi is a reincarnation. Shonen but also Seinen series too I suppose. And ya it is definitely interesting and how different series resolve demons and what they represent and how they use them
