Thank you for the informative video. Luss & Glencoe, Glen Nevis, Loch Ness and the Isles in the Highlands of Scotland are arguably the most scenic areas in our Great Country. Your walk around Luss is full of memories for our family as it is always one of out ‘stop-offs’ on the drive-up from middle England. Your NEC videos again, ‘thank you, for the informative nature of them. Swift Carrera 132 2025 model is our winning CamperVan, which we take delivery of in early 2025. The only upgrades are an automatic gearbox and the new look wheels on show at the Swift stand at the NEC. We are also fitting a 360 degree camera reversing system to the vehicle by a company near Salop Dealership (our local dealership) before pick-up day. As I know you love your gadgets and all things electrical, is there a system you know of that is a 360 reversing camera system, you have seen and liked? Regards, P
Thank you - really appreciated - it’s a beautiful area isn’t it and I can see why you would stop off there. Ref 360, there were the ones and the show but I do like the Motorhome Retrofits (channel) one but it is a bit pricey but top notch - fancying a 360 myself on next van! All the best, David 👍
Thank you - shame we missed you - you’re right it’s lovely isn’t it. Hope you’re both doing well and enjoying wedlock! 🥂🍾All the very best David & Rachel xx ❤️👍
Hi david & rachel cracking vlig that site looks brilliant hope you enjoyed your stay. On the intro when you smile and wave at the end i always smile and wave back lol, what has my life become lol. 😂😂😂😂 Until the next one xx
Awwww thank you - pleased you enjoyed it and thanks for the wave back! 🙌 it was a lovely site and area, even better when the sun came out. Have a great rest of the week and weekend - all the very best, David & Rachel 👍
Hi David Rachel and Roxy loved seeing your video of Luss we have visited many times with my mom and dad and also with Victoria on our holidays for the day it’s such a lovely spot and as you say the scenery by the loch is amazing and the village of Luss itself It looks like Roxy really enjoyed the water and playing on the beach we have often seen the site when in area and thought it looked really nice and it does look clean and tidy and what a view to wake up to! Looks like you all had a wonderful time all the best Daniel
Hi Daniel - Roxy loved the water 😀 it’s a cracking area and site ain’t it - the scenery as you say is amazing. It’s lovely - I’m sure you will have had an amazing time when you were there - all the very best, David & Rachel 👍
Thanks for uploading. It looks a fantastic campsite and the scenery is amazing ⛰️🏞️ I love how you are so enthusiastic and positive about everything. It just makes for such an uplifting enjoyable video.
Thank you for watching & commenting 💗 The campsite was beautiful and it really isn’t hard to be so positive when you are surrounded by such a beautiful place with so many great things to see. It’s a privilege 💗 Rachel & David 💗💗
Nice video! We've booked in for New Year here with our Caravan with a Loch side pitch. We hope we can put the caravan front forward facing the Loch! Looking forward to our stay.
Thank you for watching & commenting! We do hope you enjoyed it as much as we did 💗💗 I can’t see why you wouldn’t be able to face the loch. It’s magical 💗💗 Rachel & David 💗💗
Hiya David Rachel and Roxy. It's nice to see Luss in sun shine we we're there in April for a day and it rained as soon as we got over the Erskine Bridge. But still enjoyed it. We also went on that cruise on the Loch. We later moved on to Loch Lomond shore's. It was very busy. Can't believe Rachel can remember take the high road😮 We we're going to see the tomato man last Friday but typical weather at the moment it started to rain so decided against it we'll try this week. Enjoyed your NEC vlogs. Till next time Tek care and drive safe. Malcolm and Sheila from Workington
Hi Malcolm and Sheila, hope you’re both ok. It was lovely when the sun came out on the second day, it looked lovely in the drizzle but even better in the sun. It’s nice to take a cruise on the lake isn’t it. Yes, Rachel remembered Take the High Road, I remember the name but don’t recall watching it. Say hello to Tomato man from us when you see him. All the every best, David and Rachel 👍❤️
Ah lovely Luss! Have you stopped for lunch at Duck Bay Marina? It's our go-to stop off point as we head north. Fun fact, our friend Rachel was a recurring actress in Take The High Road! Tiffany Bowles! Looking forward to seeing the next stage of your Scotland adventure. N&Nx
Ahh no we didn’t go to Duck bay marina - added to the list for next time 💗 Ohhh I just googled Tiffany - I remember her! Does that make me a friend of the stars too??! 😂 We head off to Mull next and it didn’t disappoint for sure xx 💗💗 Rachel & David x
Great vlog. Really enjoyed it ! We stayed at the Luss site in our CV20 a couple of weeks before you as we were attending a function at the Lodge on Loch Lomand hotel next to the site. Lovely site. We had breakfast and evening meal with friends at the Village Rest Restaurant in Luss. Great food and lovely staff.
