    You added animations?!!! I'm super impressed. Fantastic vivid shots as always. Did you purposely drive around at dusk for the lighting in the early portion of the episode? And the foliage shots in the mountains was astounding too. I literally just stopped what I was working on and sat back to watch. Such a good transition with the artist. Just another great and relaxing video. And I haven't been Duckpin Bowling in 30 years lol.

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview 6 дней назад

      You like my parrots? Lol! That sign said watch for parrots cracked me up and I had the idea when I was filming. We all know Jimmy Buffet loved parrots so it seemed fitting! I thought you might be impressed 😁 So that drive in the mountains was about 10 ish am and the sky got overcast which gave it that look which helped the fall colors pop! So that was not dusk it was overcast and i did color grade it, so that too. I should have bowled, i’ve never done duck bowling so thats partly why I didn’t. Thanks for watching!

    • @disfarers
      @disfarers 6 дней назад

      @@GlampReview Wow, such a nice job on the doing that color grade. I always want to play with levels and such but for what I do, it rarely ever seems relevant. I find it so impressive when others do so though. The parrots took me completely by surprise though! Such a fantastic Jimmy Buffet touch! And hey, give duckpin bowling a go sometime. I remember having a blast. An adult cousin would take me all the time. I think he was on a league or something. People that do it are always like really REALLY into it. Anyway, again, great work on this one.

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview 6 дней назад

      Color grading is where it’s at to get the video to pop. I’ll have to try duckpin bowling next time I see it. Tonya actually thought the parrots needed to be taken out. I’m glad you liked that. It makes me crack up when I see it. Thanks for the great comment!

    Love the 700 loop, haven’t been in years do they still have the water show at Fort Wilderness on bay lake?

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview 12 дней назад

      They do! We missed it because it rained almost every night and they canceled the shows. When it did run we were at the magic kingdom and only saw it floating away and we didn’t have the video camera ready to catch it. But yes they do have it generally right after the Magic Kingdom fireworks. At the end of this video where we filmed the fireworks we waited for the water show. One of the boat captains came out on the loud speaker and said it was canceled because lightening was detected. In 2025 i’m going to hope to catch it. Thanks for watching!!! The 700 loop is good too! You can find the train cross ties behind 702 and 704, I show this in part 3 “highlights” ruclips.net/video/k1CkO6WMaXw/видео.htmlsi=QO2RNucGlJzlo6u5

    I really enjoyed watching your video. We’re heading to FW in a few days and one of our site requests is 612. What size is your 5th wheel? Ours is 43, but our son wants to put a tent behind it.

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview 18 дней назад

      Great site! We loved it! Hope you get it!!! Ours is 40 foot. You should be good. What you may need to do is park your 5th wheel closer to the right side and then park your truck next to it at the front. I let ours hang off the back about 5 feet or so. I parked our truck directly to it and it’s 20 foot long. So if I was to guess that would be about 60 foot. What you see on camera. I think I had about 10 feet in front. If you watch the video again you can study that. That site is 55 foot long according the wilderness princes. But i think it may be longer. My truck and camper is about 50 total if not a little longer when connected. You’ll have to let me know if you get this site. I asked for 606 but we got 612. But all of those in that loop are good. The ones that back up to the lake I really like. Have fun!!! Thanks for watching! Safe travels! P.S. I’m jealous! 😁

      Yea all the premium sites are deep and wide. The preferred and full hook up sites are tight for a big camper as some of those are not that deep. With the site being so big it helps. Once you get in it you can use the large space to walk your camper into place like I did.

    Hi there! I am a subscriber and have been to the Fort many times. When it comes to checking in I always have my request in place for a loop. I always stay at the KOA in Kissimmee the night before check in to the Fort. I leave the KOA at 6:30 am and arrive at the Fort before 7:00 am. I pull into the overflow and usually a lot of options there. Grab my bike and take a ride to P&Js for coffee. After that I take my bike and ride the loop I requested checking for empty sites or sites that have j7st emptied and are being cleaned for the next guest. I head back to reception and ask a cast member if I can have one of those empty sites. They have always worked the magic and put us in one of the sites we saw empty in the loop we requested

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview 26 дней назад

      Awesome! Thank you for being a subscriber! That’s a Good way of doing it! Having our cats with us all the time we cant leave them in our RV because we dont have a generator for AC. So we would have to stay parked with the truck idling for AC for them which is horrible for our truck. Then they would need to use the litter box but our camper would be hot with no AC running. So what you do would work for most people but for us it wouldn’t. Thats why I complained when I thought 2 hours. It was 90 plus degrees that time too! So i was thinking we are going to burn up or kill the emission system in our Diesel to run AC sitting. Cats are weird they are not like dogs. Ours never go outside so they would be very stressed if we were to put them in their cages and golf cart them around in 90’s. Until our site was ready. If we had dogs we could just walk them around until it was ready but our cats we just can’t. 🤦‍♂️ But for those reading that don’t have cats this is a great idea! Thanks for sharing your experience! Again thank you for subbing! And watching!!!

