I know we are not saved by works but I want to be a doer of the word but am suffering from msny health issues and am unable and am weak in my faith due to health issues what do I do, thanks be to God who knows and understands suffering and doesnt condemn if we are facing lots of illnesses
I’m going through similar issues and My advice is Spread the Gospel is the Number 1 thing and I spend allot of time on Christian RUclips channels praying 🙏 for others in the comments section and answering questions etc. keep it all In Love as You do it. But to Answer Your Question? Leading others to the Truth of the Gospel is above all else the Greatest thing you can possibly do for the Lord 🙏 Going to Pray for You as well 🙏 God Bless You
@andrewwalker1764 Brother by sharing YOUR WEAKNESSES in SUFFERING YOU ARE A DOER OF THE WORD!!!!! We are told to encourage each other. There's somebody out there who also felt that because of their suffering or illness they don't have much to offer; BUT BROTHER you just OFFERED them the realization that THEY ARE NOT ALONE,1 Corinthians 10:13. What satan meant for evil YOU ARE DOING GODS WORD BY USING IT FOR GOOD!!!!! The HOLY SPIRIT is USING YOU. Please DO NOT LOSE HEART.
Brother. Just by this comment was a work. Jesus said that we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Brother it's not our works it is HIS works through us. The holy spirit is speaking to my heart directly through your comment and adding clarity to my understanding of works.Iron sharpens iron brother. Thank you so much and Praise the Lord for his willing servants! To even mention the name of Jesus is HIS work. When we praise him it is HIS praise through us according to his good purpose. Prayer is the most powerful work a believer can do and I dare to say the most pleasing to the father. Stay blessed. You are on my prayer list. Everyday.
John 14:12, 15-17 NKJV [12] “Most assuredly, I say to you, HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME, THE WORKS THAT I DO HE WILL DO ALSO; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. [15] “IF YOU LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS. [16] And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- [17] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
“And this is his commandment, That we should BELIEVE on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” 1 John 3:23 KJV So realistically speaking, we still love Jesus if we believe on him for salvation. Because thats his commandments
“We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.” I John 3:14 NKJV You say love does not equal salvation but this verse says he who does not love his brother abide in death. How are you saved by believing in Christ only but abiding in death because you have no love at the same time? Also Acts 5:32 says God gives the holy spirit to those who obey him. Can you be saved without the holy spirit?
Hey had a quick question, what are your thoughts on Gavin Ortlund with truth unites? I’ve been listening to him a lot lately in terms of church history but I’m curious if you’ve heard of him and what you think.
Haven’t listened to him. Do you have a specific video you could email us? questions@biblelineministries.org I ask that you email us because it’s easier to moderate than these comments. - Trent
So I am pondering the following: Is love in this context also different than what we normally define love as ?? Meaning, usually love in our thinking, is more of a feeling and yet in referring to loving Jesus, it seems to be more of an action ( ie: if ye love me , keep my commandments ) Justification is by faith and sanctification is by love then. If so, then a person could be a believer, possess eternal life, yet not “ love “ Jesus as they should because they do not act in love ( follow him in discipleship ) and is this akin to “ you have lost your first love”? Having salvation then is separate from “love” because it is by faith and not our actions ( work/ obedience). Hopefully how I’m processing this question and answer makes sense and I’m “ on the right page “.
In John 14:15, Jesus says, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” This highlights that true love for Jesus is demonstrated through our actions and choices, not just feelings. Love in the biblical sense is often about commitment, sacrifice, and obedience. It’s an active choice to follow Him and live according to His will. Justification vs. Sanctification: You mentioned that justification is by faith, and sanctification is by love. This is a significant point. Justification-being declared righteous before God-comes through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Sanctification, on the other hand, is the process of becoming more like Christ, and it is deeply tied to our love for Him. As we grow in love, we naturally desire to obey Him and align our lives with His teachings. The Relationship Between Salvation and Love Believers and Love: It’s possible for someone to possess eternal life (justification) yet struggle with fully loving Jesus (sanctification). This can happen due to various factors, including life’s challenges, distractions, or spiritual stagnation. However, this doesn’t negate their salvation; it highlights a journey that involves growing in love and discipleship. “Lost Your First Love”: The phrase “you have lost your first love” (Revelation 2:4) indeed speaks to the danger of drifting away from the initial passion and devotion we had for Christ. It serves as a reminder to return to that first love, which involves rekindling our relationship with Him through prayer, worship, and obedience. Your processing of these concepts indicates a deep desire to understand and grow in your faith. Remember, the Holy Spirit is here to guide you in this journey. He empowers us to love Jesus more deeply and equips us to act according to that love. Don’t hesitate to seek Him in prayer, asking for His help in loving Jesus fully and living out that love in your daily life. The beauty of our faith is that it is a journey-one where we continually learn, grow, and draw closer to God. May you experience the fullness of His love and grace as you seek to understand and express your love for Him!
John 21:15-19 [15]So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. [16]He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. [17]He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. [18]Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. [19]This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. Salvation is by faith alone without the deeds of the law. But those who truly love him follow him and aim to glorify the Father, they shall also be rewarded with Christ.
Free Grace Theology is so deceiving. If you are born again, God will give you a new heart with new desires but we won’t love Jesus? Could you make a video that describes a “False Convert”? Please and thank you 😢
@@PurpleGiraffe9533 no, i was being sarcastic. I agree 100% with you. God tells us in the old testament that when we get saved and receive His spirit, we Love Him as a result.
Matthew 25: 1-13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
