Dear, The way you tell and explain things, and yes, the things you show on your devices is important and that is also a very nice contribution and also useful, but the way you tell, it is as if I can follow a film through your telling and even see the film, without actually seeing the film. That is very special, not everyone can do this. I also have a Rodecaster and a Rodecastes duo and other things like that and I use everything together and with each other, together with guitars and singing and flutes and piano, so I am also a bit at home in that and that makes it easy for me to follow what you show. But the way you tell is a nicer and bigger contribution to all this that you share.

Help!!! I have the ZOOM L-8 and was able to have a caller hear the music I was playing. Now I’m not able to do that. What am I missing?

September 2024. I just ordered a Vocaster Two at (an astonishing) 25% of its $300 release price. I was interested to see it came with the Hindenberg software, but the single track restrictions described mean that I won’t bother downloading & learning it, & I will just stick with Audacity.

Sorry if I’ve misunderstood, but my understanding currently is that this device will add the functionality that currently exists in a device like the Beringer flow 8 is that correct? I.e. with the Flow 8 there is not only a Bluetooth input, but also routing that you can choose to send the audio out of the interface in the main mix did I get that right? So if I understand correctly, this box has two potential inputs one is the USB and the other is the USB , And the switches allow you to control how it is routed to the XLR outputs. . . Did I get that right?

Excellent comparison! I'm deciding between the Zoom LiveTrak L8 vs Rodecaster Pro II and was hoping you could help me clarify something regarding the headphone monitor outs. I will be using either mixer as part of my band's "self monitoring" rig. Signal flow will be as follows: 3 individual 1/4" sends from 2 guitar 1 bass fx pedalboard ---> Livetrak 8/Rodecaster Pro II ---> 3 individual submix headphone outs ---> 3 individual stereo wireless IEM transmitter systems I've been reading a lot about how the Rodecaster has around 6ms of headphone monitoring latency, which I'm wary may affect the performance of my band members. Does the Livetrak L8 suffer from the same issue? Thanks!

I've tried this; the sound is coming from my laptop and is being displayed on the rode caster duo. The AirPods are also connected, but I can't get the sound to play out of the Airpods. Could you please help?

The voice processing in the RodeCaster is much better. I had the Wave 3 and yes, Wave Link offers a lot. Lots of sources, but all the voice processing has to be done with VST add-ons, which don't work properly if the VST files aren't in the right order. Believe me, it's a mess. For effects, you need extra software, in my case it was Voicemod which works well but unfortunately also with an audible delay. Then maybe the Elgato Deck for easier handling. And a bit of this and that. Now I have everything in one place for almost the same price And let's be honest, the RodeCaster Duo doesn't even take up much space. Rode's little stroke of genius

Can i use the video mic go 2 (USB connection) with the streamer X?

idk if its just new to me but i recently switched over to nt1 ss, from at2035. but i can say now that the at2035's noise rejection off axis coloration is much better than the nt1 ss. if you do have at2035, please make a comparison between nt1 ss and at2035 since they're almost at the same price range. thanks!!!

This was a FANTASTIC! video. It solved my confusion by explaining every aspect of routing that the people at RODE do not do. I am not an audio expert (more novice) and this video actually trained me with the details I needed to hear in order to understand how to use my Streamer X. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! Thanks for a great and informative video. Maybe you can help me stop the delay when broadcasting live on RP2 to Mixcloud. If the signal comes out live with both sound and image, then it is delayed by a few milliseconds, and when sitting with the headset on, it can drive you crazy. Think you can solve via RP2, or do you have to adjust something in OBS? Thank you in advance for your help.

I must be doing something wrong , when I try and record with my camera app , the audio sounds horrible

everything worked great but today when I used my air pods, there was no sound. Tried resetting, reconnecting, and nothing. They work fine with my iPhone but rodecaster, I can only hear chime when it connects. Anything else I can try?

Thank you! I was trying to sort how to bounce tracks with my L-8 and you helped me figure it out. Mix minus, stereo breakout cable from one of the “headphone” outputs into 2 channel pre and output to 7/8 line ins.

Is there a button to mute the speakers output on and off?
