Hey. American here. So being as I think like an American, I'd like to point out a few things. Literally NOBODY wants to ban guns outright or "come and take your guns by force." Literally zero people want that or advocate for it. The only thing being advocated for is to stop the mass production of military style rifles. That's literally it. Nobody is coming to take the current guns in circulation out of circulation. Nobody is coming door to door to take your shit. Fucking nobody. I don't know where you guys got this idea (yes i do, right wing talking heads and daddy Trump) that people are going to come raid your house and take all of your shit. The right's ENTIRE playbook is making their base afraid and then getting them to slowly give up more and more of the rights granted to us by the constitution by voting against your own interests. Why do you think education is so underfunded? Why do you think it's even MORE underfunded in highly rural areas with already undereducated populations? The answer is to keep them un/undereducated so that they don't understand their rights so the right wing can slowly apply more and more pressure through fearmongering, racism, and bigotry to drive up people's fears and misconceptions and get them to surrender their civil liberties at the voting booth. Why do you think the republican party is pushing an open authoritarian candidate who self-admittedly wants to be a dictator? The answer is that they've been at this for decades and now we're finally at the fork in the road for America. You need to look deeper than the surface and look and new REAL sources. You are being swindled by the right and you're bringing the rest of us down with you.

Interesting that you talk about Father Jack being scary to look at, because once the actor was in make-up, he genuinely WAS nightmarish to look at on set. Sadly he often had to eat on his own, because it was so hard to look at him. Frank Kelly who played him was really the polar opposite of Jack - handsome, kind, gentle, well-spoken and cultured - which makes it all the funnier to see him playing this coarse, dirty, angry old man! 😂

Regarding the scenario of an intruder breaking into your home with intent to maim or kill. U.S solution: Vastly Increase the chances of people being able to defend themselves via a ‘right to bare arms’. British solutions: Far stricter gun laws vastly reducing the chances of that scenario happening. Neither are right or wrong, and in both nations the overwhelming majority of citizens will spend their whole lives never being subjected to that happening.

Love this video, but the guy explaining the pros & cons is really scraping the barrel looking for cons. Srsly, noone here thinks about 'load balancing' - it's not an issue. The example of not knowing whether the electricity supply has been stopped at the socket or the device itself is just daft; all one has to do is look at one or the other and problem solved. It's not rocket science. Finally, nobody in their right mind leaves a plug lying out in the middle of the floor after removing it from the socket; it's always placed/kicked safely towards the wall out of the way. It's pure common sense. Glad you enjoyed the plug video and - apart from the poor selection of 'cons' - the man who narrates the video you're reacting to did a brilliant job!

As an Australian I always have a laugh at American "football". A foot rarely contacts the ball.Most of the ball movement us by throwing the ball. Soccer is genuine "football". In Australia we have Australian Rules Football. Try tracking that down. No pads,no helmets,full contact.Most players run more than 6 miles over a 2 hour game involving 36 players at a time (18 per side) on a ground over twice the size of an NFL ground.
