It’s good when you can find a nice site that you can travel to after work on a Friday x It’s great that there is a bus stop & a village. The facilities were really good too! Wow, Imagine it's slowly grown over the years. Bet it looks a bit different now. Hope Valley is lovely, I used to visit the Peak District when I was a young lad to visit some friends with my aunt and uncle, it has very fond memories and it's fantastic to visit again - I hope (pardon the pun) I will be back at some point in the future! It’s the only one we’ve tried in Buxton so probably worth checking to see if others may be more suitable - we loved the site and plenty of walks and you could cycle up the road and catch tracks from there I believe (but worth checking out) All the best, David & Rachel 👍

The LED light strips I worried about and put some diodes to drop the voltage on some where they aren’t regulated - I would for future install a stabiliser all be it they do waste quite a bit of power (or buy better gear which is designed for the job 😀)

Hi, I got them from eBay but its a good few years back now, Make sure they have the memory capability so they stay in the last state as during the pandemic, some didn’t have that due to chip shortage,. If you search on eBay for 12v spot LED Reading Light USB Touch you should spot them. All the best, David 👍

David did some emergency tracker thing on my phone which is how he found me. Well once I had stopped moving about 😂😂 because the wood was so dense the signal was rubbish and it was struggling to get a signal. Never mind I got out eventually! 😂😂 I will ask David re car auction as there looked to be some crackers there x

Thank you - you would be fine with 15A terminals for the USB if they are the same as mine as the maximum load would be under 10A (more like 5-7A) - main thing to ensure is the fuse you have is 10A or 7.5A to ensure the cable and spade connector are protected. Can’t see an issue with that though, All the best, David 👍

I loved it! Peaceful, quiet, great facilities, epic dog walk (without getting lost) but still close to town. 100% my favourite club site. The wardens were great too! Like you & Arnie we will be back. Loved it! 💗 Rachel & David 💗💗

The Buxton and lost in France just got stuck up in my head with the mood of the track (if you spotted Rachel’s face when the music started you will get my drift 😀) Yes, Lickd all be it can be a pain clearing copyrights at times as they seem to rarely auto clear - thankfully today it did given my hand to mouth production 😀 Thanks for the comment, appreciated. I put the map thing on my phone but was moving further away from the car park but when I turned round (which I did many times) I was still getting further away Ohhh we went to Carsington last year - we enjoyed that site too xx Rachel & David 💗

Oh Tim I did get scared! I put the map thing on my phone but because the wood was so dense there was a delay in signal so I was actually getting further away! The people on the trees was actually Go Ape - I was that lost! 😞 But I loved the site and area and 100% would go back x How’s your new van fairing up?

We hired Glissando shes not too long shes a beauty, only sleeps 2, you could hire one of the others and maybe take another couple with you. Give it a try its brilliant great scenery and wildlife. I would like to do the norfolk broads but i think it gets too busy in summer, im deffinitley going to do it again xx

Thank you - very interesting ref old clothes needed - hadn’t considered that at all - it does look like there would be a nack to things and it would take some time to get the hang of it.
