I have had a 3D tv since 2014 and have enjoyed watching (well, re-watching) the marvel and other special effects filled movies on it. It was magnificent! My TV packed up December last year. Looking to replace it with a new 3D TV only to learn they have long since stopped being manufactured (What a shame!). YES, I want them back.
i still have 65 inch DLP Mitsubishi tv with the glasses. Its only 1080p though. I probably watched 10 movies max on it the entire time i had it as 3D. The content that i wanted to watch was just not there. They were awesome to watch, but i am not someone who watches the same thing twice very often. I think Prometheus and Avatar were the best ones that really stood out on this TV. Now that i dont wear glasses, thats no longer an issue for me. The one thing i wasnt as impressed with was the depth of the 3D images. Big difference between theatre 3D and home 3D. I would imagine it would be much better with the 100" + screens coming out. Projectors still have 3D, so i could also replace the setup with a projector based one instead.
Yes, I still have a 2016 60" LG 4k 3D TV. 3D blu-rays are still produced, at least outside of the U.S., and some 4k blu-ray players still include 3D. I also have a 3D projector that shows 3D on a big screen, which can be impressive. It's a fun effect if well done. Amazon used to sell 3D TVs (mostly used), but not so much anymore. Too bad they probably won't come back.
Did you ever own a 3D TV and would you like to see them make a comeback?

I don't know why but 3D movies released after 2015 are basically 2D movies .. We don't get that pop out effect anymore😢
