What Happened to Vine?
Today many people spend over an hor everyday watching short form content on tik tok, Instagram and youtube. But before short form content was popular on these platforms, Vine dominated. In this video we’re going to look at what happened to Vine.

What Is The Largest Possible File Size?
Просмотров 96521 день назад
File sizes have increased dramatically over time. Compare the space a low res photo from an old digital camera takes up compared to a 4k one from today. Or the space needed to install the latest games on your console compared to a time when they ran straight from the disc. A hard drive which would have been a respectable size 20 years would be nearly useless today. With the size of content incr...

How Much Data Is There In The World?
This channel is actually so good, simple explanation, short, straight to the point. Liked and subbed.
Only reasons to use hdmi are you dont have displayport, or need for some reason audio and video through the same cable which only HDMI does.
Did you use Vine and would you like to see it make a comeback?
Thanks for the info. 🙂 Remember that God truly loves you and is looking for your love too! 🙂
Thank you 🙏🏻
So are you supposed to ground each wrap on each pair? Is there a drain wire ran inside like 6a? Because corning said the drain wire was supposed to be placed inside the crimp dye folded in the middle to ground the ends and the male plug will in turn ground to the body of the switch.. it was a whole big thing because we had to take off every patch panel and sand between the racks and panel putting dielectric in also.. where the feeds were for the sec espn during gameplay all the thousands of cellphones and all was interfering with the feeds to the satellite and fiber was not installed yet.. was a crazy couple of months..
If buy display hdmi adapter and hdmi cable can you connect it any hdmi monitor? Lets say chat or if see obs recording .
It's all just time that all my s20 plus served me like a champ all the way until I upgraded it to an s24 ultra. I plan on getting a 1tb s tab 10 and a nice sd card. Gonna transfer all my data to it and let the old boy drift in retirement.
Honestly Switching from HDMI to DP was arguably one of the best decisions ive made
ALWAYZ USED DP ON MY PC ALWAYZ 💯
is this meant for routers or cable modems or both? can one have wifi6 and the other have wifi5 or will that cause a bottle neck?
I have a 3d tv and need a replacement
Is the extra pin there for spying?
I think one big thing you missed about HDMI is that it supports CEC, which displayport does not.
This is the best video ever 💪🏾
Thanks! 🙏🏻
А для чего на 4к мониторах делают 144Hz+ если у них поддерживается только displayPort 1.4 ? Получается что ограничение в 120Hz
Fantastic clear explanation I learned so much thank you
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching
USB 3 does support alternate mode in USC-C to HDMI, USB4 by spec as its based from thunderbolt also support displayport alternate modes and it can do it with usb data
Keep up the good work mate
Thank you!🙏🏻
The blackberry was my first ever smartphone i miss using the touchpad like mouse cursor and typing on the physical keyboard
I forgot about the mouse cursor, another useful feature!
@techindex1 it also reminds me of one of those laptops i use to have that had the red dot mouse cursor on the middle of the keyboard
Physical buttons better than touch crap
I found the physical buttons on the BlackBerry to be a bit too small for my liking
Palm was my go to keyboard phone
How did you find the size of it?
@ I love smaller phones. Right now I’m still using the iPhone 13 mini since it’s the smallest phone available. A phone is supposed to fit in my pocket comfortably. Not trying to carry around a tablet sized phone with me.
I did own a playbook, after blackberry sold it and WebOS to HP and it was the closest thing to an iPad I have ever seen, in some areas I’d say it was better. I’m sad it went away but I’m glad WebOS lived on and it’s now in my LG TV.
Interesting to hear it was better under HP! What made it better?
@ oh, hang on! I never said that, lol. Really they just inherited it, all they did was stick a badge on it. It was very stable, never crashed or needed rebooted. It was very smooth in operation. At the time it felt more polished than android but that is before androids Project butter. It was very enjoyable to use, nothing was frustrating. The App Store of course was limited but there were some decent apps in there but again we are still in the early days. Enjoyable experience for £80 I think I paid.
I owned one briefly (very briefly). Quickly traded it for an iPhone. My problem with it was that not all the software available for the iPhone was available for the Blackberry. Also, the software that was available for both, was more expensive for the Blackberry.
Yes I owned one briefly too but the poor choice of apps was the main put off for me!
Did you ever own a BlackBerry and how was your experience?
Blackberry Bold.
