    To clarify an error on my part in the video. With further information it appears you can only take a boat to the Magic Kingdom from the Fort. The only time a bus is available is if the boats are not running due to bad weather of any kind. In the video I mentioned taking a late night boat ride to the Wilderness Lodge and then we had to take a bus back to the Fort because the boats were closed due to lightening in the area. So to be honest I really don't know if a bus is available later in the day, I read that it was but through further information I just don't know what to believe now, my apologies. 🙏 SO think this way Boat if its pretty, bus if its ugly. 😁Once a video is posted I can't edit the mistake out so again, apologies😃
    If you know any different please educate 😁

      Thanks! I got it set so that I can easily get to it from the truck bed without having to climb on top of it. Thanks for watching!! You have Ford mustang in your youtube handle name, love it! I’m a Ford guy!

    By the way, spot on with the site requests. We do the same thing. We also send a fax with loop and site requests and don't know if that still works but so far it's been good. We've always gotten a loop and site we like.

    Hey, I got to say you made backing in the "Grumpy" site look easy, like a Happy site.

      @GlampReview  6 дней назад +1

      Thank you! I was worried and from my point of view inside the truck, which i should of recorded, my site was pretty limiting. It seemed so much worse than it really was after looking at the camera footage. Tonya really helps, having her spot is a nerve saver! If that was grumpy site then happy site must be a walk in the park! Thank you for watching! 😁

      @@GlampReview what camera are you using to do your filming? Your videos are nice and clear. I've been trying to come up with something more reliable than the GoPro I'm using. It seems to run out of battery fast and some times it cuts off even being charged or connected to a charger.

      Funny you should ask. We are professional video creators which helps. I love talking this stuff. Be prepared for a novel here LOL:
      I was planning on making a video, not sure when yet, to talk about the equipment we use and how we use it. I am going to cover everything from Cameras, microphones, editing, & gimbals. We use a professional Cinema camera - Blackmagic Design Cinema 6K. Its one of the cameras we use for our business and we use it on our trips as well. The only issue with that camera - it looks way to professional. It does, however, make the extremely clear images you sometimes see but it catches to much attention! I'll talk about instances in this "new one day" video and how this can play against you. I only use it some of the time, it stands out to much and its heavy. Its the size of DSLR camera but a little larger and much heavier. I use a DJ Gimbal on it most of the time (gives that super smooth motion) but that adds even more attention. Its just better to blend in when filming and not look like your making a movie, LOL. We primarily use a GoPro 9 for the Camper Camera that shows the truck driving. I use a GoPro 11 for about everything else. We just got the 11 before the Summer Tour. On the occasion we have used an iPhone 8 (Which is not that great). We just got iPhone 15 Pro Max's which we will start using this week on a new trip we are on. The 15's seem to make great video images in tests, we'll see.
      Pro Tip:
      To get the GoPro 9 and 11 to look its best you need to set the camera to Flat color and the highest quality setting. Don't use the GoPro color, we use Flat. The only time to use the GoPro color is if you are not going to use editing software. The "Flat" mode is a semi professional cinematic mode (Our Blackmagic camera we set to flat color too). When your in pro editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro you then can edit the color which in turn makes the clarity much better. GoPro's internal coloring is over saturated and causes distortion and makes it appear less clear because it blurs the colors because its saturated. Looks great on small screens but when on a large TV its not so clear. But in "Flat" mode , this allows you to edit the color in the pro edit software like your suppose to. The 11 adds a 10 bit mode. The 10 bit allows for more color data in the editing software and adds even more clarity. The GoPro 9 is 8 bit. This is a measure of how much information is stored per pixel. The higher the bit number the better the image. Our Blackmagic pro camera is 12 bit. It ultimately comes down to sensor size. How big is the eye of the camera - in layman's terms. sorry that's probably to much info LOL.
      Last pro tips:
      Last thing about GoPro's is set the iso max low, say 400 and maybe stretch to 800. Anything over 800 the camera can not handle great. If you outside with lots of light set it to 200. This will add sharpness. If you let the ISO stay auto it will over blow things and make so much grainy noise mess in low light. Its better that the blacks stay black.
      Also don't set the sharpness on the camera. let it stay normal, to much sharpening adds noise too.
      Battery:
      The battery thing I get you on the GoPro. The camper camera battery I change at least once on a trip and leave it off until I want to record. Tonya controls that camera with her iPhone from the backseat of the truck while we are driving. For our new GoPro 11 - To combat this we got a "GoPro Hero 11 Black Creator addition" which comes with the media mod which allows for the DJI mics to connect to. But the best piece on this kit is the Volta handle. The Volta Handle is a battery as well as a handle and mini tripod. This internal battery will run the 11 for hours and hours. Then when the handle battery dies the cameras internal battery kicks in for additional run time. I have been able to record an entire day at Walt Disney world on just the handle and 1 internal battery on the 11! You can get the handle only "GoPro Volta" - search amazon for it. That's the best GoPro accessory that you can get! As long as your GoPro is not to old, Your GoPro must have a USB-C power port.
      Sorry for the probably more than you asked novel. Again I do plan on making a video about this in full detail later. I have had others ask me the same thing.

