Sugar cube off a yellow balloon at 125 yards. It's a challenge for Flat Broke Airgunner FB group. custom bottled, regulated Umarex Origin in 25 caliber shooting ZAN 30 grain slugs. Shoots them pretty well but I think it shoots the 33 grain ZAN slugs a little better. Going to try those at 150 yards or so next

This is my personal airgun shop/collection. everytime I post pictures of a specific airgun I get a few questions about all the airguns in the background. so I thought I would take a few minutes and show you all around a little. Sorry but none of them are for sale, just a modest collection of airguns that I've picked up over a few years.

Just a short video of my new AEA. I saw a video that showed that a popular bipod doesn't fit the rail under the forend but they do make one that clamps to the airtube. what I found and is a really nice surprise that I haven't seen mentioned in any videos is the tensioned barrel! That's huge for me as it uses the shroud to strengthen the barrel instead of the dreaded printed bands, if you cant t...

Would a notos regulator fit a origin
As far as I understand the Artemis pp750 has the same Barrel as your gun. Have you ever tried shooting light slugs with your gun? Currently my gun puts out around 10 FPE I'm going to try and get it to 14 FPE
@@surreallife777 its supposed to be made by the same factory so I would think it has the same barrel. Mine was putting out about 18 fpe and several others said the same thing. I know I adjusted the factory regulator up to around 2200 psi or a little more with a shim behind the hammer spring and got it up to 24 fpe with an 18 grain JSB. Tried a few different slugs in it with not so great power or accuracy. I think my best accuracy was with a 16 grain AirArms pellet at 18 fpe and did pretty well out to 100 yards. My friend Carl's did very well at 100 yards only with Crosman 14.3's. Not "benchrest" good but we hit a small tin can on a steel post with every shot from a sandbag. I'm thoroughly happy with that myself
@@kidpellet6544 Thank you 🙏
good video and info great job
Hello I like the work you did to gun do you do work for others
@@titogrant9654 I have done a little but not really trying to break into the airgun mods kinda stuff. Mostly just sharing what I've done to my personal stuff. Biggest thing is being liable for any HPA related accidents to airguns or parts I've made. Willing to help with advice anytime though and share my experience with whatever I can
Thats awesome
you are THE MOST redundant, slow talking, simpleton i have ever encountered but yes, this was helpful after bearing thru the slowest possible tutorial for this
I have mine turning out a 16 grain pellet at 980 fps
Great work. Would you consider making one to sell?
why couldn,t you have done all this with the bottle installed and save a few steps?
@@edgaralejandre1522 you could definitely do it that way. I explained a couple of the regulators in another video. One of them has a valve to close it off from the bottle so you wouldn't have to empty the bottle to lower the pressure. The other valve came with the very small volume test bottle so you don't waste a lot of air setting the reg. This small test bottle also works on paintball regs
Very nice!!!! While long, it was very informative... lots of time when I'm working on something and I'm doing research, like here, I like to see what to expect, as well as what not to if I meet resistance with a part. Plus you have a lot of very nice tidbits of advice in there, like handling the trigger assy, that could make a crucial difference in the process! Thanks!!! The only thing I might ask for are actual part numbers for the parts you acquired so I get the right stuff. hehe
88/90g CO2 Cylinder 3.2 oz. wall thickness is maybe an 1/8". Not 1/4". That's why he didn't show the drillin' nor the fillin'.
@@NockVrEasterEggs it is very close to 1/4 inch thick in the bottom as I stated in the video. Filled it several times before I made my PCP conversion but didn't make a video of filling it. Didn't think I needed to prove I did? Anyway, the drilling and tapping is in another video made around the same time on the channel
@@kidpellet6544 It probably is man. I was so sad when I broke through so fast. I have another that I need to try and tap so maybe I'll get 5/16s? heh! I'm thinking of filling the void with red lock tight or jb weld. edit: I remember now.! I was being a dick because the GB shirt. Cause that shits serious. So yeah... it probably WAS 3/32nds and you know it
petroleum = wd40= bad for o-rings - use ballistol
@@rudymsmith maybe don't submerge your airgun in WD-40? In 8 years of cleaning many airgun barrels I've never had a problem. But use Ballistol if you want. Certainly won't hurt either
Just chrony'd mine tonite. From a 3500psi fill to 2000. I get 38 usable shots down to 2000psi. 691-728 fps with JSB 15.9 its fave pellet. Why is everyone claiming just 21shots?
