My first choice not on the list is 'Comfortably Numb' by Pink Floyd. I can find no fault in this gem.

Why are Prog Fans STUCK in the 70s like there has not been a Good Prog Band or Album in the last 45 years? Today we have Muse, Imogen Heap, Arcade Fire, Florence Welch.... Come on! I don't consider several on the list to be really Prog. like Aqualung. Also, a couple I need to learn about, so thankful for the insight. For me, there is no way I would have this list without at least one song each by the Moody Blues and Renaissance on it; perhaps Have You Heard/Lovely to See You and Kiev, respectively.

Peter Hamill is rated higher than Jon Anderson, Steve Walsh, Annie Haslam and Greg Lake? Ouch! I know that musical tastes are subjective, but Hamill is a very divisive singer in the world of prog. If you look at a lot of the Vander Graaf videos on RUclips, or in many prog forums, a common thing to hear is that people have been turned off of the band because they couldn't stand Hamill's vocals. Even some VDGG fans will admit that he's not a good singer, but the good music makes up for his vocal deficiencies.

That clip you use for Frank Zappa is not actually Zappa singing. While Zappa did do a lot of his own singing, he also had other lead vocalists in his band. This sounds like Victor Willis.

Asia was not a prog rock group. They were a collection of former prog stars who turned out bubble gum top 40 songs because prog lost favor to disco and punk rock.

Interesting personal choice. However, I could never see how Rush could be classed as proper prog. A great metal guitar band but prog? Not in my book!