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview 26 дней назад

      Also I will mention this in our 2025 trip at the Fort! I’ll mention that it came from you too. Thats a fantastic way of picking a site! Great way to improvise!!! Again we couldn’t do it just because of our cats. But…. It makes me want to think how could I just hop on the bike ride the loop i requested then pick a site.. I love this idea. I just don’t think it will work. Now if we had a motorhome we could do that for sure. Or if we had a generator for the RV.

    • @jeffpiester3221
      @jeffpiester3221 25 дней назад

      That is understandable. We have cats at home and they stay home when we travel in the RV. We pay a person we know to come to the house and take care of them. I have tried to take them on trips but they get car sick. @@GlampReview

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview 25 дней назад

      Our primary reason we got into RVing was to be able ro take our cats. We started rhem as kittens so they do fairly good. We do have to medicate then for driving but they love being in the RV. They love watching out the windows. Annie our black and white cat gets anxiety riding but we give her anxiety meds and they work wonders. Simon does good we thought he got car sick but its nerves. So get meds for anxiety too. Now giving Annie meds shes fine with it. But Simon will fight the pill like crazy. Of course we checked with our vet and they got prescribed the meds. At first we thought it was car sickness in Simon but that didn’t help. The vet mentioned it may be nerves. So we tried him on the anxiety meds and bam! That works if he dont fool us and spit it out when we are not looking lol. Ours have never been separated from us in 3 years. Sometimes I think it would be so much easier but then I would miss them and feel bad. We are crazy cat people!

    Was this right after a hurricane? We noticed standing water between some sites and the place looks empty.

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview 27 дней назад

      Actually the hurricane was after that. Hurricane Ian came i think 2 weeks later. But it rained a lot everyday. So the standing water was from that. By looking at it I think it’s like that a lot in those areas because the way the tree trunks look. They have that certain look.

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview 27 дней назад

      It’s empty because it’s the first of September 1-14th. The beginning of September is a slow time at Disney historically. It’s also less expensive at the resorts then too which is a sign its slower. The end of September crowds start to pick up as it get closer to Halloween. We have gone to Disney in September several times and thats what we have discovered. This was our first Fort Wilderness stay but at the other resorts we have stayed less crowded at the first of September and more at the end. If you look at the prices at resorts - when it’s the highest thats when the crowds are the highest. When the price is low you can expect it to be lighter. Of course Disney is busy all the time but that two weeks is among the lowest crowds. So all that to say the sites are empty i suspect because of that.

      Go Trax R1. We like them. The batteries that it comes with is a 7 amp hr battery. I’m considering buying a 10 amp hr battery. Tonya,s battery last a little longer than mine. I get about 15 miles on mine and the battery stars flashing. I think Tonyas will get 20 miles. I’m not sure if its how i’m goosing it or if my battery is got an issue holding a charge. Other than that we like them very good.

      @GlampReview 28 дней назад

      The bike rack I talk about in this video has not be men so great. It broke but the warranty and customer service were great. I might beed to make a video about it. We got a beefier one from the same company and its been better but it too is not perfect. Its hard to find a good bike rack made for RV’s. The back of an RV trailer has a ton of g forces and bike rack take a huge beating. If our replacement rack starts to fail next thing we are goign to do is get large totes and stare the foldup gotrax in those inside the camper and be done with it. But as for the bikes we love them. The batteries don’t go too long. Maybe it’s my driving habits too. I did find on Amazon after market ones with 14amp hr. So in theory those should run the bike for at least 30 to 40 miles more than your tail bone can take lol.

    By the way, the cabins, as part of the DVC is not selling well. Actually it's not selling well at all. The new resort being built next to trails end is going to be part of this resort. The campsites for now are actually pretty safe, only reason is because they make a lot of money off the sites. It's very low maintenance and they are not cheap. And you are right, based on current execs, the rv sites are not safe. But because it makes them money and it's low cost that may help them. Either way we will camp there they chance we get. Have our September Fort trip already set up. And we're using dvc rental website for next year and staying at Wilderness Lodge. Great video showing how great and amazing Fort Wilderness is.

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview Месяц назад

      I’m glad to hear that about the cabins. I never thought about that the campsites are easy to maintain unlike a cabin. This may be the saving grace. Plus its very popular so that will help to. I wonder where the construction of the 10 story resort will be next September?

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview Месяц назад

      September is a great time to visit. The crowds are very low and the campground is not that busy. The weekend locals come out on the weekends but its not to busy. Its hot in Florida then but Disney has ways to keep cool. The prices are the lowest of the entire year for resorts and the fort too. If you go during December the rates triple at the fort, we researched that. The same trip we did this time for 2 weeks cost the exact same as less than a week in December. Demand is what dictates prices at Disney and thats a prime example. Maybe I wont influence to many to go in September, LOL, to keep those prices down.

