Ironically, all these prequel series went and made the Federation much larger and more powerful in the 23rd century than it had originally been depicted in TOS.

Once word spreads of them being vulnerable, due to their lack of Dilithium, competing powers _would_ start attacking and pressuring them for their territory and position. It would change nothing for Ryn, it would probably make his life easier as they would have to spare manpower and resources defending themselves, instead of being able to solely focus their whole attention on capturing Ryn.

If that was Sisko he would have made sure she was never allowed back in starfleet, so would Janeway and Picard. Thank Admiral Cornhole for letting her back in starfleet.

Why is the transmission so low res? I mean you'd think in the 32nd century that visual communications would look better than they did in the TNG, DS9 or Voyager era and not have weird lines all over their face with some weird blue tint.
To be fair, even the Vulcans blame the Federation for the burn. And they were kinda doing a lot of experiments at that time, so not entirely impossible.

But the Orions were willing slaves, the females excreted pheremones that heavily influenced the males to the point that they were almost incapable of language.
It is admittedly possible that if you can't *smell* an Orion woman's pheromones then she isn't really any more attractive than any other woman. They're basically walking around emitting free beer goggles to the people near them.
This season was SOOOOOO disappointing, i stopped after eps 4, couldn’t take the non stop lecturing / moralising especially from Saru, who is THE most annoying of a very annoying cast. WTF HAPPENED TO THIS SHOW, season 1 and 2 absolutely brilliant. It’s like a totally new set of talentless teenage writers took over. It’s a pity
