    Happy is he that condementh not himself in the thing he alloweth. Is this not applied all things? With meat being the example in the scripture? I enjoy a game or a movie with my wife in our home and we dont condemn ourselves for it but i wouldnt go out in public and promote those things for the brethrens sake.

      Fair enough. We cannot be in your life, nor do we desire to be. We simply teach the practical standards that we see in the scriptures. Every man should very much be motivated by the love of Christ in every area of his life. Let it be for His honor and glory at the end of the day.

      My question is where do we draw the line?
      There are many different "types" of addictions.
      For example, I have known multiple people with eating disorders throughout my life (over eaters; bulimics, etc). Does that mean I should or shouldn't eat certain foods or certain "amounts" of food around people who may or may not have an eating disorder?
      I'm seriously asking this question. I'm not trying to be argumentative at all!
      Thanks in advance for your response!

      @@BibleLine ah I see . So if our weaker brother has a problem with it, throw it out for his sake out of love for him and Jesus right? If he had a problem with steak or fish, should we stop eating it all together? Or just not with the weaker brother around? Genuinely asking for clarity, I just wanna do right and would like your insight. Great videos by the way just found your channel a few days ago.

      Setting an objective standard in some of these areas is difficult.
      With regard to eating more or less, you should eat enough to be healthy. I think we have the standard of gluttony to beware, but some may go too far on a weight loss journey. I think that gets subjective considering there are all sorts of weight loss habits. Perhaps your brother is rightly concerned if you’re harming your body. That may be a point in which you could offend them by your actions even though you’re losing great weight. Hard to be objective. I think bulimia is very dangerous from a health standpoint, just as gluttony is.
      To answer the question concerning steak, I would go by Paul’s words. He claimed he wouldn’t do anything for the whole world if it truly caused his brother to offend. That’s like an epic level of forbearance and love for the body of Christ.
      I personally have never had someone offended at me over eating steak. Perhaps you could be eating amongst Jewish Christians who still avoid pork. They might get offended, so don’t eat pork haha. If you ate pork in your house a day later, it’s fine. You know you’re justified.
      We cannot justified this with objectively sinful behaviors though.

    Do you think that Christians should believe that Jesus is eternally the only begotten Son, or that he became begotten during the incarnation?

    • @BibleLine
      @BibleLine  Месяц назад +2

      The first option. The triune nature of God always has been. Jesus has a timestamp on the birth of his physical human body, but he always has been from everlasting; the Son.

    Hi, I have a couple of questions i hope that you can answer. Does God still realize miracles? And what is the correct form of praying?
    Just recently, i was part of a fear monger cult, and i started watching your channel, and i have a ton of doubts about miracles. faith. Praying. How does God listen to our needs. Or are these things just don't matter?

    • @BibleLine
      @BibleLine  Месяц назад

      These things do matter 100%. Great questions.
      We believe the sign gifts are done away, but God can and does still work miracles. My friend just received a job and longer stay at a place he thought he was about to get kicked out. That’s a miracle to me. We prayed for it, and my friend was quite stressed. Nonetheless, God provided.
      We know God hears our prayers, but he doesn’t always give us what we desire, especially if our desires are not his desires. This is why we are to ask according to His will. If we are serving Him and loving Him, then we are in line with His will. The opposite can also be true.
      I would ask, do you know for sure that you have eternal life, that you are God’s child? If not, understand now that you can KNOW you have eternal life, that you are God’s child.
      You’re a sinner, and the penalty is death. Jesus paid your price by his death, burial and resurrection. You can have everlasting life by believing in Him. Will you believe in Him for the full payment of your sins? If so, you have eternal life. You are God’s child. God desires the best for his children.

      @BibleLine ok. But what about health miracles? Sanitation of diseases?
      And what is the correct way to pray? if there's one.
      I just don't know what to pray for. If I'm saved by faith. And nothing that I say or do matters. it's just by grace. Why should my prayers be listened to or make any difference? I just need to have faith in Jesus Christ and that it. What's the purpose of the Holy Spirit in me? Is he inside me to help? Or just to seal me until the rapture?

    • @ConradoHdz38328
      @ConradoHdz38328 Месяц назад

      @BibleLine when you say that God hears our prayers, if we are serving him and loving him, is not the same that works? Not for salvation but for answered prayers. Does God listen to our prayers because we have faith in Jesus Christ or by our works? How "good and loving" we are? This is very confusing.

    • @BibleLine
      @BibleLine  Месяц назад

      Health miracles? Sure, I don’t put that past God, even today, but I don’t believe in the prosperity type movements. They’re unscriptural.
      Some ways to pray:
      - often
      - with the expectation that God hears you
      - not amiss to consume it upon your lusts (just for your own greed and want)
      - knowing God is able
      - with thanksgiving, asking anything
      Salvation is 100% by grace through faith in Christ, yes, but the life we live thereafter should flow with good works. Yes, we are to continue believing and remembering the foundation by which we are saved, but our works are profitable thereafter.
      “Nothing that I say or do matters.” This is untrue. What you say very much matters: James 2:12.
      We are commanded to pray often in various ways in expectation that God will give an answer, and without any wavering. See James 1:3-8.
      The purpose of the Spirit is multifaceted. Yes, he seals you into the day of redemption, but he also teaches, guides, convicts, leads and is with you every step of the way. He can even pray on your behalf when you truly don’t know what to say.
      Does God only listen to those who faithfully serve Him? No. He hears it all.
      Let me help you understand my initial point from earlier with an example.
      I pray for a Lamborghini. It’s cool, and there is nothing wrong with it. I’m probably lusting though, let’s be honest. God doesn’t want me to have the Lamborghini because he knows better. My desires aren’t lined up with his. Therefore, why would He give me the lambo?
      I pray for opportunities to share the gospel in the workplace. God will probably open that door because his will is for all men to be saved. It lines up with His desires.
      Can God heal? Sure. Can He choose not to heal? Sure. We pray anyway.
