I use loose tea in a teapot and so it stays strong for 3 uses; I wear a nice backpack to keep my hands free. In it have small wallet, readers (glasses w/o prescription), phone and keys. For decades, I have no TV. I only use cloth napkins again for decades and never bought paper dinner napkins. I think it is healthy habit to watch my water bottle at least daily. I love taking a daily shower and prefer heat over wearing a lot of clothes in the house. My house is shoe free. I am a semi-professional artist but don't hang any of my paintings and have mostly bare walls mostly hanging scrolls from In China & Japan and Buddha statues from India. I wash plastic veggie bags and reuse them until they rip. I am not a minimalist per se, but I do not like clutter or being wasteful.
Thank you Céline for sharing your way of life! Really inspiring too. I never buy paper dinner napkins too and use the veggie bags until they rip off too. 😊
I turned minimalist, I haven't bought any new items apart from my van in the last 2 years. Although I didn't get rid of my things they're at my families garage. When my cloths rip or need winter cloths I get it from the garage
I would love to hear more about your transition into an ultra minimalist lifestyle! I'm a bit of a hoarder so while I'm getting better about not introducing new items into my life, it's hard for me to let go of things i already own
Great idea! Noted 😉 I really think the key is baby steps. I’m an ultra minimalist but I’m still declutterring and letting go of things and for some things it takes time and it is completely ok ☺️ Have a good day / night 🌸💜
I'm not an (ultra) minimalist but I try to be intentional with what I own. I also only carry a small bag with my phone, my earbuds, a small wallet, my keys and some tissues. Can't imagine carrying around a heavy bag every single day.

I wear compressions socks made with wool and love them for my office job since I sit for long periods they are also great for when I take my breaks and exercise! Wool is lovely and naturally odor resistant I can wear one pair for 3-4 days before washing. 😊
Heating is important for the bulding substance. Not only for your comfort. For example mold can grow easier if a building is not heated correctly. Most leases have a heating clause, where tenants are responsible for heating in an adequate manner and can face repercussion if damage occurs due to incorrect behaviour.
I recently learnt that a few ultra minimalists use only pasta bowls, instead of side plates, regular plates and bowls. I thought that was so coooooool! Even if you had 6, that's still the same as 2 people owning 2 of each. No awkward stacking in tight spaces either.

Taking a shower everyday is overrated. One, it really dries out your skin. Two, it gets rid of your healthy oils and friendly skin bacteria that helps you fight germs. Your “cat wash” is ideal. 100 years ago they used to have wash basins, like a fancy porcelain bowl and pitcher, and that standard was very cleanly and hygienic. There’s a great RUclips video about it.
I live in England and last year energy was so expensive I’d just warm up some water and take my hot water bottle with me everywhere 😅 it was honestly fine and I’ve saved so much money just by doing that
I really need to declutter my email, it's horrible! Sometimes I think about just making a new one... I need to be like you and spend a few hours deleting everything!

What a great video! I wish more people do what you do. I gave my TV away several years ago, as I felt it was a waste of time. I also don't have subscription of any kind. Like you, I wear the same pair of socks for several days, unless I go running. I have more kitchen dishes than you because I cook at least two dishes for each meal and sometime invite friends over for a meal. Good morning! You remind me of myself except I am 65. Your natural beauty shines. For many years I have surprised my friends by not having a refrigerator or stove/oven. They are both unnecessary, take up space, and harm the environment in multiple ways. Ty for posting!
Hi Anna! Thank you really much and a little tip for your declutter : start with one room / or only the clothing for example, take it step by step makes it way easier! Take care 💕✨
I don't understand how there are people who see your extreme way of life, I analyzed each point you said because you explained them with argument and frankly it all seems very sensible to me, and that the extremists are all the accumulators who don't even have space to store the things that continue buying. I wait for the moment when the planet forces us to see your way of life as something inevitable, we are leaving mountains and mountains of garbage, destroying everything because we find it very useful to change our telephone every year, our furniture every 5 years, our washing machine, cars... and that people who bathe daily and even take more than 15 minutes, know what it means to ration water because there is not even enough to drink in many places on the planet, it is shameful that it seems extreme to them to live consciously, and live without carrying a ton of things that destroy the future of those who remain. Thanks and congratulations
Thank you ☺️ My family are maximalist too and yes it can be difficult, it requires a lot patience and understanding to make them understand that they don’t need so much stuff, it is a long journey 😅

