First of all, I want to thank you for a great video about turning Umarex Air Javel into a PCP arrow rifle. Inspired by those videos I printed, with a 3D printer, parts the upgrade version. As you can see in the gun you can use ready-made Mil Spec back stoks. The lower rail part has been removed from under the front support, then the pressure bottle can rotate into the 88g seat of the gun. (88g co2 adapter)
I have made a couple of adapters to use the Gauntlet setup. You can take the bottle adapter and bottle right off the Gauntlet and put it on my adapter. If you have a Gauntlet you want to borrow parts from then it works out great but if you have to buy the regulated bottle, drop block and my adapter its pretty close to the cost of the Air Sabre I think. Now you can drill and tap an empty 88/90 gram co2 and feather it to a regulated air source also. It's also the cheapest way to shoot it with co2, after you have a 20 lb co2 bottle.
Do u know anything about the umarex CO2 saver adapter as far as being used in the air javelin?? I was wondering if it allows me to leave the CO2 cartridge in the gun?? Or will it still cause seal damage...any help would be awesome.
The co2 saver is a one way valve that allows you to remove the co2 tank without loosing all the co2. As for the seals, the airguns that take 88/90 gram co2 tanks use a little different seal than the old school Crosmans did. It seals around the outside of the co2 tank instead of forcing the tank against the seal and smashing it over time. Its actually a pretty good improvement over the 12 gram co2 type seals found in many air pistols old and new
@@RawDogTV I leave mine in till its empty. The Javelin doesn't have a seal that can be crushed or deformed like the ones used with the little 12 gram co2
@@kidpellet6544 I ordered the Umarex adapter that holds two 12g cartridges. Is it safe to leave the c02 in there and store the gun? Sorry for the random questions, i don't wanna destroy the gun
@@RawDogTV you can leave them in the adapter and leave the adapter in the Javelin or take it out. It wont let the co2 out. However, the 12 gram co2 are cheap anyway so if you want to waste them after your done shooting its bot to big a deal really

Once again are you going to make and sell the drop adapters to use with the 13 CI Gauntlet bottles ?????
There are some videos on getting the regulator off. One of them the guy fabricated a tool to use. I took mine off but it did scratch the bottle some.

Its easy to take it off I use a oil filter loop clamp with a silicon rubber square for hot pans grips holds and dont mess the bottle 😉
I have the air saber and wanna get the javelin but not sure i want C02, whats your thoughts? Is this your making gonna be something you sale?

I don't blame you I'm interested in the Javelin sabre is too heavy and loud I wasn't keen on it

Just put shims in it and the reg will go up

I don't remember what the velocity was but it shoots a little slow.
Once I insert the c02 how long can I store the gun with it still inside?

Most find with hpa its slower fps than co2.
