9 better.
i like the nine
What size weight do u like for the 4 inch and 5 inch I have the owner range roller
For most of the 4 inch baits the 3/32 with the 1/0 hook is money. For the 5 inch fish roller I use the same 3/32 ounce head. Moving up to the 5 inch drift fry I use the 1/8 with the 3/0 hook because of the bulk to the bait.
Check out my latest video because I give some important tips on the head. ruclips.net/video/BFmXkTzdrLA/видео.html

Works for me I use a cotton Cordell crankbait and a shad rap #5. In stumps when it hits stump stop it and let it rise they hit it then a lot! Biggest 9 pounder largemouth, lot of 5 pounders, I think big fish hang out there, keep catching em’ ! Good stuff, I’m going to try that Frittside! Thx 👍🥸🙏
My pleasure. You can really use any crankbait but the fritzside comes as a slow float. Iv caught alot of big bass and they usually are slower too react, thats what I think makes this technique so deadly on biggins.
Like fish arrow and hog farmer best! Like your perch technique, I’ve been painting crankbaits, need thinking about doing it to plastic bait ,found you just in time, I got the spike it makers just haven’t got the confidence to start, thx you showed me how! You the Devinchi ! lol I appreciate you sharing this juice! Keep the faith brother! 👍🥸🙏
Thanks for the comment, Im glad the videos resonated with you. That perch video did not do as well as it should but I promise you its absolutely fire. 🔥
Great technique, I finesse fish also and these small baits catch big fish! Thx! Keep the videos coming, I just found you on u tube! I’m 69 and retired and just want to fish! Hey I just saw that somewhere! lol! Keep catching em. And keep the faith brother! I just subscribed! 👍🥸🙏
Im glad you enjoyed the video. Congrats on the retirement! Thanks for the kind words much appreciated!
You can play video games at home
why does the anti ffs crowd care how people enjoy their time on the water? honest question
because I dont care how you fish, I love seeing people out there fishing having fun
I am 48 years old and the last video game console I owned was Nintendo in probably the late 80's. The video was about a specific color.
@@user-gj1uh3cm2z Unfortunately there alot of unhappy people out there these days. Its fun playing with your baits and having something the guy in the boat next to you does not. You 100% can use these lures fishing shallow and from the bank.
@@Ijustwanttofish2024 its very strange isnt it. reminds me a lot about politics, there is a very loud minority these days
I actually just used some small dice 🎲 to make my molds
Awesome. Good luck!
or.. hear me out.. cut small sections off of a senko.. it doesnt even have to be perfect..
Yeah I did that originally. My opinion it dosent work the same but you will get bit.
@@Ijustwanttofish2024 ok! i will try and make a proper mold and give a try to better made cube =) thanks
@@gabrielduarte3904 Let me know what you think.
dude , get a redbull. you are putting people to sleep with your borrrrrring ass
There awful
New sub here my friend, Thanks you so much
Great to hear, thank you.
They are absolutely fantastic. Look good cast well, great action , In expensive. All I throw now for big stripers the shad and trout patterns
I totally agree!
there is a company, four seven lures that makes the cue bomb, far cheaper and more effective. and they are available
Nice to know. Thanks for the info!
200$ for the GDW what in the hell 😂
lol thats not retail. i think they are retooling some things and will hopefully be available
@@Ijustwanttofish2024 I think I’ll settle with the ayu twitcher from megabass
@@nicktorres5540 You wont be disappointed with that.
Thanks a lot. Incredible
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback.
Do you use these set up’s for largemouth? Or just smallmouth
Definitely both largemouth and smallmouth. I won a $5000. 2 day tournament all smallmouth with the dream shot.
@@Ijustwanttofish2024 I see, I mainly fish largemouth here in NC, were those largemouths in the video?
@@pgm1970 Yes all largemouth.
What tourney did you fish
It was a two day with a club called 5 alive. About 130 members some real good sticks.
@@Ijustwanttofish2024 what won it?
@@gregc2621 It was around 16.5 per day for first and second they were really close. I had close to 15 per day so I was a bit off but still way happy. I had an area pretty much to myself fishing hard cover wich is my strength. They were fishing an area I went through at high tide and I knew it was the worst tide to go through there because I have fished it many times in the past. I never got bit and thats the tricky thing about tidal water, they may be there but you may be there at the wrong tide.
Great info
Thanks man! Appreciate the feedback.
I’ve got a drop shot knot you should try. You’ll never do a palomar again.
Ok nice. What is it called?
I have fished them side by side since march. The zman catches way more fish for me on most days. The blt is definitely packaged better
Thanks for the comment. Thats great for people to hear. I bought the one pack to do the review and I never fished with it because I didnt see the need to fix something that wasn't broke. Zman has always been great for me. I wish they used the clam shell but then the price would increase. Thanks again!
Great video
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback!
Good class thanks Oregon
Thanks so much. I'm glad you learned something.
the con to this test is, this is a cold water test and these baits will peform much different in higher temp water. you should retest them when the water hits at least 55. that water looks like its in the 30's lol.
The water was 50, but I see your point. Most people will start throwing these baits in 55-60 degree water so I was not that far off. Thanks for the comment!
@@Ijustwanttofish2024 looked colder, I start throwing them around 52 degrees or so, rising sun is soft enough to use in colder temps. Best of luck to you. PS 8" cullshad does not run well at all so far, maybe this summer that will change. rubber is to stiff imo. rolls all over the place right now. current temps being 55 to 60 depending on body of water in WA.
@@livewire2k4 Wow still cold there. Temps are finally getting close to 70 here. Best of luck!
Going g to give it a try. Had these for a while but haven’t thrown them. Looks like that was a mistake.
Yeah a couple people have said that. Put the trolling motor on high, cover water and throw it around shallow cover. Get around bluegill beds even better. There are certain docks bluegills will spawn behind or look for shallow coves.
I wouldn't expect a $7-$13 lure to perform as well as a $50-$100 bait. The nessie is ok for what it costs, one downside of the nessie is they put so much junk in it so you can hardly get a nail weight in it dead center, the internal harness and the plastic of the stabilizer fin take up to much room inside the actual bait. I would also say don't get the nessie5 because it doesn't like a slow steady retrieve, you can burn it then kill it to let it kick out or chop it like the others but it's so light it stays right under the surface and the body is so tiny that nail weights don't really fit well
Good breakdown. Thanks for the information.
Like your style!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I appreciate it!
Are you fishing the second setup with the weight completely pegged to the worm or allowing space for the weight to slide up to the bobber stopper? Thanks and you’ve gained a new subscriber here!!!
Thanks for subscribing! Yes the weight is completely pegged with a bobber stop. It comes through cover better if fully pegged.
So kinda curious what exactly do you use these baits for and how to you rig them ?
I have a video on that. ruclips.net/video/S13qewjN2Nk/видео.html
I almost bought one a few days ago. I ended up getting the dark sleeper instead.
Thats a good bait just used differently.
Great Video and advice!
Thanks. Appreciate the comment!
amazing video! you changed my finesse fishing, thought I was the only one using a 4000 size reel
Thats awesome to hear. My goal is to put videos out that make people better. I always use a 3000 or 4000 size reel. Iv tried the 2500 and the spools are too small for me and you can have some twisting issues on larger fish. The larger spool the further the cast and you have more control over the fish.
Are you using the 4.25 or 5 inch dream shot? Thanks
Im using the 4.25. The 5 inch can play in certain situations but it isnt magic like the smaller one.
Great video thanks Hit the like and subscribed, congrats on the $800
Thanks man I really appreciate it!
Dream shot catches absolutely everything. LMB, SMB, walleye, pike, crappie etc etc ..best drop shot worm , the xzone slammer is pretty decent too..but there’s just something about all strike king caffeine products - they’re great and get but. Caffeine shad, swim’n caffeine shad which is a paddle tail but throwing it weightlesss, on a 5/0 Mustad KVD grip pin keeper. Something about that very subtle paddle tail weightless on the fall gets hammered by BIG (3-5lb)smallmouth on my river they absolutely love the caffeine shad and dream shot probably because of the leeches and Logperch, goby..the strike king half shell does work too man.
!00% I agree with everything you said. I was actually catching bedding fish over the weekend with the half shell because it is smaller and easier to get a hook in them when they are just trying to move the bait around. Thanks for the comment, great info.
Good video. Subscribed
Awsome. Thanks for the comment.
🔥🔥🔥 Thanks for the great video because you gave extremely great details . I'm new to bass fishing. 🔥🔥🔥 i will be turning on my notification for your videos
Thats really awesome. I love hearing about people that are just starting out. These two techniques are right up your alley. Let me know how you make out.
Good luck down the road, go and catch yourself some big slabs and make some money
Thanks so much. Going to keep grinding.
It's like being able to micro glide or jerk a small finesse bait. Mojo Rigged finesse baits will work well when the Dropshot does not. It's a really natural looking fry presentation in comparison.
Yeah with out a doubt. I did a video a couple weeks back talking about split shotting baits. Its really so under utilized.