Watch this video and bought the notos, bottle, and the regulator. But can't get the regulator to hold air. I'm too dang frustrated and ready to go back to stock.
Any idea where its leaking from on the reg?
@kidpellet6544 it's leaking from the regulator, meets the block or the gun. Sorry I'm new to this.
@@jesseyang1904 did you get the regulator only or did you get the regulator and part "66" already fit together? Sounds like it's just the oring between the reg and part "66". I changed the oring out with one of another size on one of mine and it sealed up. Maybe that's all it takes to fix yours.
@kidpellet6544 I try 2 different orings and it still leaks. What size oring did you try?
@@jesseyang1904 I don't remember for sure. It was out of one of the harbor freight kits
some time the Chinese chop stick in wood are a great trick you can hammer it into the head of the Allen head and use it to start the screw in a pinch
long video are great especially for some one that doesn't know how to do it and want to lean short vids don't give you enough information lots missing 👍
I've noticed the hammer strike is loud on my Notos. Is there any way to get it quieter?
You could turn it down but I don't think its going to make much difference. Are you comparing it to another airgun or just loud in general?
It just seems loud, although I'm not comparing it to another airgun. Probably just the nature of the beast. Gun is right around 86-88 db when shooting. Is that normal?
@@theobserver9565 don't have a decibel meter but I think I've heard others mention it being in the 90 db range. Could also be that the hammer striking the valve is right in front of your nose. I have other airguns that have a quieter firing cycle but they are way heavier and the hammer is surrounded by a lot of metal in the receiver.
Ya I completely fucked mine up 😢
So you know that valve that holds in the air to the tank ? Do you need to loosen that to fill the tank ?
Where do you get after market barrel's
I picked up a few from Ebay
Thank you
Im completely new to this, but would Teflon not be sufficient enough for the threads? Instead of having to deal with "timing"
Teflon is most useful for tapered threads like pipe threads. Doesnt do as good a job on straight threads like these on the Notos. Not saying it couldn't be done but it would probably take a lot of tape and in the right place so that your still using enough threads to hold up to the high pressure
Mine does degass like that. I took the screw out no degassing
Do you have any idea how to service these regulator? My reg isn't working anymore, probably some o-ring that has blown. When I fill the bottle, the reg gauge shows the same pressure as the bottle gauge. I've opened it up but I can't find what is wrong inside the drop block. All the o-rings on the bolt look okay.
what is oring size at 16:41?
could you tell me the size of the oring on the thread when you remove the original cyliner
will this bottle conversion fit onto the Umarex Zelos?
I don't think so even though they are made by the same company. The Snowpeak M60B is the same gun as the Zelos and offered in 177 to 30 cal and the "B" is for bottle. Converting the Zelos may actually be more expensive
If I was install one of these on the Benjamin marauder pistol how do you secure it to the air tube?
You would need to make an adapter to thread thread into this block and slip in the airtube of the pistol and pin it in place or use screws. If you get the block that comes with the PCP valve you could use it in place of the pistol valve
Damn that little bottle holds a lot of
I got that aluminum one and it is not timed
Thank you Just finished Had some set backs and bought every product you showed Even though you told me so. I just put on the Canadians z valve I’m not sure why I was nervous it was easier than imagined I heard springs and was like oh shit I wish I had that Allen driver I got her done though Thank you
Cool man
@@kidpellet6544do I need to loosen the screw in the collar that blocks the tank I was just loosing it and it blew out …, wicked pissed My regulator pressure was sitting at 0 and the tank was in the green …,, please help
Where did you purchase the bolt on block? I really appreciate your videos. You have inspired me to do another project gun..
It is from Airgun Archery & Fun
@kidpellet6544 that's what I thought. I saw the block listed. Just didnt see anything saying it's bolt on.