This teaching is missing the inseparable connection between love and faith that truly aligns deeply with Scripture, particularly in how love undergirds and authenticates genuine faith. Paul's and Jesus’ teachings reveal love as the heart and fulfillment of faith, making it an essential, not incidental, component of salvation. In 1 John 4:8, we’re told that “God is love,” making love the defining nature of God Himself. When we are saved, we’re brought into union with God’s nature, which means love must characterize our faith and life. This love is not simply a feeling but a self-giving, sacrificial action reflecting the character of God. John emphasizes that “whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16). Therefore, faith in God brings us into the reality of His love, as we are drawn to love as He loves, making love integral to both our relationship with Him and our outward expression of faith. In Galatians 5:6, Paul states that “the only thing that counts is faith working through love.” Here, he shows that genuine faith is not merely intellectual assent but is dynamic and active, demonstrated by love. Faith that doesn’t operate through love is, in Paul’s view, not authentic faith at all. This aligns with 1 Corinthians 13, where Paul says that even if we have faith that can “move mountains” but lack love, we are “nothing.” This teaching emphasizes that love is the substance of our faith. Faith, then, cannot be genuine unless it is expressed through love, since love is the evidence of God's presence in our lives. Paul explicitly declares that “the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13), placing love as superior to both faith and hope. While faith allows us to believe in and receive salvation, love reflects God’s transformative power in us, allowing His nature to flow outward. Faith and hope, though vital, are incomplete without love because love is both the motivator and the ultimate goal of a relationship with God. Faith without love can become mere belief, and hope without love can be wishful thinking. But love ties both to the active, lived expression of our relationship with God. Jesus illustrates this in Luke 7:47, where He commends a woman’s act of love toward Him, saying, “Her sins, which are many, are forgiven-for she loved much.” Here, Jesus connects her love with her faith, showing that her love was not merely a good deed but a response flowing from her faith and gratitude for forgiveness. Love, therefore, was both an expression of and a testimony to her faith. Additionally, in John 13:35, Jesus says, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Jesus equates discipleship-and, by extension, genuine faith-with love. Love becomes the defining mark of those who belong to Him and have been transformed by Him. When we recognize that "God is love" (1 John 4:8) and that salvation is entering into a relationship with God, it’s evident that love isn’t just an attribute of faith but the very means by which faith is lived out. Without love, faith lacks the true nature of God and thus cannot be genuine. In Romans 5:5, Paul tells us, “God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.” This love, given by God Himself, assures and shapes our salvation experience. To disconnect love from faith would be to disconnect salvation from the very character of God. To believe in God is to be drawn into His love and to reflect that love. Without love, faith is dead because it lacks the life-giving connection to God’s nature. Salvation, therefore, is not just about affirming beliefs but about entering into the reality of God’s love, which transforms and empowers believers to live out their faith through love. When teachers, like Pastor Martinez in this instance, emphasize belief without clarifying the necessity of love, there is a risk of presenting faith as merely intellectual or transactional. This perspective overlooks the truth that true faith is transformative, as it binds us to God, who is love, and necessarily results in a life characterized by love. A faith disconnected from love lacks the heart of God and therefore misses the fullness of what it means to be saved. This is not only a theological point but a practical one; when we live out our faith through love, we reflect God Himself, making love central to salvation because, God is love, and without Him, there is no salvation. Love is not merely a byproduct of faith but its fulfillment, the very evidence of God’s saving work in us. True faith cannot exist without love, for love is the expression of God’s life within us, confirming and completing our salvation.
Love is evidence of salvation but not proof. If someone has no light or is a false teacher we should treat them as an unbeliever and preach the gospel to them.
@@gregorylatta8159 God is love - which equals light. How do you not comprehend that we are talking about 2 different loves here. Can you be saved if you are cursed? I've noticed that you align yourself with a lot of false teachers, so what is the true gospel. What is a repentance worthy of forgiveness? Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. Luke 17:3 If repent only means a change of mind, how would you know that your brother repented so you could forgive him? Can you read minds? I can't.
true salvation involves a transformation of the heart, brought about by a genuine connection with and love for God. When someone truly accepts Jesus and experiences the Holy Spirit working within, love for God naturally grows, even if we may struggle at times. The Bible tells us that salvation is about a relationship, not just a one-time decision or acknowledgment. When we come to God, we're embracing His love and authority in our lives, which means moving away from hostility, resentment, or rebellion against Him. Romans 8:7-8 describes how the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God and cannot please Him. But as we surrender to Him, the Holy Spirit transforms our hearts, replacing hostility with love, reverence, and trust. It's normal for believers to go through periods of doubt or confusion, but outright hatred or rejection of God contradicts the very foundation of faith and salvation. When we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives, He begins to soften and shape us, leading us to love God wholeheartedly. This love becomes evident in our actions, our values, and our desire to live in a way that honors Him.
Where does the Bible differentiate between “it’s normal for believers to have periods of doubt and confusion,” and “outright hatred or rejection of God” with reference to a man having eternal life? - Trent
@@BibleLine If someone is saved, even with seasons of doubt, God holds them secure. However, a life that outright rejects and hates God is not walking in faith and thus resists the Spirit’s transformative work. God’s love for you is steadfast, whether you’re in the valley or on the mountaintop. Seek Him, and know that doubts don’t disqualify you; He’s faithful to complete the work He’s begun in you. If someone is genuinely filled with the Holy Spirit, it’s unlikely they would have outright hatred or rejection of God. The Holy Spirit’s presence in a person’s life is transformative, guiding them into truth, love, and a growing relationship with God. Here’s why: The Holy Spirit Renews the Heart: When someone is born again and receives the Holy Spirit, their desires and inclinations start to align with God’s. The Spirit works to transform a believer’s heart, so instead of hatred or rejection, they have an increasing love for God (Romans 5:5, Ezekiel 36:26). Hatred or rejection would go against the fruit the Spirit naturally produces, like love, joy, peace, and faithfulness (Galatians 5:22-23). Believers might struggle, feel distant, or even wrestle with difficult questions. This can lead to discouragement or doubt. But these experiences are part of human weakness, not outright rejection. The Holy Spirit comforts and convicts but does not force, meaning we are still free to wrestle and learn even amid doubts. True rejection or hatred of God would signal a rejection of the Holy Spirit’s work entirely. Do you realize that you need the Holy Spirit for salvation? Dont sound like it