Thank you very much for the tips how often do you fish the potomac
I don't fish it as often as I'd like these days, but I used to fish it a few weeks per year. It's about 4 1/2 hours from me.

@@Ijustwanttofish2024 I saw one of your videos where you showed how to mix up the sent to soak your baits in do you still use that I do have the money to order everything yet but I am gonna try it
@@bigmikefishingchonicles9950 Heck yeah, I was using it today. I never throw a senko without it.
Hey…thanks for sharing your techniques. Always good to hear other’s confidence baits!! 🍻🍻
My pleasure. Thanks for the comment!
After four years, still learning the tidal waters of the Potomac. I've got the drop shot, swim jig, chatterbait, wacky, and buzz all figured out...but I'm going to try the power worm!!
It's killer on the Potomac. Keep it between us, lol.
Bend the hook up a little
Yes that would help. The one thing I forgot to go over is you can get a lot of reaction bites by knocking that thing into cover, dock posts, or dragging it over grass etc. It designed to be "weedless" the top fin covers the hook. I have messed around with bending the hook and even a little the point stick out. So that can work it depends on where you are fishing it. Glad you brought this up because I wanted to tell people to bang this lure into things, so I hope they read this.
Great tip for blue gill spawn. I'll be putting it to work tomorrow! Like the scent info too. The Nories scent seems hard to find outside of ebay. Do you just buy online? Any recommendations? Thanks and keep up great vedios.
Awesome! I'll be putting that gill to work today myself. Let me know how you make out. Every so often the hook up tackle will have the eco gear, but thats about it. Ebay is easy and prices are not bad.
Thanks for sharing the juice. I have one just used it once but that will change lol.
Throw it around bluegill beds and you will be buying more LOL.
Thanks man
