You say you don't care what people say but consider this: a person is prone of going on rampages and eventually kills people, later we find out that he has a big brain tumor that severely hampers his ability to control emotions and drastically changes who he is. Doctors operate his brain, excise the tumor and he returns to a normal mild-mannered person who deeply regrets what he's done. Is it not a right thing to do and even our moral obligation to cure such people if we can? Does someone like that, who is a victim of biological mishap, *deserve* everything bad that's coming his way? BTW, this isn't pure speculation but based on an actual case.. I'm just saying that things aren't so black and white as we'd like to think.
Healthcare in the USA. Why should you even pay for an emergency ambulance call, for an operation that saves your life? Just imagine. You call the police because you were robbed/raped/beaten or stabbed. For example. And only depending on your insurance, the police will begin an investigation! And you will have to pay for every stage of the investigation, for all blood and DNA tests, for interviewing witnesses, even for every gallon of gasoline that the police spent!.. This is nonsense. So why do you think it’s ОК for someone with a broken leg or a broken head in an accident to have to count their money and check out their insurance before going to a doctor immediately?! It is just insane for 21st century civilization.
It sounds to me as if being a millionaire in the US of A these days, isn't even being rich. Any houses that don't blow away with some heavy wind seem to be over a million. All this because houses are one of the easiest ways to make a lot of money. I don't believe in pure socialism any more than I believe in pure capitalism. A good mixture of both seems to be the best we as humans can come up with these days. Some countries have this down for the moment, but have to keep on making changes constantly to keep it working, others not so much. A perfect government will never exist, as all governments consist of humans with their own flaws. At least there is some control over a government, not so much control over companies.
Again, socialism is no communism. We here live in a social democratic country, and we have billionaires here , too. And of course, everybody will find a job in the US, but do they have workers protections?
You are so into the US mindset, socialism wouldn't work for you anyway, because you aren't open minded towards this ideas. Death penelty for example, If you don't treat other Humans as such, no matter, what they have done, you will never be able to Change the society.

Technically he's describing the sub-category of socialism called Syndicalism.
Just a reminder, socialism and social democracy are different things. The latter is probably what modern societies prefer.
Okay. Show a video on life under Socialism in China. That's how you decide. See it in practice.