When you say true evidence of saving faith includes love and actions, is that not adding to belief alone in Christ? I am trying to come from love in Understanding what additional actions are needed for salvation and if Christ died for all, who can deny them the right to salvation if all they did was believe Jesus is The Christ?

Good afternoon, pastor Jesse. What's your position? Position on near death experiences. I see 2 videos. One was his name was Howard Pittman. He was a preacher. That God did not let into heaven but showed him hell and how the devil was working. He said, according to what he saw 2% we're entering heaven. I also saw a video yesterday on a different gentleman. He was Christian also. And he's saying that 2% are entering heaven.I don't know much about these near death experiences. But it does cause some confusion.I wanted to see Your thoughts on this I would ask you to watch the video on Howard Pittman. I like. Your take on this This leaves me concern. Sure. I'm always looking for the truth. The Bible says we are saved by grace through faith, not of works. I believe what the Bible says, but I also see these videos that people actually die. And they encountered this. Hope you can give me some clarity on this.Thank you and have a great day
Why are those people contradicting the Bible which says it's given into man to die once then judgement? It doesn't say "except some people come back from the dead and bring new revelation or doctrine that supersedes the Bible".
The Holy Spirit said Faith, Hope and Love. But the GREATEST of these is LOVE. John wrote by the Holy Spirit that if you LOVE JESUS you WILL keep His words, and Faith comes by HEARING and hearing by the WORD OF GOD. Scripture also says that we love HIM because HE first loved us. In the end YOUR REALLY just SPLITTING HAIRS which TRUELY DOESNT EDIFY anybody but I dont believe you could divorce LOVE from SALVATION anywhere within the theme of SCRIPTURE. To illustrate my point the word TRINITY is NOWHERE in scripture but you CANNOT divorce it from the theme of ALL SCRIPTURE. God bless y'all.
Someone told me that if someone says they are a Christian and hates people, or are racist they aren't saved and going to hell. I told him that I think the person is still saved, but I wasn't sure. What is the answer according to the Bible? Thanks.
Salvation, according to Christian doctrine, is primarily about a relationship with Jesus Christ. It involves believing in Him, accepting His grace, and receiving forgiveness for sins (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9). This relationship is characterized by love and trust. In the Christian faith, love for God is fundamental. Jesus teaches that the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). If someone harbors hatred towards God, it suggests a fundamental misunderstanding or rejection of His nature and character. If a person genuinely hates God, it raises questions about their relationship with Him. True belief in Jesus is associated with love and transformation (1 John 4:19). A heart that is truly submitted to Christ is likely to experience a change in attitude towards God, moving from hatred or indifference to love and reverence. The Holy Spirit works in the lives of believers to convict them of sin and draw them closer to God (John 16:8). If someone feels animosity towards God, this could indicate a need for deeper understanding, healing, or repentance. Ultimately, judgment belongs to God alone. While Scripture emphasizes that those who do not love Him and do not accept His gift of salvation may face eternal separation (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9), it also emphasizes God’s grace and mercy. People can change, and God desires all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Hatred toward God may pose serious questions about one's relationship with Him, and whether they are truly a child of God. If the Spirit of God is living in you, the fruits of the spirit are peace, love, joy, kindness, and patience. Why would someone that hates God even want to go to heaven? God is not going to force you to love Him. So, I would say, that if someone has a real hate for God, then He probably would not make it to heaven.
1 Cor. 16:22 “If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.” 1 John 3:14 “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” 1 John 3:23-24 “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” These are clearly using positional language. 1 John 5:2-3 “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” Rom. 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” 1 Cor. 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Here you see that the “working together for good” and the “things which God hath prepared” are for those who love God. One should not expect the remainder of Romans 8 to apply if one does not love God. As Galatians and James show, it is a faith that works by love that is a true faith.
True faith is believing in Christ for eternal life because he paid for ALL of our sins. Stop trying to redefine faith with false interpretations. You are twisting scriptures to make it mean that salvation is by 'faith that works by love' because you are focused on your works of the flesh. Galatians 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Why are you trying to earn the free gift of eternal life? Do you not know that you have eternal life if you believe on the Son of God? 1 John 2 25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 1 John 5 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Well, we have videos on all the scriptures mentioned aside from 1 Cor. 16:22. Paul isn’t telling Corinth that those who don’t love aren’t saved. A saved man can still be evil and cursed… Hence the saved Jews in James who are unprofitable. 1 Cor. 16:22 is fantastic, but it doesn’t put forth what you are proposing. We have a verse by verse 1 John series, many videos on Romans 8 (even 8:14), multiple videos on James 2 - I even go verse by verse through chapters 1-2 in one sermon, and plenty of videos on these ideas. “What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:14-26 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/jas.2.14-26.NKJV
“Jude, a bond-servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, [writes this letter], To those who are the called (God’s chosen ones, the elect), dearly loved by God the Father, and kept [secure and set apart] for Jesus Christ: May mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you [filling your heart with the spiritual well-being and serenity experienced by those who walk closely with God]. Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I was compelled to write to you [urgently] appealing that you fight strenuously for [the defense of] the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints [the faith that is the sum of Christian belief that was given verbally to believers]. For certain people have crept in unnoticed [just as if they were sneaking in by a side door]. They are ungodly persons whose condemnation was predicted long ago, for they distort the grace of our God into decadence and immoral freedom [viewing it as an opportunity to do whatever they want], and deny and disown our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Now I want to remind you, although you are fully informed once for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe [who refused to trust and obey and rely on Him]. [Num 14:27-37] And angels who did not keep their own designated place of power, but abandoned their proper dwelling place, [these] He has kept in eternal chains under [the thick gloom of utter] darkness for the judgment of the great day, just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the adjacent cities, since they in the same way as these angels indulged in gross immoral freedom and unnatural vice and sensual perversity. They are exhibited [in plain sight] as an example in undergoing the punishment of everlasting fire. There are teachers all over the world telling believers not to worry about works. That they don’t effect your salvation. Just say you believe and you are saved. We need to start calling these people out for spreading such inaccurate deception. The only think we take with us after death are our memories. All our works which includes thoughts, actions and intent are recorded in heaven and will stand as a witness at judgment. The love of Jesus was taught by example. He has asked us to feed the hungry, visit the lonely and sick, those in prison, comfort the widows, and serve others in every way we can. These are the works he requires. Believe in him, have faith in him, follow him and you will have salvation.