Hey Lucie! Yes I just use my little bag with me most of the time because there’s always drinks and food on set where I work! But usually I just take my waterbottle in my hand if I’m going on a walk for example. And I almost never use my laptop haha it’s always at my home! ☺️❤️
thank you for your interesting and nice videos! 😍sending you greetings from Sweden! are you studying swedish? 😊 I have just started to think about this about having less things.. and have started to give away things and throw away things. It is great!

@@minimalou_yt Thanks for the response. I have several questions. In the other video you didn't pack vitamins or sunscreen or any medicines. How do you deal with any sickness? Also, being a vegan, how difficult is it to plan your travel to certain countries?
@@aisubramanianI am not travelling into the desert. If I’m sick, I will go to a pharmacy 😊 And even while travelling I cook most of my meals at « home » so no problems about getting fresh fruits, veggies, rice and pasta all over the world 😊
Hello Louise, nice to hear about your choices. Your lifestyle. I agree with what you have said. One superficial question, do you use lip balm or lipstick? I use only simple only simple natural products .. thank you for sharing
You demonstrate how little is necessary to live on... and happily it seems to me... so often we spend for not being satisfied (instead we feel overhelmed).
Yes! And it is a process of understanding that if we don’t feel good we just need to take some time alone to figure things out instead of buying mindlessly new things, because it is a never ending circle 😌
Hi sweet lady🎉 I do not shower every day. It's so bad for my skin. When i travel, i pack minimalist. It's not as minimal as you🎉 My most things is makeup! 🤦♀️ Have a great day!
Hi!! Thanks for sharing, there is no « right amount » of minimalism, the most important is to be intentional with what we have ☀️ Have a good day/night too ❤️
Seems like you are romantizising scarcities of past hard times while at the same time condemning the behaviors that keep people safe, like having extra soap
I think it's kind of cheeky to talk about women carrying too much in their handbags while at that same time, asking to use one of the things that they are carrying in that handbag.
@@minimalou_yt If you want a tissue, get your own tissue. Carry your own tissue. Buy you own tissue. Weave your own tissue. Use a leaf. But don't ask the woman with the big bag for a tissue that she is carrrying in her big bag and then talk about how nice it is for you not to carry a big bag around with you.
@@Smithpolly You are completely out of my point. If I don’t carry something on me it’s because I do not need it. But it wouldn’t kill anyone if some day for example I hurt myself and ask for a tissue. On a daily basis I have my tissues on me, and I’m always happy to help if someone ask for one. It is called mutual aid. Again, you’re completely missing my point, I’m not blaming anyone for caring a big handbag, I’m just stating that I personally don’t want such a thing and I wouldn’t change that 😌
@@minimalou_yt You may not have said it directly, but you certainly gave a strong vibe of it being crazy for them to carry that much stuff. And frankly, you're right. It's kind of crazy that there are so many women going around with large , heavy "mutual aid" sacks while other people are carrying a light "mutual aid" tissue , if that.
Please show your minimalist wardrobe! Would love to see it since you’re an aspiring actress in Paris ❤️

