Just found your channel and I find your content very inspiring. I was a full-time traveller from 2018-2022 and had just a backpack and a small suitcase but now I found a new home (luckily it was all furnished like yours and I didn't need to buy anything) but living here since almost 1,5 year I accumulated so much stuff again and Videos like this always remember me that I don't need that amount of things. But the problem is that on one hand I'm a minimalist and on the other I'm a bit of a prepper so I have a lot of extra food, medicine, hygiene stuff and so on.🤷🏼

what's crazy is that you could go even more light weight very easily if you really wanted/needed to! that book, the stuff on the keychain, the hairbrush, lots of things could be made smaller or cut out altogether or a smaller/lighter alternative exists

Hello Louise, i just discovered your channel and i want to say: thank you! You inspire me so much, you remind me how i used to live as a child. I always had like one pair of shoes i would wear until they were broken, one jacket etc and it was such an easy life. I was happy and content and all my things were dear to me. I aspire to declutter my life soo much and i am working on it every day.

thank you :) just some thoughts.. I think it is easier to clean and declutter if you are singel, if you are married you might be forced to have a little bit more patience ;) If you are singel it is easier to just get rid of things you do not want.

I find IKEA bags to be incredible quality for low prices. I have a fold up weekend bag, it was £5. I carry it in my handbag when I travel in case I need it.

I personally don’t wear a lot of socks.. I have 3 and wear bear foot shoes daily when out.

I really need to declutter my email, it's horrible! Sometimes I think about just making a new one... I need to be like you and spend a few hours deleting everything!

I deleted social media in 2020 and I really can't recommend it enough, especially instagram. But I still have a problem: sometimes I am quite bored. I don't drink alcohol or party, and then I find I am shopping and eating a lot more just because I am bored. What do you do to keep your mind occupied when you are not working?

Did you not have a lot of stuff in your life to begin with? I'm curious because I am an American and unfortunately have a lot of stuff because of the culture. But I am trying my best to declutter. I stopped buying things. I find it so hard to choose what to get rid of and what to keep. I have watched all your videos but I am curious if you can make another video going more into detail about how you got to so little and what/why you decided to keep the things you did. ❤ Thanks! This apartment is very cozy! I love the little kitchen, so cute. I live in New York City and I live in a small apartment also, but my building is much more old and dirty😳 haha

Amazing! I didn't know you can use the Dr Bronner's soap in your hair, I will definitely try this! Last time I travelled, I used a tote bag a little big bigger than this, kind of like a fake longchamp bag. It was a little more than I wanted to do but I was travelling in autumn! For my next summer trip I think I will be more like you with my kånken backpack!
