Always enjoy your vids,Luke,,,bless you,,,I think you do an absolutely great job,,,and its always lovely to see your handsome face and watch you explore,,,if you can get more asylums well that would be good,,,you should try letchworth,,,
Notes on the video (I was a career Paramedic/Firefighter)… 1. The stainless steel patient table is used for minor surgery and also for pelvic and ob/gyn care. There is a surgical procedure tray stand to the right, and a dental procedure tower to the left. That is NOT a shock therapy setup. 2. The Xerox thing you thought was a printer is an early word processor/typewriter from the 80’s. Yes, I’m old enough to remember when these were in use. lol 3. Around 10 years ago, this property had a 24/7 security and NYSP patrol. I wanted to explore the grounds but couldn’t get permission, and would almost certainly have been caught trying. 🤷🏻♀️ 4. The red wires are for smoke detectors, hence their bright red color to comply with NFPA standards. 5. The thing on the floor with all the rollers was likely used for laundering all the patient sheets and bedding a long time ago. These things are generally only found in museums and antique shops today. 6. Those street lamps are very common throughout NY State. For some reason, New York had an obsession with them and they can be found on college campuses and state buildings. 😂 7. Those red bags are for general medical waste, not body parts. We had lots of these at work. 8. The room where you saw all the lab equipment was a pathology lab.
That’s a lot of awesome insight, thanks so much for the comment. We know for sure they had shock therapy here and it was a big part of the institution- so that’s where we were getting that idea from. I’ve heard up until semi recently that they’ve had crazy security here, and I honestly thought it would be worse with the current condition of the buildings. Yeahhh I had multiple people making fun of me for not getting that typewriter right 😂 Makes me happy to know those weren’t body bags, I’m new to the morgues so I really had no idea what it was. The morgue was beautiful, if the dog wasn’t there we totally would have spent more time there. Thanks for watching:) always love seeing your name come across the screen- I’ll be back in NY soon for good so look out for an email from me over the next month or two!!

Cool, somebody cleaned up the morgue and set it up all nice. Looks like they might actually start demoing though finally, sucks.
I’m interested to see if it’s still cleaned up nice, this being a few months back. Hopefully they keep their hands off of it
