Eastern Germany 34 years after reunification [Documentary]
Germany's reunification was 34 years ago. Many of the problems of the former East Germany remain unsolved. Today eastern Germans feel like second-class citizens. The German federal state elections in the territory of the former East Germany show the popularity of two radical parties: the AfD and the BSW. Why are the Alternative for Germany and the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance so popular?
In this documentary on Germany we explain the origins of their support. Why do pro-Russian slogans still work in Germany? Where are the extreme views rooted? Can radicals take power in Germany? What influence do German radicals have on German policy? What role do refugees and migration policy in German have?...

Many people do not think of Russia as a colonial power. In the Russian Federation "internationalism" is used more than "colonialism". Do the nations and countries which formed part of Russia's empire, the Soviet empire or still form part of Russia's territory think of themselves as colonies? Kazakhstan is a prime example. It was first colonised by Russia before the First World War. Now, after 3...

After Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the German-Russian pipeline was destroyed in what is believed to be a sabotage attack. It is very difficult for some people to learn a foreign language just like some people are not good learning music or math or with symbols or memorization. There are at least nine different types of learning and no one can be good at more than a few. Elderly people especially cannot learn a new language easily. Yet, everyone should be able to communicate at a basic, simple minimum level to ask questions and make simple responses and be able to make themselves understood. I think showing some humility and some patience would go a long way for both sides to reach a workable solution.

Whith die Wende all factories closed so large parts of the population lost their jobs. At the same time non european imigrants entered for the first time and many communist symbols were taken down. There is no moment in history where people do not see a causation if imigrants enter while the economy collapses, how unfair one may think of it. If you combine that with destoying culture replasinh it by a 'superior' culture leads to radicalisation. That just keeps happening in hitory and should be prevented to keep peace and it should not be prevented by telling ordinary people they are stupid, which only heats up the fire.

This NGO is funded by Western governments in concert with billionaire contributers. There is no evidence that any of the EU/CIA backed candidates won. The real reason outfits, like this channel, want to destroy Belarus is that it still retains a socialist planned economy and is a friend of Russia. Both points being incompatible with a free-market, finance capital, anti-labor West.

Hahaha! Based on ALL of human history prior to the last 20-40 years, wanting to protect your homes, your people and your culture from foreign intrusion, military or otherwise, was NOT "radical". Oh no. What IS radical is intentionally destroying the countries of a particular region, the middle east, often with no strategic benefit to the aggressors, and then forcing the migrants into an otherwise homogenous country. It has NEVER worked for the populations involved. It ISN'T working now. And it only benefits those that designed it. Wanting a peaceful world for your progeny amongst people with similar interests and backgrounds and faith IS NOT RADICAL!!!!!

The only important thing is that you can trace the modern border of Kazakhstan since 1465 (15th century), when 2 khans Kerey and Zhanibek united different tribes and formed one state (khanate) called the Kazakh Khanate! In 15 century! And that is a fact. The Kazakhs consist and always consisted of 3 main tribes (the older in the south/southwest, the middle central/northern and the younger west/northwest). However, if you are not historians, If you are ordinary chauvinists, you can stop reading here. If you really read a lot and can tell the difference between the truth and the Soviet dumb manual, read everything down below. In the 1760s, when we weakened from constant attacks from the Dzungars (modern territory of Mongolia), we were forcibly annexed to the Russian Empire. Also in 1916-17 there were many uprisings. However, unfortunately, we lost this war, since all the opinion leaders, all literate people such as political scientists, philosophers, writers, Stalin tortured and then cruelly executed, and all their followers. Accordingly, when the Soviet power came, there were no people left who would go against the government. Mostly women and children. The Kazakhs had led a nomadic lifestyle all their lives and could always live in abundance. Each Kazakh family in those years had a fortune of several herds of cattle. But after the arrival of the Soviets, they forcibly took away everything they had and this affected every family. In those terrible times, while Hollywood was being formed in America and the "ringing 20s", more than 70% of the population died in the Kazakh steppe from an artificially created famine. The 30 that remained alive survived as best they could, ate grass, steppe mice, and there were cases of cannibalism. Horrible times that my great-grandmother told me about with tears in her eyes. And throughout the existence of the USSR, we were called the Kazakh Autonomous Soviet Republic. Our grandparents lived through hard times, Moscow used us as much as it could, 500 000 young Kazakhs gave their lives in the name of victory over Nazi Germany, and we were still called an autonomy. All the minerals were pumped out of our land for 70 years, rivers and lakes were drained (like the Aral Sea) to redirect water resources to other regions, and all this was on orders from Moscow. This is our history... In brief... Today we are experiencing a second wind, after all the troubles that happened to our grandparents. Today we are one of the fastest developing countries in the world!

