Maybe for the future... I also like to read and I used to take a book with me. Happened one time that I read it faster then travel so my partner at the time bought me kindle for a birthday. First I was hesitant because "book feel" is something you don't get with a device BUT, oh my, I can have more books with me in a tiny little kindle. It's also way lighter so the minimal travel is even lighter:) Just a thought ;)
Hello ! Yes the kindle seems to definitely be a good option to avoid carrying books! I will think about it when I will do my next big trip! (world tour, backpacking) 😄
Ditto on the ebook! I would recommend the Kobo brand over Kindle. My understanding is that you can't check out digital library books on Kindle outside of the US, but you can on Kobo. Kobo also has a much nicer interface, no ads on the main screen, and purchase options made from recycled materials. I made the switch 6 months ago and love mine. I was just in Miami for the first time last month and enjoyed the sunshine. Hope you had fun in the US!
I am so impressed. I have 3 trips this year. The only thing i would add for myself is more beauty products. I dont care for "what if" to pack. Also, you are right, i wear the same thing everyday on trips unless i need a dressy outfit. 🎉🎉
We say menstrual cups or period cups for reusable period products! And the luggage that you have to wait for is "checked" luggage :) hope you enjoy your trip!
Love this, great inspiration. I am flying home to visit family for a week, last time I was able to pack in a 45 liter bag. This time I’m shooting for a 30 liter bag. I wear mostly merino wool, not just when traveling. For sure it holds up well. Have a blast in Miami!!
Hey Leslie! Yeah definitely try the 30l bag and the key is to wear the heaviest clothes so you still have room in your bag! I wear merino wool on a daily basis too, it’s really comfy and convenient, don’t require much attention! 😌
I'm working towards having less "stuff" in my life and this is inspiring. I make my own soap and use it for face, body, and hair. And I make lipbalm that I use on my lips and eyebrows. I'm no where near this level of minimalism but little steps like this make me feel like I'm working towards it 😊
Nice video and useful tips! When I go hiking, I always take these two "just in case" items: a medical kit and a knife. I once hurt myself while walking and luckily a friend of mine had a medkit with him.
If you like the disposable camera you can also buy a very cheap second hand 35mm camera for the same look and a roll of 35mm film if you think you might want something similar again for a future trip. And they should be easy to resell if you don't want to keep it forever :) (You might already be familiar with this, but just in case!)
I got the Kodak Ektar H35 for about €40 (used) and you can take 72 pictures with a 36 pic film (H35 > H = half, they take half the space). Waiting for the developed pictures.
just found your channel… really like it… I’m gonna subscribe😀So its nice to be able to do with so little… hard but not impossible😀However what do you take for jewelry like a watch? earrings etc…. Do you take deodorant? do you take a cell phone?…. you didn’t specify how much underwear you take? do you take pijamas? makeup?hair accessories? can you do a more detailed video of packing…. thanks😀
Hey, thanks for subscribing and welcome! 🤗 My Jewelry is always on me (earring and necklace), yes I take my phone (I’m filming with it), and of course I take underwear for each day of my stay but didn’t seemed relevant to say haha but that’s it, if I don’t talk about it (makeup or pyjamas for example) it is simply because I didn’t took it 😄
Hey I did take my little purse I present it in my video in Miami part 1 if you want to check it out! I talk about what’s inside and for my passport I just put it in my purse (but not when I’m visiting the city) and I don’t take perfume or makeup when I’m travelling 🤗🩷
I want to pack a 30l backpack but am asrhmatic for longterm need xtra warm items and need atock of meds which are too expensive to buy as I go. How csn I get around all this?
Hello ! My dad needs his breathing machine to sleep so when we travel he always needs to take it and it is inconvenient but health is always a priority so you can’t really do ultra minimalism in this case, but you can be minimalist with what you bring with you (the every day stuff) ☺️
Very nice! So many "light" packers take a load of "just in case" articles, make-up, pillows and I don't know what, this is much more what I would call minimalist. Please clarify - you say you bought your own place at 21 and you have a mother-in-law but you seem to live alone with your dog in a rental place...? Also, if you raised €10K deposit in a year for your apartment it only cost €100K, in Paris?! Thanks.
Hello ! Yes I get it that it can be confusing haha! I bought my myself my apartment at 21 in Lille, north of France, not in Paris so it’s way less expensive to buy 😊 I live alone for now with my dog yes, my boyfriend and I don’t live together ☺️

Watching you, definitely made me think when I take my next trip or in life general. Thank You Louise! Keep up the good work and God Bless!👍🤙
Thank you for the nice comment! 😊
Travel light is the best way to go. Minimal worries. Your practice with English is good. Keep it up. 😊
Yes to minimal worries! Thank you 🙌
I would love the minimalist apartment tour one day! I just discovered your channel
Welcome!! Noted 😉

Everyone goes at its own pace ☺️ It is impressive that you are doing your own soap and lip balm 👏 ! Thank you for your comment ❤️
Hello from Oregon ! Have safe travels
Thank you 😄
New subscriber here. I hope you have an amazing trip to Miami. I've never been there so I look forward to seeing your vlogs. Peace 🕊️
Hello Amy, I’m really excited to be in Miami, I will definitely film there! thank you ☀️
beautiful. have a great sharing 💘💘🙏

Thank you! ☺️
Not sure if this is obvi, but can't go on plane with knife. Would have to check the bag, which is what L said she didn't want to do.
@@jewelrolli_77 I drive to hiking areas by car ;)
Just two bottoms for 2 weeks? That's really impressive
Really inspiring. Thank you for the video❤ Where you get the merinowool tops from?
I found them in « decathlon » it’s a French store, but the brand IceBreaker is really great for the clothes with merinos wool. Thank you so much ☺️

Hey! Thank you so much for the advice, I'm a beginner in cameras haha so that’s helpful!
@@louisefroideval You can definitely get some that are just the 'press a single button' ones, so should be as easy to use 👍:)

Hi ❤️ My trip was 15 days, yes that’s right ! I did 2 videos about this trip to Miami if you want to check it out 😉
I want to pack a 30l backpack but am asrhmatic for longterm need xtra warm items and need atock of meds which are too expensive to buy as I go. How csn I get around all this?

Hi what is the name of this backpack? Is it good for your back ? ❤❤
Hi! Idk my grandpa gave it to me in 2016, it’s a random trail backpack but I have an another great backpack I will do a video about it! ☺️
Can you show how you do your nails?
I need to keep my nails free from nail polish for my work. So I just use a nail clipper 😊
Would you be able to show how you shape them (:
@@lolmakeup5786 I cut them in a rounded way but I will show them in my next beauty video coming soon ☺️
What do You remove the sunscreen with ?
Just my soap 🧼