' Romans 3:21-28 'But now, *APART from the law,* the righteousness of God is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets. This righteousness of God comes through *FAITH* in Jesus Christ to all and *UPON ALL who BELIEVE,* for there is no distinction. For *ALL have sinned* and come short of the glory of God, being *JUSTIFIED FREELY BY HIS GRACE through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,* whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith, in His blood, for a demonstration of His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had *PASSED OVER the sins previously committed,* to prove His righteousness at this present time so that He might be just and be the justifier of him who has *FAITH* in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but *by the law of FAITH.* Therefore we conclude that a man is *JUSTIFIED BY FAITH* *_without_* the *WORKS* of the law. ' Romans 4:1-25 'What then shall we say that Abraham, our father according to the flesh, has found? *If Abraham was justified by WORKS,* he has something to boast about, *but NOT BEFORE GOD.* What does the Scripture say? “Abraham *BELIEVED God,* and it was *CREDITED to him as RIGHTEOUSNESS.”* Now *to him who WORKS, wages are not given as a gift, but as A DEBT.* But *to him who DOES NOT WORK, but BELIEVES in Him who justifies the ungodly,* his *FAITH is CREDITED as RIGHTEOUSNESS.* Even David describes the blessedness of the man to whom God *CREDITS RIGHTEOUSNESS WITHOUT WORKS:* “Blessed are those whose iniquities are *FORGIVEN,* and whose sins are *COVERED;* blessed is the man to whom the Lord *SHALL NOT IMPUTE SIN.”* Does this blessedness then come upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? We are saying that *FAITH was CREDITED to Abraham as RIGHTEOUSNESS.* How then was it credited? When he was in circumcision? Or in uncircumcision? *NOT in circumcision,* but *IN uncircumcision.* And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the *RIGHTEOUSNESS of the FAITH that he had while being uncircumcised,* so that he might be the father of all those who *BELIEVE, though they are uncircumcised,* that *RIGHTEOUSNESS* might be *CREDITED* to them also, and the father of circumcision to those who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of the *FAITH of our father Abraham, which he had while still being uncircumcised.* It was *NOT THROUGH THE LAW* that Abraham and his descendants received the promise that he would be the heir of the world, but through the *RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH.* For if those *who are of the law* become heirs, *FAITH* would be made *VOID* and the promise *NULLIFIED,* because *the law produces WRATH,* for where there is no law, there is no offense. Therefore *the promise comes through FAITH,* so that it might be *by GRACE, that the promise would be certain to ALL the descendants,* not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the *FAITH of Abraham, who is the father of US ALL* (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations” ) before God whom he *BELIEVED,* and who raises the dead, and calls those things that do not exist as though they did. Against all hope, he *BELIEVED* in hope, that he might become the father of many nations according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in *FAITH,* he did not consider his own body to be dead (when he was about a hundred years old), nor yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in *FAITH,* giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that what God had promised, He was able to perform. *Therefore “it was CREDITED to him as RIGHTEOUSNESS.”* Now the words, “it was credited to him,” were not written for his sake only, *BUT ALSO FOR US,* to whom it shall be *CREDITED* if we *BELIEVE in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered for our transgressions, and was raised for our JUSTIFICATION.'* Acts 16:27-33 'When the jailer awoke and saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, “Do not harm yourself, for we are all here.” He called for lights and rushed in, trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas. He then led them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do *to be SAVED?”* They said, *“BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ,* and *YOU WILL BE SAVED,* you and your household.” And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his household. In that hour of the night he took them and washed their wounds. And immediately he and his entire household were baptized. ' Galatians 2:15-21 'We are Jews by nature, and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is *NOT JUSTIFIED by the WORKS of the law,* but through *FAITH in Jesus Christ.* Even we have *BELIEVED in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by FAITH in Christ,* rather than by the *WORKS of the law.* For by the *WORKS of the law NO FLESH SHALL BE JUSTIFIED.* If, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found to be sinners, is Christ therefore the minister of sin? God forbid! For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For through the law I am dead to the law, that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in my body, I live by *FAITH in the Son of God,* who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not nullify the *grace of God.* For if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ died in *VAIN.'* Jesus' commandments and God the Father's WILL are to *BELIEVE* in Jesus to save you and Love one another, these are his commandments, stated in these Passages *OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.* In order to be saved *YOU MUST BELIEVE* in the Lord Jesus Christ *NOT A SINGLE GOOD WORK* the People in Matthew 7:21-23 relied on their *WORKS,* trusted their *WORKS,* they *_"Stopped sinning, cast out demons, prophesied in Jesus' Name"_* *THEY WERE BOASTING THEIR WORKS* but they *NEVER ONCE* did the *WORK OF GOD,* or the *WILL OF THE FATHER,* or *JESUS COMMANDMENT* Which is to *BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST* and *YOU WILL* be Saved. We SHOULD do Good Works but they are NOT A REQUIREMENT for salvation, if WORKS were required for Salvation then Christ died in Vain because HIS WORK was not enough to save you alone. Whosoever has Overcome the world did not do so by your own merit, or because you stopped sinning, or because you helped the poor, or visited those who were sick or in prison, *NO* You have only overcome the world because You have *BELIEVED* in the Lord Jesus Christ and through *HIS WORK, HIS SACRIFICE, BY WHAT HE DID, HAVE YOU OVERCOME THE WORLD BECAUSE HE OVERCAME THE WORLD!!!*