thank you for your interesting and nice videos! 😍sending you greetings from Sweden! are you studying swedish? 😊 I have just started to think about this about having less things.. and have started to give away things and throw away things. It is great!
I’m learning swedish with the App Babbel yes 🙌 I adore Sweden and would love to be fluid in Swedish one day 🤞 That’s great, keep the good work coming 😌
And thank you for your comment ❤️
@@minimalou_yt jag bor i Värmland i Sverige :) önskar dej en fin dag! lycka till med studierna! 😍
Can you show us your small purses?
Yes will do! 😊
Very nice i achieve the same tipe of minimalist ❤
We call it a 'horse bath' here - midwest, USA.
Think cat bath may sound better!
Okay! Yes cat bath sounds cute indeed! 😃
Take me a cat bath, then a cat nap. 😊
How old are you? And how come you don't use sunscreen?
I’m 25 and I use sunscreen when O can’t wear a hat :)
If I’m sick, I will go to a pharmacy 😊
And even while travelling I cook most of my meals at « home » so no problems about getting fresh fruits, veggies, rice and pasta all over the world 😊
I enjoy listening to you ❤🇦🇺
What kind of glove do you wash yourself from the sink with? I am very interested, thank you.
Just a regular flannel ☺️
@@minimalou_yt Thank you.
if you don't have subscriptions, what do you do to listen to music? 😮
I listen to music on Spotify but I’m not paying for Spotify premium 😊
Hello Louise, nice to hear about your choices. Your lifestyle. I agree with what you have said. One superficial question, do you use lip balm or lipstick? I use only simple only simple natural products .. thank you for sharing
Hello! Yes I do use a lip balm, I will make a video about my beauty products soon. Thank you for the nice comment by the way ☺️
Enjoy your videos..thank you again.....
Whats better a metal bottle or a glass one?
The glass is recycled infinitely so I would say glass 😊
Use menstrual cup instead of tampons. Saves a lot of money, it is healthier and it is better for the environment.
Agreed 💯🙏
You demonstrate how little is necessary to live on... and happily it seems to me... so often we spend for not being satisfied (instead we feel overhelmed).
Yes! And it is a process of understanding that if we don’t feel good we just need to take some time alone to figure things out instead of buying mindlessly new things, because it is a never ending circle 😌
Oui, la toilette de chat!
You look like a young Fiona Apple (one of my favorites).
I think you mean "back-up products" instead of "baking products" xD
Yeppp
@@minimalou_yt hahaha, good to know. I was so confused when I read "baking products" in the chapters
All I can say is that you have a Mindful way of living ❤
Thank you ❤️
How do you stay thin? Is it genetics?
Diet 🥜🍏🥕🥦🥑
@@minimalou_yt great ,thanks
Hi sweet lady🎉 I do not shower every day. It's so bad for my skin. When i travel, i pack minimalist. It's not as minimal as you🎉 My most things is makeup! 🤦♀️ Have a great day!
Hi!! Thanks for sharing, there is no « right amount » of minimalism, the most important is to be intentional with what we have ☀️ Have a good day/night too ❤️
Hi! Have you always been a minimalist ?
Hi! Not at all! I explained everything in my video « how minimalism changed my life » ☺️
Oh ok thanks! I'm gonna check that :) @@minimalou_yt
New subscriber ❤. Much love from our channel 6breakingloose 🇨🇦
Hello and welcome ❤️
I wear two pair of socks a day, my feet stinks 🤮
Haha we are not equal in this subject!
Your minimalism is too extreme for me.
Ultra minimalism is not for everyone that’s for sure 😊
@@minimalou_yt True.
@@minimalou_yt I inspire to your level of minimalism, but it'd be far too hard for me! You must feel sooo light and free!! 🎉❤
For me, this "extremism" is great, we would be less harmful to the planet, unfortunately we want more comforts than necessary
I am 60 and working towards this. I’m so tired of stuff. I do love my laundry to smell
Delicious. lol
✨💖🙏👏🖐🙃👍🎉
Lycka till med svenskan!
Tack so myckett! 🫶🏼
Seems like you are romantizising scarcities of past hard times while at the same time condemning the behaviors that keep people safe, like having extra soap
I am not romantizising or condemning anything or anyone, I just share what I do and like, « live and let live » 😉
everyone understands from their own level of consciousness 😊 《live and let live 👏👏👏👏👏》
I think it's kind of cheeky to talk about women carrying too much in their handbags while at that same time, asking to use one of the things that they are carrying in that handbag.
Hello ! I’m not sure if I follow you here but everyone thinks differently on the subject and that’s ok 😉
Your minimalism not suitable for middle eastern families ahahaha
That’s for sure that it is not for everyone 😆
