I wonder, if minimalism is not the right thing for everyone. I discovered this way of life 12 years ago. Since then I simplified my life and I am grateful for it. But I am not a minimalist and could not imagine being one. For example: I can live with just one bagpack or suitcase for a while. It is possible. But do I enjoy it? No. And in the past I have gone a little too far and had to buy things again. So now I am more careful about what I get rid of. All that said, I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work. :)
Hello from Chicago! Speaking for myself, I know that living minimal living helps to streamline my daily routine, which in turn helps me to spend more time on meaningful activities and thoughts. Has your minimalist approach opened doors in life that you think may be closed otherwise? BTW, that oatmeal looked super duper!!
Hello ! Thank you for sharing! I think was is the most obvious door that minimalism has opened for me is the financial freedom : I have now very little desire to buy things or on subscriptions or whatever, so I’m able to save a lot and travel way more and by so treat the ones that I love. Haha thanks for the oatmeal it was really messy tho 😆
Messy, but I bet tasty oatmeal. : ) Yes! There's so much that we can do without in life and still be on a happy meaning filled enriched lovely path. I'm glad that you found that path for yourself early in life and care enough to share your experience with others. @@minimalou_yt
I agree with the message of this video and I'm glad to see people going against the wave of mainstream society...or at least America. BTW you are Gorgeous!
Nice video and very beautiful you 🎉 I like your point of view on the minimalism. I'm trying to transit too 😅 Do you have something for the frosty weather? For example I live in Russia and we have sooo cold 🥶 winter with snow and -30 C. So I and my fam need many winter clothes, hats, scarfs, boots. Also sport garment for all member of family - skis, skates, , bords ... Oh))) But I'm trying to use only we have and don't buy new ones. And give to charity something
What you are doing seems really good! You definitely need a lot of other clothes and stuff with cold weather but only buying what you need and really use it, it’s those simple things that matter most 😊
it's been just a month and i feel that i appreciate what i have more than before
Hi Louise. Excellent sharing and reflection on how to live a meaningful life with less.
