Pfefferpotthast is regional meat dish from Westphalia / Germany. I'm German and didn't know it existed at all. According to wiki: "For a traditional Pfefferpotthast, beef is first fried vigorously in lard and simmered until the meat and onions break down into their fibers with the same amount of onions as well as a few bay leaves and cloves. Finally, season with plenty of pepper, possibly a few capers and lemon juice. It is essential to bind the Pfefferpotthast with breadcrumbs instead of flour at the end. In summer, this dish is served with boiled potatoes and salad; in winter, pickled cucumbers and beetroot are served with it." Doesn't sound bad to me. I'll give it a try, when I have the opportunity to do so.
Other demand lists might be different, but in this case the reason the Austro-Hungarians gave the list of demands to Serbia was so that they could claim to be trying to avert the war. By giving Serbia a list of demands, they could claim that they had given them a chance for peace, and that the war was Serbia's fault for rejecting the list. Of course, Serbia accepted all but one of Austria Hungary's demands and only refused to let Austria Hungary have full access to Serbia's territory to investigate and arrest Serbians for being involved in the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand...which makes it quite clear that Serbia was more committed to avoiding the war than Austria Hungary was. You should definitely do part 2.
I don't know why this ultimatum by Austria is always considered to be an "impossible" list of demands. It isn't. All of this is what any country today would issue towards a terrorist group on neighbouring territory as well. The US demanded similar things, in fact even things surpassing this, after 9/11 from multiple countries around the globe.
2:48 Imagine is the US didnt get Saddam Houssein to invade Iran.. but invaded Iran themselve Same goes for Osama Bin Laden.. arming him, funding him to fight the russians instead.of doing it themselve. 😂😂
I love the joke if you are allied with America, avoid standing under their flag, it apparently a joke in the army as most of their kills is friendly fire and often actually themselves instead of other allies
@@mlee6050 even being allied doesnt mean your safe. Here in the Netherlands we have the ICC(international criminal court) for war criminals However the US has a law called "the hague invasion act" which says whenever an American is held trial at the ICC. The president can use 'any' militairy force nescecarry to free the Americans, including invading our country. Real Allies should not have laws, in order to invade allied countries.
@@danobanano2505 I feel they shouldn't invade anyway but I do love the laws that limit the weapons they use, I wish there was a ban on ammo so yes may have the weapons (as know some like weapons to display) but unable to get ammo to have wars as deadly as have been like last century or so
@@mlee6050 there are some international laws about it. One of them is against Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems America however did make those weapons (AI killerdrones) justifying it by saying they "think" Russia or China are making them too. Laws preventing weapons dont mean shit if countries dont follow them.
@@danobanano2505 from notification I thought you was going to say America believe that AI soon become self aware and so they think before take control of the weapon