I believe that whole heatedly, but it is a very uncomfortable thing to say you don’t have to love God to be in his kingdom. I get that it makes sense…. But it also means, someone who changes his mind after they’re saved and decides to hate God, will still be in his kingdom when they die. Wow, sounds so hard to accept. The individual who once believed in Christ is saved forever because of these reasons: - He is born again (Gal. 3:26) - God declares him righteous (Romans 4:5) - He is sealed with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:12-14) And many more… The individual is not saved by works, kept by works or proven saved by works. Therefore, any change in attitude toward Jesus from the point of belief to his death does NOT nullify salvation. - Trent

I challenge you to find one place in the Bible where it says once you are saved you are saved. “I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.” Revelation 2:21 NIV. The statement “whosoever believes is saved” is a summary of a truth found throughout the New Testament, but it’s essential to understand what “believe” truly means in the biblical context. Salvation is about much more than simply agreeing with facts about Jesus; it's about placing genuine, life-transforming faith in Him. When Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16), He was speaking of a faith that involves trust, surrender, and a changed heart. This belief isn’t passive or superficial; it’s active and rooted in a real relationship with Jesus. James 2:19 even warns us that a faith without action or transformation is dead, saying, “Even the demons believe-and shudder!” True belief moves beyond acknowledgment; it means trusting Jesus as Lord and Savior, resulting in a changed life. So, "whoever believes" is indeed true but must be understood as a deep, authentic faith. This belief leads to repentance, a changed heart, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The fruit of genuine faith is seen in a transformed life, growing in holiness, and in a love for God and others.
Read your Bible as it is written. It is written BELIEVES in John 3:16. Jesus did say BELIEVE. Don't put a lie on Jesus, you should be ashamed. Did Jesus die for satan and his demons? salvation has not been offered to them. Thus, the word BELIEVE in Context of James 2:19 has nothing to do with salvation or being justified before the Holy God. Jesus came as A man, He did not come as an Angel. satan and his demons are angels.
@@Donasavedbygrace why should I be ashamed? I am only speaking truth through scripture. If you think thats all you must do is simply say that you believe in Jesus and your saved, then you are completely mistaken. It takes more than just believing. Salvation is not just about a moment of belief; it leads to transformation. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul writes, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” A genuine faith in Jesus will naturally produce good fruit in a believer's life (Matthew 7:17-20). This transformation is often a process known as sanctification, where the Holy Spirit works within us to mold us into Christ’s likeness. Upon receiving Christ, believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, who empowers them to live a life that pleases God (Ephesians 1:13-14). The Spirit convicts us of sin, guides in truth, and equips believers for service (John 16:13). You mentioned James 2:19, which states, “You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe-and shudder!” This passage highlights that mere belief, without corresponding actions or genuine faith, is not enough for salvation. The demons acknowledge God's existence, yet they do not have a saving faith that leads to transformation or relationship with God. True belief in Jesus will naturally produce good works and a desire to follow Him (Ephesians 2:8-10). When you truly humble your heart before God, and put your faith and trust in Jesus, God sends His Holy Spirit to live inside you. The Holy Spirit seals you, and transforms you. You must have the Holy Spirit to be saved. Thats all I telling you. Do some research, and study scripture. Be blessed
@@Outsider4JC Acts 16:30-31 proves that you are a liar. It is written BELIEVE. As you can read if you know how to read, Paul did not say" you must have the Holy Spirit to be saved". Salvation is a birth issue while sanctification is a growth issue which is an ongoing process until glorification. Salvation has not ben offered to Satan. Thus, believe in context is not dealing with salvation but sanctification. Including satan into salvation is a blasphemy toward God. James is not saying that you must have faith plus works to be saved. Ask yourself saved from what? You are an accused according to Galatians 1:8-9. In order to have the Holy Spirit, you must be born again. You cannot have the Holy Spirit while you are still unborn. The Holy Spirit will come AFTER a person is born AGAIN. 1 John 5:5 is another verse to prove that you are liar as satan.