We got a new video coming out in a few months where we went to St. Andrews State park in Panama City Beach that may suit you better. Beach access there is enormous. But if you are talking about campsites have you not seen many campgrounds? They are all pretty tight with the exception of a few. But if you mean the beach access yea that could be sardines. While others like you may say that is not where I want to go. Therefore my video and maybe others on this campground just helped you. It saved you from a headache and a cuss. Because had you gone there and then find out it was packed like sardines it would have made you trip horrible. My intention in all my videos is to show folks - is this campground for me or not. They make pretty good money off the campsites and don't have to worry about building maintenance after someone leaves. I think it's here to stay. Where there is money is near the trails end quick service, they are building a new resort over there. Along with the new dvc cabins that's where they will make more money for DVC.

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview Месяц назад

      I’m glad to hear that! Rving is only going to get more popular as its growing. So the demand will only go higher which may mean we might have to work harder to get campsites lol.

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview Месяц назад

      I appreciate your optimism!!! You’re so right a lot of cost in upkeep in a building. A building takes way more money than a concrete pad to maintain. Hopefully the cabin loops they currently have will be enough. But if i was to say i think that loops 100 and 200 might go to cabins just because they have two model cabins in loop 200 now. It would be close to the up and coming Reflections DVC resort too. (What we believe is reflections who knows). I wanted to think maybe the tent pop-up sites on loop 2000 would go cabins but those site don’t have sewer from what I understand,so that would be a big infrastructure cost there.

      Ours came with 10 ply ridgeway sports. 🤦‍♂️ Thats what you saw blown up like that. We wanted to replace them with Sailun tires. We were in a quick hurry as we had another trip planned right after this and our tire shop we get tires from stoped dealing with Sailun. So they guaranteed us on ones that were jsut as good 14ply trailer king STR. Come to find out they are made in the same tire plant as saliun. They even look the same but with a different label. So far they have been great. They ride good too. The trailer is smoother but that could be from the warped tires we had. I mentioned to them the good year endurance but they said they had the trailer kings in stock and put them on everything and had zero complaints and even used them on their own RV’s. Now could that have been a sales game, i don’t know. So far i think we have about 3,000 miles or better and so far so good. Tires are staying unwarped 🤣 I’m still able to get my xchock in there.

      Camping world I have heard they do some things like that. We almost bought from them but they added on so many extra charges. That our payments were going to be 400 more than he quoted. We found a mom and pop style RV dealer in Chatsworth Ga. They put the out the door price on camper minus taxes. They did no extra fees at all. The only downside to that they don’t do a good walk through with you. They did not do a good cleanup before we got it wither. Camper was filthy but we ain’t afraid to clean ourselves. They didnt even go over the issues you could have with autolevel. They said yea you hit this button thats it. They also only had 40 pound of air in my tires. When i got home i saw it was suppose to have 80! So i guess those extra fees pay for a better walk through and trouble shooting. Bests me. I just know i got a better sales deal but at the cost I had to do a lot of research of problems etc after. But still better off.

      Thank you! I used in this video GoPro Hero 9, and 11. The 9 was used on the camper as the camper cam when driving. The 11 i used when driving around in the golf cart and when we do the talking. I used the 11 everywhere. I Also used a Blackmagic Design Cinema 6K. The really clear hi res shots were done with the Blackmagic. I used this some of the time like at the ranch. I limited the use if this because its to professional and heavy. All Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. Mics we used dji microphones made for content creators. The blackmagic camera I used a DJI Ronin RS2 gimbal. I’m probably going to make a video to show at the first of the year about the equipment I use and how I make it look good. We just got iPhone 15 pro max that makes some great video those phone will be in a video we made in the Smoky Mountains which will come out after the fort series is done. That iPhone 15 will be our most used in the future. Its small i can fit it in my pocket and i don’t look professional. My blackmagic camera makes some fantastic shots because it is a professional cinema camera but it looks professional too. It stands out and calls to much attention. Why you dont want to look pro? Becasue places like disney had rules about commercial videogrpahy. RUclips vlogging is not commercial so its ok to do what i did. But they dont know that so i had a manager of the ranch come to me ask me who i was and what i was doing. Had to explain the whole thing. He still seemed a little weird abou tit almost like he didnt believe me. So yea that camera looks like your making a movie 🤣. At the restaurant trails end at pioneer hall i had some again ask me who i was with that camera. when we just used the gorpo 11 never got one comment. I’ll mention that in my future video about eqipment used and why you don’t want to look like a pro. Also the Fort is now our favorite! We’ll be back again next year and i’ll make more on it!
