Just got into pgr a few weeks ago definitely over whelming I find I just click notification upgrades because to me, it’s not that deep. I just press the upgrade button. Would be nice if it was more presentable but they’ve already updated its UI multiple times to my knowledge, it’s a lost cause in terms of UI. Editing to add: You sold me on trying BrownDust 2 I’ll try it out. And limbus company is a game I’ll atleast try. I’m not interested in the characters but its premise sounds like fuckin fever dream.

Disagree on origins characters being the best characters. I think in terms of fully fleshed out characters that all had their own personalities and opinions that they stuck by, DA2 did really well. The best part of da2 imo was that at the end I believed those characters were friends. And not just "yea, I can give them a call" friends, but "let's meet up at the pub this friday" friends. Perhaps the better way to say it might be that I think da2 had the best character relationships. And to me, that made up for all the other shortcomings.

Nikke out done themselves with story, good voice and engaging ND yes being a degen lol... Snowbreak has a little bit of uniqueness that makes it feel really fun but the story is not engaging... in as you said am here to pew pew not read a Manga lol... and I do hope they see that to change that cause that's a huge factor in the story that needs to be adjusted. The gameplay is otherwise really nice.

I personally have no issue with sexy men and women in the game. It's akin to appreciating a good art and a bit of fantasy (maybe fetish if we're pushing it). At the end of the day, if someone crossed the line and turned unreal characters into their standards, it's them who get the less probability to find someone to date.

Im not talking about side pieces parading as full games or whatever. Then puts up punishing grey raven. Nah thats also a side piece trying to be a full game.

I REALLY hate gacha games. Resource mechanics tied to your credit card, many FOMO events, stamina system, and so on. Why the f people like this crap?

This is an amazing video and this should get the respect it deserves as an artist I feel like I should be allowed to draw what I like as long as its legal and one thing that plagues my mind is the fact that while I'm still a novice and by no means a professional but aware that sexualisation will eventually be an issue and I believe this is the best way to approach the subject and if I ever do run into this issue I'll be sure to link you video since more people need to see this.

I agree your thoughts on PGR, it's a good game and has good potential in my opinion, but the reason it didn't do so well compare to another game like it, honkai impact 3rd, is the complexity of the gear system, especially the memory system, for HI3, they have stigmata, 3 slot, you only need to get one copy and you are done, down side is you need to use paid resources to get them, for PGR you can exchange memory with farm-able resources, but there are 6 slots, and for each slot you need additional 2 memory with the same name or a universal memory chip for limit break, then above that you need hypertune to bring out it's max effect, for me that's really a exhausting process just to get one single character to full potential, same can be said with weapon, yet the story, world lore and character development isn't as good as HI3 in my opinion.

Great video. I think this easily applies to many other franchises as well that are or have lost their original identity. Another thing to consider is if the publisher/developer is doing it purposefully or unwittingly chasing trends. For instance, Square Enix is very clear in what they're trying to do with Final Fantasy that ostracizes long time fans. That's fine as new fans will enjoy it and old fans will just give them the middle finger because that's what they want. For Bioware, it just feels like they don't know what they're doing.

The game play reminds me of dragon age 2 10 years to make this game and I feel like it’s a step backwards don’t get me wrong I want to find out where the story goes BUT I’m a little disappointed I’m trying to reserve judgement until I actually play the game it’s just really hard to reserve

Snowbreak is adding voice acting for it's full story soon and also rewriting the first 10 chapters which most people say don't have as much impact and most should start paying attention to the story upon reaching chapter 11. The devs have not been shy about implementing what it's players ask for. At this time, there is minimal voice acting in the story mode for specific emotional scenes, but have only been in recent chapters.

I was about to rip you a new one for skimping on a proper Arknights section in the video. Had to refresh myself why you wanted to make this video by giving the intro another couple watches. Prasing a game for being a good Side-Game while wanting to be mindful of your time sounds two steps away from a oxymoron. Wouldn't it be better to then spend that time on games that you consider a Main-Game and have more fun with with less of the Pitfalls gacha games suffer under? Also, giving Nikki the crown for best and most diverse music over Arknights is twisting the knive a bit to far.

thats some bias shit for best waifu. Snowbreak has the best waifu because we do see proper character development especially from the girls. If u play the relationship stories u do see it and the main story does even though its bad but u do see it..

Snowbreak seem tempting, especially it's on Steam. But i already playing 4 other gacha games + spreading democracy and uni work so probably not gonna try anytime soon
