When I hear Paul W speak like that, I hear that he is trying to put guilt on me. Yet, Romans 8:1 states There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I also know and believe Hebrews 9:22 which says: without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for sin! Jesus died on the cross and payed. For me the sin-debt that I owed! When hanging on the cross, He said “it is finished! He did it all! Believe! Our faith needs to be in what He did for us! We cannot add anything to His finished work on the cross. We are called to follow Him, and unless we do that(like the disciples did) we cannot call ourselves His followers. I know there are people who believe they are “chosen”. And yet, there is no change in the way they live. They have been taught that God does it all. He makes them His children and they “cannot “ respond. Where is their “faith “. We are called to love one another, yet they don’t know how. So sad! Let’s keep praying for God’s blessings and Grace to become visible to them. We are called to be God’s hands and feet. And we can only do that when we know who we are “in Christ”. Who does God say we are? He loves us, He prays for us, He blesses us, His promises are kept. Etc,etc. Check it out in your Bible. He is my life! Colossians 3:4. Is He yours? ❤

So is there ANY sort of confirmation we get or we can look for if we truly have believed? Or is it literally just a hope that we have type of thing?

This is interesting - but the question remains Why do two Christian’s who are both loving Godly lives and are kind and earnest and devoted to Bible study… Why do these two Christians come to different interpretations of the Bible? There is truth and error. And not all those who are obedient and who study come to the same conclusions. Example given in the question - pre and post trib. There is not a wide spread agreement here. Not to mention Calvinism and other doctrines that passionate dedicated Christians get caught up in. I’m still confused.

Because I understand salvation, and because I understand what this world is, there is no joy in my heart. There’s only the joy of knowing that after this life, I will be in eternity with the Lord other than that every day is a boring day just another day, watching the sun come toward me and then go away from me to come back to where it started from, yes everyone you don’t live on a planet that spins they lied to us and they get our tax hours through NASA NASA has been getting $50 million a day to steal from us. Saved means assured. But once forgiven always forgiven is eternal hope. "Saved" simply means: 'agreeing with God about our sin'. We agree that we have sinned and that Christ died on the cross for our forgiveness. Doubting our 'salvation' is futility. Believing that we are saved means we know we are saved.

Actually I know a lot of people who use OSAS as a blanket to cover their increased habitual sin. They think once they got dipped, they can do whatever they want now without any consequences. Its like they try to see how many sins they can cram into one day.🤷🏼‍♀️ I believe once saved you no longer want to sin, not now you can sin all you want.🤨 People believe what they want to believe. I know when I was saved I saw things differently, so I believed, and behaved differently. We all sin, we don't all do it without self reflection.

Yes!!! Everything else is deception, ego, and pride. The ship's captain throws out the rescue buoy to a person adrift at sea, the person grabbing onto the buoy is out of the sea onto the ship. The thing the person did was grab on by faith, trusting that to be saved out of the situation. All a Christian can do is trust in Christ in accordance to 1Cor.15:1-4; Eph.2:8,9 the same way.

Pastor, the good news was never to be preached to be believed it’s to be preached of the good news of what is true if it’s true and it’s from God it is a reality today we have to preach the good news because people do not believe in salvation, people that are religious believe in salvation, but not the good news it is the weirdest thing Pastor. It is so weird when I first heard the good news I didn’t contribute it to the Pastor for the person who gave the message. They gave the message because it is true giving the message because it is true you’re not leading anyone anywhere you’re giving them the truth, they see the truth they breast that the gospel is the good news. It is commanded by us to believe it. That’s it. Only coming to be saved last August through one of Ono's videos whilst being under ROYS to be saved for most of last year, this is something I still struggle with myself. I find myself praying or mediating on 2 Corinthians 10:5, and Romans 8:1 and 8:39. Something that helps me is accepting what God's word says, and not letting my thoughts or feelings condemn me but rather see what God has to say about me through His word. We are a new creation, we are dead to our sins, we are not justified by our flesh. The ROYS trauma is real, even after knowing the truth, so stand strong to anyone who suffers with this. God knows you, loves you and has sealed you until the day of redemption.

Yes, I have had religious OCD too, I have had fear of the "unpardonable sin". I now understand that this unpardonable sin is not possible in the Church Age, but some sources don't explain this. In addition, factors that can contribute to OCD include: 1. Understanding that the consequence of not being saved is actually being in a real place of torment. Some sources teach that Hell is "separation from God" or even just losing consciousness forever, so some may believe it's not really a big deal. But when you study the scripture, it does explain that those not saved can only go to the place prepared for the Devil and his angels. 2. Realizing that we are at the end of the Church Age and the Rapture is near. The prophesy is that after the Jews rejected Jesus as their messiah, He would turn to the Gentiles for 2,000 years, then rapture the Church and return to deal with the Jews. And we are at about that 2,000 year point now; prophesied world events are now happening. Many sources don't understand or explain the Rapture, don't explain how urgent the situation is. OCD is a medical condition where your brain does not process objective information correctly. So, yes, the same Bible that teaches items 1 and 2 above also teaches "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9). Then you can question what "Faith" is. Some sources, actually most, teach that you must do good thing(s) and/or refrain from doing bad thing(s) to have "faith". But no, if it's something you can boast about, in either in a positive or negative sense, it's not Faith, this is counterintuitive to most people. But if you believe the Gospel at one moment in time, you become sealed at that point, Ephesians 1:13. This Sealing provides "insurance" that if you are ever deceived or confused by other doctrines you remain saved. Also note Acts 10, the conversion of Cornelius, the first Gentile of the Church Age; Acts 10:43-44, Peter mentions that believing is equivalent to remission of sins, then Cornelius and friends were immediately saved. Peter did not mention that they needed to stop any sin(s). Even the work of water baptism was not required because they were already saved (verse 47). But yes, even knowing this, OCD can cause you to be afraid. But God won't hold any medical condition against you.

Hi. Pastor Jesse! I guess 2 Corinthians 12:9 is the verse for me. I have come down with an autoimmune disease that is called vasculitis where it causes inflammation in my veins. I am in ICU for 12 nights so far. I am making good progress and treatments are going in right direction. At first I didn't know if I was going to make it. I know I belong to the Lord, but was scared to leave my wife behind. I know it must be s reason God has allowed this to happen to me. I guess I needed to be humbled and brought to rock bottom so he can rebuild me! Thank-you for your ministry, and I would greatly appreciate your prayers from you and your church and everyone on this channel. I love you Pastor Jesse!

Jesus says in Luke 6:46 "why do you call me Lord, Lord but do not the things that I say?". Then in Mathew 7:21 He says "Not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter into heaven, but he who does the will of my father will enter...I will say to them I never knew you doers of iniquities". Works don't get you saved, but salvation brings forth fruit.

Question - what if you at one time really believed the Gospel, and over time you no longer believed the Gospel. Is such a thing possible?
