Hi guys. Great vlog. The clip-in kitchen worktop extension looked a nice idea, but I could see that slipping out once the runners become worn. I like how they've installed the drop down bed though. If they ditched the forward cabin seats and extended the washroom to include a separate shower, it would be perfect for me. I can dream ... 😁
Thank you - appreciated. It gives a good bit extra work surface doesn't it - wonder also if you might forget to remove it and it come off when driving? We were going to have a look and see if there are other layouts in the compact coachbuilts, we will keep any eye out for that type, I imagine it would appeal with a more luxury washroom and shower, plus a larger lounge in lieu of the dinette area. All the very best, David & Rachel 👍
Hi David and Rachel a great video as ever and like the look of the Ascari it gives you the space of a coach built with the narrower width and move ability I do like the look of the swift vans and seem nicely made as well all the best to you both Daniel
Thank you - we thought it was nice to check out as it’s a more plush alternative to a panel van but in roughly the same form factor so it got us curious - lots of the coachbuilt refinement but with a nice narrow body to save accessibility issues. There were a couple of smaller coach builds we want to check out having looked at that one. Nice spec too. All the very best, David & Rachel 👍
Love the Ascari range, great vans and if we were looking for a motorhome certainly would be top of our list 🙂 Thanks for the mention, grea as ever meeting you guys 🙂 Take care, Trev Debz and Tyler
Thank you - interestingly I think it might have been as the others have “9 Speed Auto” or something like that stamped on them and I didn’t see that on this one. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
@@LeisureBit The new (not really new as has been used in cars for a few years now) 8sp. gearbox is a Japanese Ainsin built under licence in France by Peugeot.
A nice enough van but the bathroom could or should have been made a little bit bigger. Whilst Rachel is not tall, she is very wide, and it looked quite tight for her moving around. I think this is a general mistake the manufacturers keep making.
Thanks for the comment, washrooms seem to be the trickiest to get right in a small van, width and height, even some with separate showers can be very tight. Bailey seemed to be considering his with the oval opening but that’s has its compromises also. There must be a better solution. All the best, David & Rachel 👍

@@LeisureBit crikey. I never thought about it coming off when driving. That could be a real smack on the back of the head!

Nice van isn’t it, surprising for the size. Always lovely to see you guys too, all the best, David & Rachel 👍❤️
Looks a great van but for some strange reason I’m not keen on the fold down sinks. Thanks for showing us around. Take care Gill
Hi Gill I think it because we have been is so many that have been broken
This van search is harder than anticipated 😩
Rachel & David
Is that the new in house Fiat 8 speed auto gearbox?, not heard anything on those yet, time will tell..
Great video as always.