      @@GlampReview I've got to say that I truly.... truly appreciate the information and I think you guys are great. My wife and I are going through watching all your videos and we are wanting to move back to Georgia to be semi-retired. We want to be able to, for one be somewhere warmer year round and be able to travel to the parks and places we love easier. But again THANK YOU!!!! So much for responding and I may go on and get the new GoPro and adjust my settings to your directions on the one I currently have. I want to be able to share more videos but trying to work on our bus plus record and then find out the camera had shut down middle way is frustrating. We mostly put stuff out for friends or whoever may find something helpful. BTW I have a Silverado but your F250 is pretty dang sharp. Love the red. Y'all have a really nice setup. Thank you once more lol !!!

      Your welcome for the info! Thank you! Dig into the settings and try different settings and see what you think. The thing I always do with a new camera is try different scenarios and then settle on something I can trust. I will have to say our GoPro 11 has locked up on us a couple times, what we found was it did not like stating and stopping to quick. But other than that its been reliable once we figured the camera does not like starting then stop then immediately try starting again, sometimes it would lock it up and you would have to remove the battery to get it to respond. But after we figured the cause it never does that anymore. There was a couple times I missed out backup into a site because the camera locked up and you didn't know until it was over. The 9 has never had any issues. I think there up to Hero 13 now so I' m sure a lot has changed. Oh I did do a firmware update on my 11, that could of fixed that lock up issue, either way we start now and only stop when were done, no more start and stop quick.
      Thanks about the truck, we call her Big Red of course. I like Silverado's too I went with the F250 because in 2015 when I got it new the Silverado did not have as much power or torque but today they do. They both cost about the same I just went with the one that had more for the money. It so far has been a good truck.
      Appreciate the kind words! Your very welcome glad to help, if you ever have any questions let me know.

    My wife and I couldn't afford the golf cart rental for 14 days , so we used the bus system. That worked out great for us, we never waited over 5 minutes for a bus. I could of left the truck connected to the 5th wheel , (we never left the Wilderness ). I didn't however. And the Whoop De Doo Review was outstanding. There are hover a few seats that leave a bit to be desired. (as far as the view to the stage). But the cast comes out and gets together with a number of the audience guests. Thank You for a great video. And hope you have continued safe travels.

      Aewsome! Thank you again for watching and commenting. Yea the golf cart was an expense we saved ro afford it 😁 Next year we plan on just using our bikes and internal buses. A few days Tonya had to remote work at the camper so i met up with niece thats local and i used the internal buses to leave the cart for tonya. And i never waited more thn 5 min either. I felt it was quick! Next year we plan on doing the hoop dee doo musical review. It was sold out weeks before we went. Safe travels to you too!

    The more I watch you, the more I am deciding I would prefer a small travel trailer.