Ahhh Pat what a coincidence! It would of been great to have been there with you x When we got to Mull we bumped into another CV - but I will leave that to the next video! It’s a stunning site & location 💗💗 Rachel & David 💗💗
Cobblers the birds don't hibernate. The Campsite is beside the Loch. Not in it. I will be in Scotland before thee as its 50p to have a pee. Great song. Have a good trip cheers from old George 😂😂😂😂😂
Hi! Thank you for watching & commenting! I think you are right about the birds migrating not hibernating although in this weather I wouldn’t blame them if they did hibernate 😂 Beautiful place & area Rachel & David 💗💗
Looks like another great site, great views and a super trip around the lake, Definitely a loch side pitch would be my choice too. Handy village shop too with so much stuff. I bet Roxy was straight in the water. Could be one for the list 😉
I would definitely recommend it, it was an amazing site and the views were fantastic, I would have kicked myself if i hadn’t got a loch side pitch. Wish we had stayed longer but always and excuse to go back - you should check it out - all the very best, David & Rachel 👍
Cracking video again guys. Many years ago my late wife and I stayed at a camp site on the opposite side of the Loch to Luss. I remember the stunning sunsets, although it was in August….midges 😱. You should stay longer than 1 night at these sites, it gives you more opportunity to explore the area. Looking forward to see Mull, I’ve not been there….yet 👍
Thank you for watching & commenting! 💗 We deliberately went later in the year as those pesky blighters do like a good nibble! Unfortunately we only had 8 days off work and were desperate to get to Mull so it was a 1 nighter. But we would definitely go back x Mull was beautiful- exceeded expectations Rachel & David 💗💗
@@LeisureBit Work just gets in the way doesn’t it 😂. I live in South Wales so Scotland is a long trip for me. On my tour this year I made a couple of stops on the way up and back. Didn’t include the Western Isles, hence why I’m interested to see what you thought 👍
We are literally just back home from staying in that exact pitch for the past 2 nights 😮 I may have missed it but did you suffer from the acorn bombs 😂 certainly kept us on our toes 😁 Great video 👍
Brilliant! We didn’t seem to get too much bother from anything dropping on the van, wonder if I’m the last week or two they have started dropping more? Imagine it would have kept us on our toes too! All the very best, David & Rachel 👍
Thank you - Sounds fantastic, we can’t believe how beautiful it was and wish we had stayed longer, definitely would go back. All the very best, David & Rachel 👍
It’s a fantastic place - can’t believe we hadn’t been previously - especially when the sun came out - imagine the church is lovely inside - lovely to see you last week and hope you have / had a safe journey home - all the best, David & Rachel 👍
Thank you for watching & commenting. It is expensive but the views & proximity to Luss made it worth it in our opinion 💗💗 The staff were lovely 🥰 Rachel & David 💗
Funny thing. I've literally just watched Motoring Matilda's vid of the Luss site. Whilst they also mentioned that the site itself had great facilities, they mentioned that the noise from the road was quite bad. How did you guys find it?
Thanks for the comment and for watching, if you were on a pitch next to the road then I’m sure it would be more noticeable but road noise wise on the first day when we arrived I didn’t really notice but on the second day when we were heading off I did hear a little all be it nothing that would bother us, think the wind was different on the day we were leaving so that may have an impact on what you here, but for us perfectly acceptable on the pitch we were on. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Hello David Rachel and Roxy. Hope u are well. Loved your nec video, Merc and VW were the best vans, liked your relaxed video at Luss. Looked really nice. What was the music when u were in the shop please. Nice to watch all your lovely videos. You are one of our favourites. Love to you all.were off in our home conversion ex Sainsbury van again soon Upto Lincolnshire. We watch another nice utuber called Bongoben, a young chap from Norfolk with a Mazda bongo reviews sites. Nice chap. Check him out. Best wishes David and Beverley Norfolk
Hi David & Beverley, hope you’re both good and your conversion is taking you on many great trips! Luss was lovely and well worth checking out if you’re in that area of Scotland. I think the music is called “shopping for fun” and is on Epidemic sounds if that helps. Will have to check Bongoben out… thanks for the tip. Have a good week, All the very best, David & Rachel 👍

Loch not lock
Have I written Lock somewhere? Or is it pronunciation? Apologies if so…
Yet more unsightly, polluting van's in the country.
Each to their own - we spent local and contributed to the community staying on campsites again helping the local economy.