10:30 Sorry, there was in East Germany not at all an equal treatment of women in the leading position as it was a commanding economy "CEO"s and Bosses are only the upper level of politicians. And there the situation of leadership women was same maybe even less equivalent than in west Germany. Only on "slavery levels" women have been allowed to go to work "equal". Even this so called "better social benefits" of Kitas and Kindergartens that allowed women to go twerk like men was only to get more money 💰🤑 into the bankrupt state of DDR. But it was an equalisation on the slavery level. This point is in my mind is a classical over romanisation, of the DDR had a better ethical society concerning women and sociallity. It's just a classic narrative and reframing of leftwing academia. Easy to believe, and is seems to explain so much. But please tell me how many Ministers have been women in DDR ? And please tell me names of leading women's of Bigg eastern companies like Mining, Car factory or chemical plants.? If you look you will not find social equalisation in society of DDR. You will find it only on working Ant's to get the bankrupt state running. In this case look at the data and don't ask people... The measurement error here is that all people that are in East Germany have benefited well from the DDR system and feared to go a away in the capitalism territory. So if you asked eadtern people and eastern social academics those will tell you the framing of the DDR. Best regards from Germany

This must be a Putinist channel, funded by him, because by 24 minutes, or near half way, nothing is accurate. It was posted 6 months ago, and made 1 year ago? Six 6 months ago this info was wildly outdated. It and mentions nothing about the HUGE Orc losses of approximately 1200+ men every day, for well over 6 months. There is nothing about the HUGE damage we know had already occurred 6 month ago on the Orc economy, which was closely approaching collapse when this was made. All in all it is badly flawed. They don't even tell us who these so-called experts are. And by 30 minutes there is no mention of what sanctions on Oligarchs had done to their resolve. I doubt I will continue watching. It's immigration, pretty simple, it happens all across Europe, but politicians refuse to listen. The kiling of jobs in the capitalist transition and the subsequent depopulation of small cities happened in Romania, as well, it still happens today, most young people leave their cities for the 3-4 big cities which pay well. The last 12 minutes were pure globalist propaganda. No, the fact that they have less immigrants doesn't mean they don't "know" many, it means that they've seen what a disaster it was everywhere else and they don't want the same fate for themselves.

Most Russian/Soviet Army soldiers in GDR during the occupation 1945-1990 (which was very real) were almost completely forbidden to have any contacts outside of their army barracks. Those few Germans who did have contacts were themselves soldiers in the East German "People's Army", as far as the command language was Russian. There were few poor Russian soldiers who tried to escape all this but without any chance. They were trapped in a secluded country just like the East Germans themselves, but the Russians did not know those details either. So the Soviet occupation remained somewhat "abstract" in memory. But, nobody likes any occupants.

Most East Germans learned Russian as a second langauge at school or went to the Soviet Union themselves during their time at school. So it is actually the west that does not know Russia very well, perhaps only from "US inspired" Hollywood movies...

Very informative from all points, great video. I will say I think the documentary downplays the hateful and violent side of the far right in Germany. The viral "Ausländer Raus, Ausländer Raus, Deutschland den Deutche, Ausländer Raus" that viral video they played, is mistranslated. The commentator says "Refugees out". The true translation is "foreigners". Foreigners out, Germans for Germany. That's some straight NS NZI ideal. The commentator also said that, "the agression is not toward the immigrants themselves but the system." I guarantee you in some of these small villages in the east, immigrants are being run out by the local villagers. The ideas you hear out of some of these villagers mouths regarding race and national identity is vile.
