Hi there! Great video!! I have a question. Ik would by the fx9 with the Planar 50mm. But i'm a one man operator so I wouild like good autofocus. Does this lens do autofocus on the fx9? (facedetection?)

I agree about the difference in the footage. I have the S9 and S1 and the video looks more cinematic on the S1 but the S9 is smaller and has better AF. I will keep both cameras. Hopefully S1H2 will be better.

Someone on ebay right now (at the time of this comment) is putting the whole classic zeiss collection for pentax mount. I have a tough deicison. I already own the 28mm f2, i did own the 35mm f2 and 85 1.4 too (sold both). Wondering if could get this 21mm 2.8 or 18mm 3.5.

I am looking into full frame but same small compact body. Not because full frame is better or not. But specifically for the coverage of the view. Getting the actual 35 Wilde at f2 & its compact on a full frame it’s designed for or a Noctilux 50/1.2 wide open creamy bokeh. But absolutely, it’s about having fun. The big pro body does no god if you don’t have it out & ready. But the M3 can just hang on your neck all day long. (:

Thanks for going through all this. Unfortunately for me . I have 3 TailAirs and The Talent and all are successfuly connected to NDI BUT I am so far not able to record THREE ISO files simultaneosly from the Talent. I dont want to use it to Stream or as Switcher . The main reason I got it was just so I could record my musical performances with a 3 camera angle shoot and then edit them on something like CUT CAM . When I saw it did portrait mode I ran out and got but after about 4 days of troubleshooting im starting to doubt my decision. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sturdy.. beautiful sharp jpeg.. I use it all the time.. mainly bcus I can Carry it anywhere.. af sucks but strangly on Sr+ /auto it works fine. Battery backup is good as well.. I did let go my xm5 as I am using this more due to it being compact

The internal processing can't be bypassed unless you record BRAW / ProRes externally? Really? So, those colours isn't from a lut or anything, that's just on the raw footage captured on the internal sd?

Ciao Luca. Nice new toy! If you have the time can you compare stills against the s lenses 24, 35, 50 if you still have them at 2.8 to see how contrast, pop and sharpness feel in comparison. No one has done this yet it would be interesting to understand what each brings to the table.

Can the lumix lab app replace Lightroom as well ? Indeed, s5 can not apply real time luts but the lunix app can apply a lut in post-production in a auite straightforward way...can you confirm it?

i use my friend's sony full frame and edit it, and no significant compared to my canon apsc, so it doesnt convince me enuf to switch to FF haha

3:35 ..........will always provide a round "circle" not bokeh. A bokeh is either soft or hard not edgy or circular. This is what happens when you learn English on internet.
