Came for the Bass VI mods, stayed for that INSANE demo. Have watched this 10+ times and it keeps getting better. I have similar complaints with my bass VI even though it’s my favorite instrument in concept, the execution is lackluster. Hoping doing these mods transforms it. Love your content, definitely earned this subscription!

Yeah techs don't take into account who's guitar it is when they want to eat and live indoors. They do the best job they can on every guitar. So your brother's. yours, Eric Johnson's, get over that crap and do the job! Or stick to changing strings.

I have heard custom nuts, do the intonation again, heavier gauge strings(LaBella) Some remove the tremolo

Always nice to see woman playing guitar, even MORE wonderful is that you're tech oriented. How did that start for you? I have two regrets, (1) I never mentioned in the personals that I wanted to meet someone who played guitar or bass, (2) that I wanted to meet someone who played guitar or bass, and was into Cosplay at comic conventions. *sigh

I want a Jag. I much prefer short scale guitars but also like having access to a range of tones.

I was so frustrated with the six point trem on my Mex Strat, that I bought the Vega-trem without a lot of research, but so happy with the ease of fit and the results.

So here are my Favorites - Vintage 6 screw - Gotoh Traditional Tremolo - 2 7/32 Bent steel saddle bridge - I typically put HighWood saddles on here to complete it, and it is if you are looking for that traditional trem look. - Runner Ups - Floyd Rose RailTail - Good for if you want a modern look on a vintage 6 screw style mount system, great if you deck your trem, takes a while to break in. - Super Vee Bladerunner - Best return to pitch a price 2 point Modern - Hipshot Contour Bridge - For Cost the best, its hands down the best option and TBH goes good with the Directotron 21:1 direct 2 pin replacement tuners - Runner Up - Sophia 2.2 - Expensive the best for this mounting system but if you don't care how much you put down. Floyd Recessed - OFR German - The original is still the best modified with Hollow Points it looks great and add a Tremolo-No - Runner Up - Ibanez Edge-Zero II bridge - LoPro design combined with the w/ZPS3Fe is just something that you need to try, This is more custom body not really a replacement. Floyd Top Mount - Gotoh GE1996T - In some cases this is also your best recessed provided it will fit without modification, hands down the best Floyd LIC on the market.

1st show is not easy, when you do it more frequent with songs you know very good, you can start to enjoy it yourself a lot and this whats the feel and then after a while it gets a bit boring , because you know the songs so well and can not hear them anymore and you have to keep up a good feeling to transport the song and the feeling or you write a new songs and start over again.

I used to have a candy apple red Japanese Jaguar from the 90s. I named her Kara but have never named another guitar .I think that's going to change now though 😂