    • @GlampReview
      @GlampReview  13 дней назад +1

      Thank you for watching! I’m with you 🤣 I love the size when it comes to room, space, basement storage but the backing up can sometimes be a challenge for 40 feet. Fifth wheel to me is easier because you can almost have your truck 90 degrees where a travel trailer you can’t. This sometimes can help. You start to learn the more you mess up. I find it tougher for a bumper pull than a fifth wheel. For the most part I have gotten better. The more I back up the better I get. The smaller size would make it easier but you limit what you can carry. Tonya likes to take everything 😁. The more I tow it the better I get. Practice does make perfect here.

      @GlampReview  11 дней назад +1

      Thats funny right there! Good question!
      First Thank you for watching! And Thank You!
      Book as soon as you can! Don't hesitate, you only have to pay 200.00 up front and you can alway modify it.
      Not sure what a local Fort Wilderness pro would tell but this is what we found / did:
      We found times of the year that are almost a race to get would be Halloween and Christmas times. Halloween 2025 was already booked up on September 2024 this year! August and September seem to be the easiest to get which is why we went with September. September is also one of the least expensive times of the year too. Its hot and rains about every afternoon though, but it less crowded, and shorter lines. Always keep this in mind when it rains and your at a theme park - stay, people leave in flocks and makes the park less crowded when the rain clears out then it's less crowded! Afternoon rains will last less than an hour usually, unless a storm rolls in.
      We booked for this September 2024 trip in September 2023. But I tested to see if it still had spaces available for September 2024 in August 2024 and I was still able to get premium sites. The campground was relatively empty the two weeks in September we went which was nice! Weekends got a little busier with locals that do weekend trips, we found. We were able to extend our trip 4 days to make a full 2 weeks just 2 days before our last day to give you and idea of how less crowded it was. But September is middle of hurricane season which is probably one reason it's less crowded and least expensive, keep that in mind.
      When you book you only pay $200.00 to reserve then you can pay a little at a time though out the year until it's paid off and that makes it less of a blow - you feel it less. It just has to be paid in full 30 days before the first day of the trip. You can include how many park tickets you want and those options too and it bundles it all up in a package which is usually a pretty good deal. Follow the video on how to pick a site and what number to call for request for loops. Include a backup loop in case the one loop is booked up. I would call about as soon as you book. We called a few days before, but if you go at a busier time you may want to call as soon as you book.
      We Booked online :
      What we did - We went to this website disneyworld.disney.go.com/ then go to places to stay and select campground. Put in a date you would like to go - a check in and check out time. That way you can see if the time you want to go is available. Right now as of the typing of this you can only go as far as October 2025. If you want December / Christmas you need to keep an eye out. Setup an account on that website. They send out newsletters that will tell you when months become available for booking. If Christmas is your thing - As soon as December opens book then. I have heard December books up in one day, same for Halloween week and Thanksgiving week.
      We also researched for the less busy times of the year and that falls in August and the first of September. Particularly the week of labor day is historically the least crowded of the year. Last of September starts to grow crowds. It's still crowded all the time, but less during Aug. and Sept.. Those months are the least expensive too, December is twice the cost of September. We stayed for 2 weeks in September for the price of 1 week in December! When you go to that website you can verify costs as you play with dates.
      All of that is what we did in our research and booking., worked great for us.
      Hope that helps.

      I'm not a Fort Wilderness Pro / regular, wish I was, we are brand new to the Fort. I'm bound to maybe get one or two details wrong. Overall I think I had the important stuff correct so far???? I am only documenting our experience and what we learned. The only things I can think I had wrong was about the Magic Kingdom bus and the railroad history (for the sneak peak of the next episode). I pined a comment to the comments above about the Magic Kingdom bus. Through further digging - Magic Kingdom Bus may only be available during bad weather. Please read that pinned comment and let me know if that's correct?
      After he said "Just had a few things wrong", I started rechecking myself (It drove me crazy) after all I want to be right. The other thing I know I had wrong - The train ran for 6 years not 5. I have it correct in my next episode but misspoke on that voice over for the " on the next episode". Other than that I'm a loss as to what was wrong. Please
      @scottdepotter8262 let us know.
      Thanks again for watching!
