I love that so much of the soundtrack for this episode was borrowed from the wrath of Khan, or at least wrath of Khan-esque. I mean, portions of the plot were too, so it all works!

That "banned flight maneuver" was a Kolvoord starburst.

I just realized why the writers had women suddenly be so into Boimler, while he's annoyed about it. Mariner is the Kirk, Boimler is the Picard. Picard constantly had women fauning over him and it annoyed him to no end.

Took me while to get used to the cast and still not happy with them but, I enjoyed the tech. Dont like most the woke cast including Michael as a girls name - cant get used to it. Then Tilly, or the constantly frowning spore guy. Also dont like the engineer who thinks funny but, isnt.

The series finale reveals what eventually became of Fletcher: Starbase 80.😏😏😏😏😏😏🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 He can be seen in the background during the party at the end.

I like the detail in the fight scene of Ma'ah always winning contests of strength between the two and being able to use his weight against her; he's clearly bigger and heavier, and the show doesn't have Mariner miraculously overpower him. Instead, she holds her own through agility and tenacity.

Makes sense for both Mariner and Ma'ah to fear a glass storm; it's a terrible way to die for both of them, but for completely different reasons.

T’Lynn was right and everyone on her ship including her captain was wrong. That is fact. Soko kicked her off the ship cuz he envied her intelligence and success. He didn’t want the embarrassment being found out as almost killing himself and his crew with his stupidity. A man’s ego threw a woman under the bus, end of story.
