Abandoned Hospital Isolated on a Mountain: Found Operating Rooms!
In this episode I'm exploring the abandoned Mary McClellan Hospital in Upstate New York. Founded in 1923 by Edwin McClellan to improve local healthcare, the facility struggled with funding and ultimately closed for good in 2003. In this exploration I'll be focusing on several areas of the hospital I missed in my previous video; including the morgue, operating rooms, and fully stocked library. Let’s explore!

I live in crownsville/Annapolis I had a few soccer games at the big field in front of it when i was little. I didnt know anything about what actually happened there until recently. All i had heard was some kid on my youth soccer team telling me about how all the doctors killed the patients my whole family thought it was BS until i told them the full story. At 5:45, those look like X-Rays that just went bad for lack of a better word. I always love seeing those droopy fans from all the temperature changes at 8:10. Places like this always make me wish the programs I was in were abandoned. (alot of them def should be cuz they are awful) Anyways, I would love to explore something like this. It must be so exhilarating to get to walk through such complexity. Vermont needs the Brattleboro Retreat, but when/if that place ever gets abandoned, I will be one of the first to break in lol - btw to add, there is a Retreat Tower that is no longer used, and up for exploration, although inside entry/tours are only permitted certain times of year. There's also tunnels in the main building underground, they used for us residential kids years ago, but i dont think certain halls are being used anymore because they took the residential out a couple years back, so there is some stuff that literally just sits there, but there is stuff still on the land that is occupied and still like running so theres no way in. Some of the hallways were blocked off with cement even. Their school is also abandoned, they do have floors that are completely unused, due to staffing, and inability to meet maintenance codes and overall some financial issues. Just would love to get complete access if the whole place were abandoned. I know it pretty much inside out already, and its just incredible.
