Graves Of The Top Nazis Still Exist Today!

- It may be surprising, but at the end of the Second World War and in the years following there have been many high ranking Nazi members and people involved in Hitler's government who were buried after death. They were not cremated, and still today their bodies exist in graves on earth. Even the Head of the SS Heinrich Himmler was buried in secret, and Reinhard Heydrich had his grave allegedly broken into recently. But there are many more high ranking Nazis that have graves, and there have been some who's coffins have even been opened.

Hi all, I hope you are well. I hope you enjoy this video. A lot of hard work went in to bringing you a longer video. If you let me know what you'd like to see from now on I'd be happy to try to bring you that. All suggestions welcome of course within reason, different periods of time too. I'm going to try and bring you longer videos also. Thanks as always for your support.

This was so insightful...
don't use AI narration. It totally sucks and no matter how good the content, it is intolerable and impossible to follow in a couple minutes. It really sucks. Use a real voice and the pphrasing and iintonation will at least be natural. Mistakes are far more acceptable than the awful sing-song of artificial narration.
@@ardeladimwit@TheUntoldPast
The narration is fine. I'm not sure what triggers potty mouth comments? 😂 Great video.
When I was a kid there we lived one town over from where a WWII P.O.W. camp was located. German prisoners were taken here to the U.S. and kept prisoners for the duration of the war and a little beyond. We used to visit the place when I was a kid to hunt for souvenirs. But at the corner of the former camp behind an old rusted four foot high chain link fences was a small cemetery. This is where they buried the P.O.W.'s who had died while in custody. Not a huge number in my opinion. The camp had held over a thousand prisoners at it's height but there were only about 20 graves in the cemetery. All but three of the small concrete headstones have crosses on them. Those three have swastikas. When I told my history teacher about it a few years later he didn't believe me. He was a WWI veteran. He knew about the camp but did not believe that a camp commander would have permitted it. So we went on a short impromptu field trip, me, him, my parents and a couple of my friends who had been there before and he was astonished to see the markers. He said he thought all the markers were made of wood not concrete and thought that the swastika had been banned from P.O.W. camps in the US. So he did some further research and we went along with him to first the town's town hall then public library and then he wrote the army for information and after a few weeks we got a response and it turns out that the surviving inmates had requested permission to make concrete markers and were granted permission and that the ones with the swastikas on them were SS enlisted men who had put instead of the denomination of their religion on their paperwork they put down they were members of the NSDAP and so any who had that got a swastika on their marker instead of a cross. Besides that was impressed into the concrete when it was wet were the inmate's name and rank and year of birth and death. Ironically, there is another P.O.W. camp in the same state that had a similar cemetery and one of those graves had a wood marker that had a Star Of David on it though all those markers were wood and had long ago rotted away. What we saw were photos taken. Research showed that the person with that grave was an enlisted man who had kept his Jewish heritage a secret but when he got to the states he told the camp commander of his heritage and requested a segregated housing so as not to be kept in the same place as the others out of fear of his life. The request was granted and but he got sick from something (Unclear what) and died the following year.

If you watch until the end, you'll find out what happened to Hess' grave. Shocking really as they had to get rid of his remains decades later to sort this out once and for all. Thanks for your comment.

When are you going to address the crimes of the communists??
Who are you referring to?
@@susiepittman601who do you think?? Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, and more... 94 millions dead and forgotten... Hitlers 12 millions +, are always in focus. Of course the 110 millions dead under communism are important to pay our respect to!!! Final ..
You are so right ... 94 millions dead and forgotten by history...
You are correct history is always written by the victors sadly
@bertcert991 if that we're true then Germans wouldn't write books about World War II..
At school the teacher had written in fat letters ‘topic largely failed’ … instead of focusing on the topic the clip loses itself in details about the Nazis … a brief summary followed by a work-up of the actual problem is what had been expected.
Servus from the Free State of Bavaria! The video itself was educational, but as a German, I feel the pronunciation of German names could be improved. For example, at 6:01, Heinrich Himmler is pronounced incorrectly-'Heinrich' ends with a soft 'ch' sound, not a hard 'k.' Sorry for being picky, but we Germans are quite sensitive about how Brits pronounce our names. 😊
Just USA speak, they say Adolph too but its adolph with a soft A
We say Bollocks as well and the emphasis is on the B
Leave it to the British and us in America to butcher and miss pronounce foreign names and words. I do thank you for giving the correct pronunciation of Heinrich’s name.
@@GünterHoffmann-e7o i understand that. my Great Grandfather was German, Henrici Hoffman.
Gotta wonder what on earth Himmler and Heydrich could possibly have had to say for themselves had they survived and been put on trial at Nuremburg...
Another interesting video. However, as usual, I find the narration really off-putting. Maybe it’s just me but it seems like the emphasis always tends to be placed on the wrong words - was, would, did, of, were, had, is (for example). I expect I’m just being pedantic but I find it really distracting.
That apart, it was an interesting watch.

Speer had one heck of a lawyer
"Deal with His remains once and for all" WTF ???
Yes, his sword.
No surprise the graves still exist.
You make no sense … its s big surprise they still exist! In Germany they were and are obsessed with not having any potential shrines for the far right. Many never received graves, others had them removed like Rudolf Hess’ grave was removed.
@@GanymedeXD Its not surprising. Soilders in germany have "eternal rest" . Meaning, noomatter your country or background. Your grave HAS to reamin. Only relatives or special case by case inspections can remove such a "warrior grave".
All others have a resting periode of 30 years (for a coffin) and 25 years (for an urne). So for example, Speers wife died in late 1993, so 31 years, if noone is to die this year, the grave will be removed. Hess was removed because it was over 30 years. Some others have been removed, because the families didnt want a shrine for neo na*is to visit.
I thought B.J. Blazkowicz destroyed them all.
A nazi buried somewhere is a “chilling fact”? 😂 ok.
It just amazes me to know that in German and other European countries you really just rent a grave and if your whole family is gone then they take up your head stone. Why is it that way is it because there’s not much land for cemeteries. It blows me mind. Can anyone explain this to me I really would appreciate it. Thanks
Land for bones is scarce and your subscription fee also helps pay for the upkeep.
Ya they are still Buried they , just moved over, if you want you can pay for an exclusive Grave, a monument a Mausoleum.
Just use common sense … a gravesite is always rented … once the rental period ends its taken down if not extended. Nothing idd about it. The body has decayed, no relatives left willing to pay, of course no grave is required any more. Graves are only for the living … biological waste, an empty shell does nio require s marked grave … humans do to cope with death!
And why shouldn’t their graves exist?
because some people would get their fee fees hurt :P
Cause they’re scared. Same reason we never got the subtitles in Hitlers speeches until recently.

Very good video. I however do not understand how or why the remains of all these Nazis were not cremated and the ashes scattered so they could never be found. It seems only right and natural that you would want to prevent future generations of crazies from using the remains for whatever they wanted to use them for. I just don't get it.
With Hess, you can understand why his remains were dealt with once and for all. I agree with you.