@@Donasavedbygrace James 2:17 teaches that faith without action is dead-not because we earn salvation through works but because genuine faith naturally results in transformation. Transformation does not save us, but it evidences a true, saving faith. It’s not “faith + works” for salvation but rather faith that works, by the Spirit’s power. True faith in Jesus results in a change of heart, mind, and actions because the Holy Spirit dwells in us. Let’s look at a few passages to understand how Paul describes salvation in connection with the Holy Spirit: Ephesians 1:13-14: Paul teaches that “when you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance.” Here, Paul directly links belief and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as part of the saving process. He’s saying that upon believing, a person is sealed with the Spirit, indicating that the Holy Spirit’s presence is integral to being truly “in Christ” and thus saved. Romans 8:9: Paul is even more explicit here, saying, “If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.” According to Paul, having the Holy Spirit is inseparable from belonging to Christ, meaning the Holy Spirit is present in everyone who is saved. Titus 3:5: Paul writes that God “saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” Paul makes it clear that this “rebirth” and “renewal” come by the Spirit, which is central to the salvation experience. So whos the liar now? Open your bible and read it for yourself. Yes, Paul said it. Stop arguing about something you obviously dont know anything about. Im trying to help you, not judge you. @@Outsider4JC What is the context of James 2:17? is it about going to Hell when we die? or something else? Ehh there’s error here. A child who disobeys his parents doesn’t unlove them. If you’re adding obeying to the word love that is incorrect unless u can tell me how much obeying. Based on what god requires which is perfection I would assume he expects perfect obedience if obedience equates to love.
Both obedience and love are expected, even in a parent child relationship. Any lack of love or obedience never nullifies the fact that you are a child of God. The point of the video is that loving God doesn’t save anyone. - Trent
There is no error. A disobedient child might not unlove his parents, but he certainly is not loving them the right way now is he? The whole law is summed up by loving God with all your heart, soul and mind and loving your neighbor as your self. Of course we could never do this perfectly, but we certainly should strive to love the way Christ loves us as best we can.
That’s silly how you saved and don’t love Jesus smh when you love Jesus you will listen to Him because you trust Him this guy says believe a lot and don’t know what believe mean believe what ? His teachings of course so how you believe someone you don’t love if you don’t love Him you wouldn’t follow Him smh this guy a self proclaimed pastor im guessing God didn’t tell this man to teach he just decided to make himself one
The call to be saved is not "love Jesus." The call to be saved is "believe on The Lord Jesus Christ." You must believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God who died, was buried and rose again for your sin. The moment you believe in Him, you receive eternal life. It isn't a lifelong process of love to attain salvation. That process is for AFTER you have been saved by faith in Christ. Loving him is commanded to believers to walk in lock step with Christ. Sadly, many believers fail to do this. Nonetheless, the latter matter is not for eternal salvation. - Trent
@ faith without works is dead you won’t believe Him unless you love Him and you won’t love Him unless you believe who He claim to be He claim to be God it started with love He so loved the world He gave His only Son He chose us we didn’t choose Him without love there would be no death on the cross
Mark 12 Love your God which is the first commandment don’t say believe first says Love first and you will start to believe the One you love but He loved us first
You can’t love him with all unless you have believed in Him. It’s impossible, because the call is to love God perfectly. When you believe, you are born again. You are given a new nature, spiritually, that is in Christ. This is how we are capable of loving him. - Trent
You won't need a rule to love Jesus,if your truly saved, you just will love Him.If you secretly don't,then id suggest you go look up Buddha or Hindu,or Muslim, because your wasting your time anyway.Might as well do it somewhere else.Jesus is really for those who become one in Him,even as He is one with His Father. So if you think you need to be ordered to live God and His Son,your barking up the wrong tree.

