Been enjoying your reactions! One thing I wonder about when I watch these Snarky videos is: what did it sound like in the room, if you took your headphones off? I assume the guitars, basses, synths, etc are not amped - they’d probably keep them in the headphones to avoid bleed on the recording. But obviously the drums, brass, strings, etc would be fully audible. Just something I’ve thought about. Must have sounded pretty strange in the room!

You should watch the video! It’s embroidered in the song’s mood. Regarding the uncensored video clip, there is a slightly altered (i.e. censored) version on youtube. Now i was a teenager in the 80’s but i believe i remember this song coming out a bit later than 1982, maybe they gave it a 2nd go in the mid 80’s? I remember that ‘disturbing’ feeling it gave me and it’s only much later that i got to appreciate this feature.

I dont think you have heard her sing Etta James I'd rather go blind (12) or Elvis "Suspicious Minds" (16), Amy Winehouse "Back to black" where her mom would not allow her to sing it with out changing the lyrics to be age appropriate for a 10 year old (she Wrote them over night and finished them in the car on the way to the studio), "Stay" (12) Born to die (12) Allen Walkers coming home tour concert where he invited Angelina to sing 2 songs for his concert. Thousands watched her there and millions watched her live online, and she did it at 10 years old and was sick with a 102 fever and a sore throat, and a cold but insisted to go on because she didn't want to let Allen Walker down (That is a 2 song reaction for you)

Just another 9year old singing a Screaming Jay Hawkins song... and this is not even her first or second language,, she had her first try at a studio recording at age 6 singing "I who have Nothing" then won Norways got talent at age 8 started that show at age 7,, she also wrote a book and published it at age 8 making her the youngest published book writer in Norway,, it's a book about why she performs with out shoes, until all kids of the world have shoes

This would have to be one of the most moving songs, beautifully performed by Jacob. My eyes were definitely moist, "don't know why, it makes me cry " I've seen and heard, some great artists in my almost eighty years but Jacob is unique. Thanks for reacting to this Jon.