I believe you miss the most important reasons. 1. You can build and own your own Pager transmitter tower. You can't own your own cell tower. 2. With pagers you buy and own the network, with a cell network you are relying on an outside enterty. Why these facts are so important is that it means that during a natural disaster or, good forbid, a war, the hospital has a self contained communication system that can be kept powered by their own back up generators. Cell networks tend to fail in these scenarios. I would even go as far as saying these are actually the main reason hospitals still use pagers
i got 500/500 in norway but can easy get 1000/1000 mbit for more cost some providers offers 1250/1250 mbit
Not bad!
Hello, hdmi 2.0 supports 2k 120hz resolution?
is it possible that the trojan could hack gmail account?
Yes there could be a keylogger that has captured a password
I got a Trojan in my laptop!!... I tried to delete it with Windows defender but it just keep reappearing and I think another user was created without my consent. But I never knew and I think he was there for a long time because I dont check my Windows Defender so much. So my friends try to help me to delete it but the only way to get rid of it is by reseting you PC and reinstall Windows.
Seriously why the f*ck are we still using HDMI?
HDMI 2.2 announced a few days ago: 8K @240hz
I have had a 3D tv since 2014 and have enjoyed watching (well, re-watching) the marvel and other special effects filled movies on it. It was magnificent! My TV packed up December last year. Looking to replace it with a new 3D TV only to learn they have long since stopped being manufactured (What a shame!). YES, I want them back.
what about wire with 1 head hdmi and 1 head dp?
Does hdmi 2.0 support 2k res at 120hz?
Oh there's ways I've interacted or I'm crazy
The biggest file I've had was 340~ GB. It was a PSB from NASA that contained a 300,000 x 300,000 pixel photo of the galaxy.
Awesome!
What about Btrfs? Is this used primarily for NAS?
Yes and Linux servers in my experience, not seen it used elsewhere
Btrfs is beginning to be the default on several desktop distributions.
I was already annoyed when I coudn't store a harddisk image on ext4 a few months ago. 16TB per file by default is too low in practice today. I kinda miss all the modern filesystems in your video with much larger limits.
XFS, reFS, ZFS, ...
Yes for power users 16tb is already a bit low
ext4 can have larger files if you use a larger blocksize. 16TB is true for the default 4KB block but block size can be up to 64KB. Sort of the same what the other FS do, ExFAT also needs larger clusters for that 16EB
Yeah I think for the vast majority of people though they’ll be using the default apart from in an enterprise setting
@@techindex1 This is going to border on nitpicking, but while that seems reasonable, you yourself set the scope: "each file system has a different maximum theoretical file size; I say theoretical because the size some of them offer is way beyond what todays OS and hardware can handle" - except for ext4 I guess., for ext4 we'll stick to the current actual common OS implementations instead of the theoretical maximum.
Are you sure about 4Gb is just a RAM or complete memory.
RAM is also referred to as memory 😊 in this context they’re the same thing
Is Displayport 2.1 also faster in Latency? For example, i think about buying the new 5000 Series from Nvidia GPUs. They have DSP 2.1 instead of 1.4. Will it make a Latency diffrence from my GPU into my Monitor? -Good Video btw, keep it up!
One day: "And they thought that 16 EB was enough for anyone"
Yep someone looking back at this in the future may be laughing 😂
My guess is quantum processing will shortly thereafter move to quantum file systems (which I believe is already in the works) and then file size really won't matter anymore. Or total storage. As long as you don't observe it anyway.
Interesting thought, I hadn’t really considered how quantum computing file systems would work
"Yes your file is deleted, and also no, your file is not deleted..."
this is what helped my family find my brother and his friend after they had a fatal RTC. It was the only thing that went off and helped emergency services find them. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done to save them but they had crashed on a dark road in the sticks and the only notification that got anybody’s attention was this feature
I’m so sorry to hear that, I hope you and your family are ok, thank you for sharing this.
nice
Thank you!
give it 10 years
I think it’ll be a while longer than that but who knows!
HDMI < DP: Locking connector, more bandwidth, multi-display, etc. Should be the industry standard, but Noooooooo...
Here's the TLDW: Display Port is better in every way other than adoption by mediocre devices.
A good summary
Keep up with the good work
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Do you think we will see these maximum file size limits reached in our lifetime and what’s the largest file you’ve ever seen?
I have a rar file worth 184gb
Not bad, how big is it uncompressed?
@@techindex1 about 210gb. Not a lot