Leading others to the Truth of the Gospel is above all else the Greatest thing you can possibly do for the Lord 🙏 Going to Pray for You as well 🙏 God Bless You
As someone told me, we want to do what's not just because it's right but out of the love of what Christ did for us.
Everyday.
John 14:12, 15-17 NKJV
[12] “Most assuredly, I say to you, HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME, THE WORKS THAT I DO HE WILL DO ALSO; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
“And this is his commandment, That we should BELIEVE on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.”
1 John 3:23 KJV
So realistically speaking, we still love Jesus if we believe on him for salvation. Because thats his commandments
This helped.
“We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.”
I John 3:14 NKJV
You say love does not equal salvation but this verse says he who does not love his brother abide in death. How are you saved by believing in Christ only but abiding in death because you have no love at the same time? Also Acts 5:32 says God gives the holy spirit to those who obey him. Can you be saved without the holy spirit?

Bibleline Amen 🙏
So I am pondering the following:
Is love in this context also different than what we normally define love as ??
Meaning, usually love in our thinking, is more of a feeling and yet in referring to loving Jesus, it seems to be more of an action ( ie: if ye love me , keep my commandments )
Justification is by faith and sanctification is by love then.
Yes, I think you answered your pondering perfectly.

@@BibleLine ok!
Enjoyed this and thank you
In John 14:15, Jesus says, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” This highlights that true love for Jesus is demonstrated through our actions and choices, not just feelings.
The Relationship Between Salvation and Love
Believers and Love: It’s possible for someone to possess eternal life (justification) yet struggle with fully loving Jesus (sanctification).
John 21:15-19
[15]So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these?
But those who truly love him follow him and aim to glorify the Father, they shall also be rewarded with Christ.
respect Jesus save

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Luke 17:3
If repent only means a change of mind, how would you know that your brother repented so you could forgive him? Can you read minds? I can't.
I see that you are linguistically challenged, so I will just ask you to repent and believe the gospel.
@gregorylatta8159 why couldn't you answer the question?
true salvation involves a transformation of the heart, brought about by a genuine connection with and love for God.
Here’s why:
The Holy Spirit Renews the Heart: When someone is born again and receives the Holy Spirit, their desires and inclinations start to align with God’s.

@JohnnyKnows-g2o I also want to mention that is not faith alone enough to save? @jerrykorbell we are currently discussing this on my post.

I truly believe the spirit has the Power to change our lives, but I also know that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified by Christ Jesus as the only propitiation for our sins and the world. When you say true evidence of saving faith includes love and actions, is that not adding to belief alone in Christ?
I am trying to come from love in Understanding what additional actions are needed for salvation and if Christ died for all, who can deny them the right to salvation if all they did was believe Jesus is The Christ?
@JohnnyKnows-g2o John 11: 25 KJV Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
What about the theif on the cross, was his belief not counted for without evidence of "true" love or actions apart of his faith in who Jesus said He was?

I appreciate your question.
I have a certain curiosities in these experiences although I am sceptical and cautious that it is spirtism
We have one video on this.

Thanks.
If God is love and God saves. Can you be saved without love?
John taught love is evidence of salvation. However our perception doesn't prove anything.
I find it discouraging if no one answers this question because I’m really struggling with it; is it possible to hate God and still go to heaven??
Define what hating God means to you.
This is a doctrine of demons. Scary stuff. If you give all that you have and offer your body to be burned, yet you don't have love, you have nothing.
No one would do that and not have love. That is why Jesus died on the cross.
1 Cor. 16:22 “If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.”
1 John 3:14 “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.”
1 John 3:23-24 “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”
These are clearly using positional language.
1 John 5:2-3 “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”
Rom. 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
1 Cor. 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
Here you see that the “working together for good” and the “things which God hath prepared” are for those who love God.
1 John 2
25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
1 John 5
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

[Gen 19:1-29] Nevertheless in the same way, these dreamers [who are dreaming that God will not punish them] also defile the body, and reject [legitimate] authority, and revile and mock angelic majesties.”

