My Tuesday teaching took two days to finish, but it was totally worth it! If we "feel" stress, we have to remember, "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah." - Psalm 46:10-11.
My best friend just died. I found out my dog is dying of congestive heart failure last week. I am being worked up for cancer. I have lost it. I blew up at a bank teller yesterday. I eviscerated my sister overnight in an argument. I've completely lost it. It's not that I don't want to control my feelings; right now even God can't help me (because I'm not letting him). I'm so upset I couldn't care less if the world ends today. All I can say is please pray if you see this. Right now I understand the anxiey and fear that drives spontaneous v!olence.
Hi, this is a very good video, Romans 6:12-23 is in agreement with how you have explained yielding to the will of God. I must admit self control can trip me up when I allow something that is said when it comes out of nowhere, I heard a man say something about the grace of God and it really got to me, I had not heard anyone call it greasy before.
I have a genuine question about, what exactly is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? You can use my name if you wish and keep up the great work, God bless.

4:38 What does this mean?ANY kind of peace outside God is an idol? I get what he says after, but is this true? If I get peace from, say, an antibiotic or medicine am I in idolatry? If not, where does the line stand in terms of if something is from or not from God? If so, is trusting in anything for anything other than God idolatry?
I think what he was saying is that nothing produces true peace other than God. Something might bring a type of relief, but it isn't the same thing as God's peace because God's peace is not of the world. For example, I used to numb myself out with all types of drugs. It wasn't peace. It was a form of relief, but it was nowhere near the same thing as the peace of God. I can't even explain what it's like experiencing His peace; however, it is strikingly different than what drugs/alcohol temporarily provides as a means of temporary escape. I think where it becomes a problem, regarding idolatry, is when something takes the place of God in your mind. For example, what does your mind feast on the most? Is it a person? Drugs? Alcohol? Watching too much television? We can put anything first before God. We may not literally bow physically to it, but it can consume our thoughts where God should be. If there's something in your life that consumes your thoughts, it could be an idol. For me, the most recent was a person along with abusing prescription medication. God chastened me until I did an about-face and put Him first. I hope this helps. I encourage you to dig into the scriptures and pray for God to lead you and speak to you through His Word. ♥He will if you ask.
Hey, I have a genuine question about 1 Cor. 15:2 when it talks about being saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you. I believe you’re saved in a moment and I’m trying to work through this verse. Can you provide some insight into this?
We did a video on this verse. Let me know if you need more clarification. Believed in Vain Explained (1 Corinthians 15:2) ruclips.net/video/fUjsjSWgF34/видео.html - Trent
@@BibleLine Hey, I watched that video. I don’t have trouble with the “believed in vain” part. It’s the part before saying to basically “hold the firmly to the word I preached”. That part wasn’t touched on ““by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.”
@ChristopherDoyle-qu6br Ah I see. The reference Paul is making is to their knowledge of the resurrection. Read the next 20 verses. If Christ is not raised (which they should have in their memory, cuz Paul preached the resurrection), then their faith is in vain (meaningless). It isn’t the fact that they remember the resurrection that they are saved. It is the fact that Jesus DID rise that they are able to have believed in Him to be saved. Paul is literally having to remind the Corinthians of this event. - Trent
Are studying God's word by reading the KJV bible and preaching the gospel to people like what our Lord commands us to do in Mark 16:15 KJV the only way for us to walk in the spirit instead of our flesh?
Hey bro thanks for sharing
