My family camped here when I was a child. I think it was called Travel L. We camped in a tent on the front row. No air conditioning back then 😅. We filled a bucket with water to dip our feet before entering the tent to remove the sand. Fun days. This was in the 70's.
Interesting bit of history! No air conditioning, wow! People were much stronger back in the 70’s! Modern conveniences have made wimps out of us up today 😂.

I cannot imagine camping at the beach with no air but I am sure as a kid you did not mind… just having fun! Making memories!
We are just weaker today. Tonya grew up with no central AC in hot Georgia. I tell her I cant imagine how she stood that.

Enjoyed your video. Looks like camp gulf and the area has a lot to offer. If you have dogs be sure to come prepared to clean their feet of sand before taking them back in the camper. Bring lots of wipes!
Good idea about wipes! Dipping dogs feet in a bucket of water could be messy. Wipes would be a better way for dogs! Thank for sharing!