Now God’s grace is to teach us to love others, thats main point of it all, God is love and wants his children to love others and even go as far as to love their enemies. But remember not everyone bears the same amount of fruit, and keep in mind faith in itself is already a fruit.

*Therefore “it was CREDITED to him as RIGHTEOUSNESS.”* Now the words, “it was credited to him,” were not written for his sake only, *BUT ALSO FOR US,* to whom it shall be *CREDITED* if we *BELIEVE in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered for our transgressions, and was raised for our JUSTIFICATION.'*

Galatians 2:15-21
'We are Jews by nature, and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is *NOT JUSTIFIED by the WORKS of the law,* but through *FAITH in Jesus Christ.* Even we have *BELIEVED in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by FAITH in Christ,* rather than by the *WORKS of the law.* For by the *WORKS of the law NO FLESH SHALL BE JUSTIFIED.* If, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found to be sinners, is Christ therefore the minister of sin? I do not nullify the *grace of God.* For if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ died in *VAIN.'*
Jesus' commandments and God the Father's WILL are to *BELIEVE* in Jesus to save you and Love one another, these are his commandments, stated in these Passages *OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.* In order to be saved *YOU MUST BELIEVE* in the Lord Jesus Christ *NOT A SINGLE GOOD WORK* the People in Matthew 7:21-23 relied on their *WORKS,* trusted their *WORKS,* they *_"Stopped sinning, cast out demons, prophesied in Jesus' Name"_* *THEY WERE BOASTING THEIR WORKS* but they *NEVER ONCE* did the *WORK OF GOD,* or the *WILL OF THE FATHER,* or *JESUS COMMANDMENT* Which is to *BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST* and *YOU WILL* be Saved.

I get what your saying as far as the requirements of salvation being faith in Christ alone. You’re basically saying, you can hate God at the end of your life, and still go to heaven. What do you say to this? I really need to know for peace of mind, thank you
This pastor is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I’m 98% convinced he’s being pimped by the evil one to make the audience he can grab fall asleep and rest in false assurance. I see no other reason why he constantly promotes types of people who are clearly not saved as being saved because they “once” believed. He also thinks he somehow interprets scriptures correctly Vs most other theologians who clearly state verses like this one are warnings to test yourself in the faith that you might not really KNOW him. Many won’t. Cheers for you to realizing this channel is corrupt. Most commenters I see hang out here to feel like they are good no matter what they are doing. If I had to guess. I used to think license to sin mentality too, before God woke me up from my sinful once saved always saved mentality that was enabling me living in sin.
The individual who once believed in Christ is saved forever because of these reasons:
- He is born again (Gal. 3:26)
- God declares him righteous (Romans 4:5)
- He is sealed with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:12-14)
And many more…
The individual is not saved by works, kept by works or proven saved by works. Therefore, any change in attitude toward Jesus from the point of belief to his death does NOT nullify salvation.

@@BibleLineI understand that… so you would agree that you can essentially hate God after being sealed and saved? Is that possible to hate God and go to heaven. Or, maybe if your saved you’ll never take it as far as to hate God?

Let’s look at a few passages to understand how Paul describes salvation in connection with the Holy Spirit:
Ephesians 1:13-14: Paul teaches that “when you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance.” Here, Paul directly links belief and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as part of the saving process.
Open your eyes !
@@Outsider4JC What is the context of James 2:17? is it about going to Hell when we die? or something else?
Having the Holy Spirit and being sealed by Him is a result of BEING SAVED.
the answer is you are a liar. Paul said in acts 16:30-31 BELIEVE. Once you believed (past tense) you have (present tense) The Holy Spirit.
How can you help me if you are blind and can't read as it is written .
Stop lying, you keep on sinning again and again. Look at yourself before coming in here and preaching another gospel.
- Trent
But we cannot give perfect obedience.
@@thecrayoncop Well yeah, kinda the whole point of why we need a saviour
There is no error. A disobedient child might not unlove his parents, but he certainly is not loving them the right way now is he? The whole law is summed up by loving God with all your heart, soul and mind and loving your neighbor as your self. Of course we could never do this perfectly, but we certainly should strive to love the way Christ loves us as best we can.
Does keeping also mean obeying?
John 14
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
How can you love something that doesn't exist?
Mark 12 Love your God which is the first commandment don’t say believe first says Love first and you will start to believe the One you love but He loved us first
I’m sure even the demons believe but they have no love for God or they will be saved
You can’t love him with all unless you have believed in Him. It’s impossible, because the call is to love God perfectly. When you believe, you are born again. You are given a new nature, spiritually, that is in Christ. This is how we are capable of loving him.
- Trent
