The "works" that I do is based on my gratitude to Jesus Christ for saving my soul from Hell. The Lord Jesus Christ has given me so much, that I am bursting with gratitude and look for ways to agape love others, known or unknown personally by me. Jesus Christ has forgiven me, therefore, I forgive others. Jesus Christ has loved me when I am unlovable, therefore, I love others who are unlovable. Jesus Christ has provided me with food due to giving me strength to work, so I give food to strengthen others so they can work and supply their creature needs. The Lord Jesus Christ has guided me to shelter I can afford, so, I help others to find shelter they can afford. The Lord Jesus Christ has enabled me to work so I can buy wise transportation, so, I help others to analyze pros and cons of available vehicles so that they can make a wise decision regarding purchasing wise transportation. The Lord Jesus Christ led me to job opportunities that turned into a good paying career, so I search the job market for openings and offer skill and experience matched job opportunities to others. The Lord Jesus Christ has enabled me to purchase wise transportation, so when I see a woman with children without transportation, l take them to their destination and ensure they can find a safe and wise way home, or take them home. I buy people shoes and appropriate clothes for job interviews, and to keep them comfortable and well against the weather. I give meals to those who stand at busy street corners asking for help because they are hungry and also give food and water to their pet dogs. I tell them about charities that supply shelter and beds and hot meals and that offer skills training for available job opportunities. All the while as I interact with people I do these "works" for, I tell them about the Lord Jesus Christ and all that He has and is doing for me and what He has promised to do for me in the future and that Christ Jesus will do the same for them if they call upon Him to save their souls from damnation by God's Grace through their faith in Jesus Christ alone due to His sacrifice in our place to reconcile us to God, the Heavenly Father. All they need to do is recognize that they have sinned against a Holy God, repent kof their sins, ask for forgiveness and give their life to Jesus Christ. I list the above because I am not sure that these are the kinds of things Jesus Christ will be looking for when we stand before Him at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Do any of these things qualify for the works Jesus Christ will be looking for in Christians when we stand before Him at the Judgment Seat of Christ ? I do so hope I have not lived my entire life in vain by not doing good works for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.😢

According to American Dictionary of the English Language Noah Webster 1828, the King James Bible has the word hell in it 54 times, 32 in Old and 22 in the New Testaments. NKJB has 19 in OT and 13 in NT. Modern bibles do not have the word hell in the Old Testament, around 12 times in the NT, but none in Acts, 2:27, 31, and zero in Revelation. There is no statement saying death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. Their disobedient act of adding to or taking from God's word which is forbidden by God in Revelation 22:18-19, has inspired some to say that there is Annialism, meaning the soul ceases to exist, hell is not eternal. Amen brother 🙏 I sent my comment even before watching your video, but I've seen some of your videos before and I know you're a Bible believer that teaches right Doctrine. I just got done watching it, good videos straight to the point short and sweet love it. Thank you brother, thank you Jesus! It's sad some of the false teachings about this subject that maybe scares people away when it comes to the preaching of repent of sins to be forgiven and to be saved and I think it really puts a huge stumbling block and is a hindrance to an unbeliever. To a lose unbelievers, that type of preaching leads them to believe that they have to give all this stuff up, stop sinning, and somehow be perfect in order to be saved. Repent of sins to be saved is nowhere in your bible. Jesus came to us when we were yet sinners. Repentance is turning towards God a change of heart and mind. Believing in what Christ did his death burial and resurrection, the gospel. Turning towards god with a repentant heart. The entire Gospel of John believe believe believe believe believe believe believe! people turn that term repentance into a whole nother doctrine of heresies. Only by God's grace are we saved through faith. I was in my darkest times in a jail cell in 1996. There was no sinner's prayer, only a Bunkie with a quiet spirit and a King James little pocket leatherback Bible. I can't even to this day tell you what was spoken but the word of God was God drew me the Holy Spirit showed up I was in the presence of the Lord without a doubt on my knees crying like a baby in the presence of the Lord so such a profound experience you can't even put it into words. I was an atheist before that. 5 minutes later, I was in the presence of the Lord, and I was saved that moment!!! because I believed God drew me, I cried out, up He showed up. The Prodigal Son was once in his father’s house, but left, and returned. If he left the place he was once in, Protestants would typically say “he was never in the place he left” but he left the place he was already in. Hebrews 20:26 tells us that those who sin willfully (in some translations deliberately) there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins. Key phrase, “No longer remains.” No longer remains means, well, exactly that. Something that once was, and is no longer.

Why then does Paul say “lest you failed the test and be a reprobate”? Does Paul not also say this about himself that he could fail the test and be a castaway (reprobate)? It seem like only someone in Christ could fail the test of genuine faith that obeys? Scripture says the unregenerate is cut off from God and without hope and spiritually dead so how could Paul be referring to someone never born again as failing the test? Why does Jesus tell all believers to bear fruit and prove to be a true disciple? It seems like these promises and the sheep Jesus says He will not lose are those believers who remain faithful and obedient and continue to abide in His word and love or else they will be removed from the vine. Paul teaches the same idea of Jesus that salvation regarding the soul being saved is not guaranteed but is a future inheritance to those believers who remain unblemished and continue in faithful obedience to Christ.

Faith is first because without faith no works exist.

But Jesus also said that not everyone who calls him ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but those who OBEY THE WILL OF HIS FATHER who is in heaven (Matthew ch 7 v 21). Also, how many times did Jesus and John the Baptist and the disciples / apostles tell people that they MUST repent !

It's not faith only, its obedience to His works and not our works, Jesus Christ himself said If the world decides to believe and be baptized they shall be saved and we are commanded if we become saved to teach every man everywhere to do all that Christ has commanded us, so many people keep saying it's not by our works which is only logical, what fool would think that we could work ourself to heaven without Christ?, once you become born again and enlightened to the Holy Scriptures it is the Lord's works that we must be doing, It is faith that brings you in and the obedience to the scriptures that maintain your salvation until the glorification of the Lord in judgment comes, And you better be found doing what the Lord is required of you, once you become born again you have a personal relationship with the Master and if you're not doing what the Master has been trying to tell you during your sanctification process you will be considered disobedient. I wish the self proclaimed teachers of the gospel would quit trying to make a theological obedience that we must March to, taking away our personal convictions to the scriptures we are reading through the power of the Holy Spirit.

I am a little late this viewing this video, but please allow me to tell any detractors on this video that this Pastor (BibleLine) is correct. I happen to attend a "charismatic" church, and this is one of the major things that makes me shake my head every time I hear it. God can speak EVERY language. Do you honestly think that if this (This manner of speaking in tongues) were true, that God doesn't have the ability to speak to us in a language that we could understand. This nonsense that Kenneth Copeland, and by extension every other person that spouts this gobbledygook from their face, is just a way to make themselves seem more important than they are.

How can people be so dumb. Tongues in the Bible means language you have to learn like Spanish if I speak English. You don't need a interpretation if the Holy spirit is speaking all people will hear it st the same time in there own language. Jesus told them when you travel to another land and you can't speak there language take someone who can interpret. Paul spoke several languages read about his life. No one in a church speaks gibberish and someone else explains. God doesn't play stupid games. Read a Bible don't just believe a preacher Copeland and the others twist the Bible and count on you not knowing better.
