Businesses are closing, layoffs are up, also interest rates are still on the high side. .......and this is the buying season and homes are sitting on the market longer. Do Not Overpay! Those that are encouraging you to buy, have a vested interest in you purchasing.

My brother built a big home in Burnsville. He moved from Phila. He made a few friends there but said he never really was accepted. I visited a few times and he took me for a ride thru the area, Yes beautiful, but many homes flew Confederate flags.i am white and I married a Hawaiian. My brother said he would not be accepted in some communities.

Have lived in NC all of my 67 years. I sit on my back porch in the morning with my coffee and watch squirrells, hummingbirds, cardinals, and my dogs. I do put a cinder block on my trashcan to keep out raccoons, and don't mind a blacksnake under my house.(He keeps the mice and other vermin away and is generally considered harmles.)

Now thinking of moving to a safer area and also one that isn’t overbuilding with no plans to improve infrastructure We will soon be a parking lot as we cannot build or widen roads to a c accommodate the # of people. We have a horrible hospital , people have died in waiting room of ER. ! This is what happens when people vote in realtors on the planning board!

Please don't move to North Carolina we are full. Rent is to high and housing is out of reach.

It is my belief that home ownership is overrated. I invest $2000 a month in the stock market. If I were to buy, I would not be able to invest the $2000 per month. The price of homes needs to come way down before I would even consider buying, but we all know that's not happening. Love the channel and keep up the great work. It is appreciated.

I lived in SC rattlesnakes ,alligators, noseuums, spiders, mospquitoes, love bugs, copperheads ,palmetto bugs. Bluffton has them all!

I moved to NC in 2008 and I love it. Never seen a flying roach but we had them in Texas. The spider is a harmless garden spider

Believe it or not they do look like a roach, but they’re way different. We call them water bugs. They don’t eat trash they eat rotten leaves and wood. And they do do not infest your house if you see one believe it or not they’re just passing through. I still find them very unnerving though.

I’m from Maryland and I moved to North Carolina in 2018 and I’ve hated it. Just know if you come down It’s best to move to the triangle area or Charlotte because I moved to Fayetteville and it’s terrible. Just know coming to North Carolina is a whole New World and I don’t mean that in a good way.

I've lived here all my life, since 1982. One of the worst things weather wise. It can be the humidity, not just the heat. That's a black and yellow garden spider you showed in the video, it's harmless. It will bite though. They're good to have around. Traffic going to Greensboro on Friday is a headache.