@@richardrogers3567 I think it says it comes with "part #66" and is also for the PP750
Loosing is raising pressure and tightening is turning down
I’m so close to what you showed me After buying three different regulators
I searched for about 2 hrs and couldnt find any drop block/ hpa adapter specifically for the notos .Apparently the pp750 adapter is no longer available . I found a drop block adapter on ebay that looks similar but it comes in a long and a short version and i dont know which to get ? Any help/links would be greatly appreciated, thanks
There are no specific bottle adapters for the Notos. The gentleman at Airgun Archery & Fun was getting the part #66 from a vendor and matching them up to the Z-Valve found on Ali Express and selling them as a kit. Not sure if or when he would get them back in stock. There is a guy in the Notos FB group that does the conversion but needs the Notos in hand. Not sure if he can do it with only the part #66 off of your gun or not. If so that would be a lot cheaper than shipping the whole gun both ways
@@kidpellet6544 thanks for the reply
Very good informative videos sir 👍
Aea zeus .72 and this notos carbine are my only two I have and will need
You can just look through your rifle into a mirror and just rotate your scope till the vertical reticle line is going straight through the middle of your barrel.
That's how I did it before I found this
Beautiful work!👍👍👍👍👍
Simply outstanding details!👍
This is the gun I bought to tinker
It's a good base to work with for sure
You know that set screw you said don’t loose Ya, I lost it!
No way!
I just realized the Z block I got was leaking out the gauge glass the glass and rim got filed down by the regulator due to packing I got the aluminum Z block you got there but now I need a gauge and fill port that fits between the Tank and Z block I know I’m driving you nuts You got a link
That sucks. They can be a pain to match up but they are cheap. I think I got a few gauges from Amazon for like 5 bucks each
Great videos you're a smart cookie. My Artemis PP 750 should be arriving in the next week. I read a lot of posts and saw some videos on modifications. If I can get 15 FPE or maybe 20 FPE at most it would be good, but i would like to able to dial the power back to its normal 500 FPS if I eant more shots per fill which should be around 50. What 3 or 4 modifications do you recommend? One is to shorten the hammer stpring, the other is to adjust the regulator, and the other is to drill out some of the internals. What's your advice in terms of steps to take? Thanks
The other style in the beginning looks like you can just screw it on ,if you remove the barrel. Yes or no
Yes, it would screw on with the barrel removed. At about 8 minutes and 30 seconds I start talk about how that would work. No video of that particular install though
@@kidpellet6544 Ya I was confused I watched the whole video ,I remember seeing it in your hands , but being a single dad I probably missed it So i ordered that one . Then I watched the second half there and it’s the Canadian one . Which seems like more work except for the timing But could I use a stainless flat washer and o ring to try to keep straight? Or I can sand the washer down maybe
@@kidpellet6544 thank for a response
@@Wickedstickyflowers you could possibly use a washer and sand it until its timed right. If anything is going to give you a problem its getting the oring to seal. Could probably stack the orings or use a bigger one. The factory oring isn't going seal if the washer has to be very thick. Kind of minor problems in the airgun world lol
@@kidpellet6544 yes use a slightly larger o ring and stack them . You ever use gasket silicone
Do you have video of you installing the other style z block …
Great work! I like the finished product. That gun is going to be a shooter!
Can a bottle be added to a Hatsan Jet 2 ?
I'm sure. Maybe remove both air tubes, plug the top one and make an adapter for a bottle. Shouldn't be a huge project I wouldn't think.
Thanks for the Upload....really good stuff. Keep uploading more Vidoes....subscribed.
Could you please tell me what size the threads are on the valve side of the drop block. Thank you
I believe they are M16x1.0 but I'd have to double check
About how high can you go with foot pounds on this gun, say if you were to also replace the barrel for something longer and everything maxed out? Was doing some reading and it looks like FX regulates their .22 at 2200 psi or close to that.
I can get about 24 fpe out of the two I have. It wastes a lot of air so you could for sure get more power with a longer barrel. There's a guy on Ebay doing a plenum kit and an FX barrel for them. Not sure what his specs are for power but i would guess at least 30 fpe. Look for "c88 machining" on Ebay and maybe he has some info with it all.
