This review and your earlier review comparing the SE DynaCaster DCM8 with the RE320 and 7B are exceptionally thorough and well presented. I purchased the DCM8 based partly on your earlier video and other reviews. I couldn't be happier. I've used the RE320 for several years, but it's a touch bright and I wanted to reduce the occasional sibilance that comes along with the RE320. The treble boost in the DCM3 and DCM6 is to my ears too much. If your voice has a tendency toward being sibilant and you want a high quality mic with a full body sound, the DCM8 is a worthy choice at a less expensive price point than the 7B or RE20.
These are hitting some really good price points, it's nice to see that the sound quality carried down into the cheaper price. Great coverage of the differences!
I personally love the DCM6 and think it is head and shoulders above most in its price range. (Paticularly the Podmic which I cannot stand.) That being said, having watch a lot of reviews, i think it may be very voice dependant. I have a deep voice and can sound very muddy on and SM7B or SM58. The topend clarity of the DCM6 is very usefuly. On others, it may sound thin. It's about use case.
Oh yes, thecDCM8 in any weather. I'd spend the extra buck and have my peace of mind there. ButcIbcan understand production studios, schools etc that need 5-10 mics so they'd probably go with these ogher two..

I've noticed significant more noise on the DCM3/6
