There was a group of guys where I used to live that wore “lone wolf no club” matching patches and they all wore a support patch for a top 5 club. It was weird.

1) The culture has become so watered down. I do feel bad for people in the 1% culture. Their culture has been so commercialized by media and Wall Street, and by some of the bigger clubs themselves, that the meanings behind a lot of the symbolism is no longer respected. 2) with an understanding of what I did just say, in the United States of America we have the First Amendment. One person cannot legally stop another from wearing what they want. The acts of violence against people here for wearing something is ridiculous. Very simply, things one person holds sacred may mean nothing to someone else. In this country our Constitution says that’s to be tolerated. Whether it’s a diamond patch or a crucifix, we are all allowed our own perspective.

I heard it said somewhere about Lone Wolf and No Club patches like this: "You don't need a patch to tell us you are unaffiliated. The absence of club patches already tells us that." I understand the desire of outsiders like myself to associate with the culture in some way, or pay hommage to it and show that we respect it. On the other hand, I totally understand why clubs take issue with people who didn't put in the work acting like they're a part of something that they're not. I guess you could say it's stolen valor. You're either in, or you're not. You might learn a thing or two watching Biker Protocol or any other good source of MC culture info, but you'll never truly understand the culture and be a part of it if you haven't been on the inside.

I SMH'd one of those lone wolf guys while wearing my military patch. He called me a hypocrite. I pointed out that I earned my shit.

Except for the Lone Wolf 1% club in Australia which has been around for many many years.

Great info as always. How do you feel about nomad patches? There some clubs that may not have a chapter in your specific area, but offer a nomad patch once you have completed whatever probationary/process they have. Again great content. Ride safe

Sup guys I was thinking to start a RC not put a patch on my back but maybe run our name down on my left or right sleeve 🤷🏻‍♂️, but with enough and serious members about it. would transitioning from a RC to a MC would be ok to do or just start as a MC from the jump?…. Thanks LP

Waited to comment. The chomo thing is exactly what popped in my brain. I know of one 99 club that doesn't do bgc's, but requires a ccw and/or VA ID card (no VA benefits to dishonorable discharged)

We have a lady here who is set up out of a local bike shop who does a great job will all our patches…..her patch bible if f**kin’ huge!!

I have always thought that being an “independent” makes you stay neutral and out of other clubs business

Prospecting is very important.

I’m in a MC and we are a non-territorial neutral MC with chapters in the southeast northeast and west coast and overseas. About the only affiliation we have as an MC is with the COC in every state we have chapters. It does get tricky at times because the dominant diamond clubs want you to be a support club or affiliate club. But they know who we are and what we are about so our club doesn’t get a lot of pressure because we are friendly with all as long as the respect is mutual.

if they force you to sit on a bike for 30+ minutes and never had a reason to stop you to start with, get name and badge number because there is a legal requirement to conduct a stop in a timely manner. so there is a good chance to at least get the cop in trouble. hold them to the same law we get held to.

I want to know your thoughts on back patches on your cut if you’re not in an RC or an MC what do you think is acceptable?? I live in Northern Wisconsin. I know there are a couple of MC’s down around Milwaukee the south east part of the state but I know of nothing big around here.

Unfortunately our one treasurer was skimming off the account in our organization. Now is shared with the entire chapter every month and voted on for spending.

Should compare and contrast the responsibilities of the treasurer and the secretary positions. Interesting to see the long term goals of the treasurer versus the day to day short term objectives of the secretary and how the roles are interdependent to each other. Also I wonder how much outside financial institutions are involved and the reliance of their services compared to other clubs and organizations.

I don’t know anything different cuz my club journey was my own n the clubs. When I got my Prospect patch n my full patch, both times the club said call Karen. Get that sewn on same day. I was going on a ride next day after getting patched. She n her sister are amazing. Always fun to chat with her. I love she’s got the MC Bible with club patches. First time she pulled it out n started measuring where to place them🤯. She’s a fun chat n super professional. Waldo

What would be awesome is if y'all could make a 50 State list of people like Karen, by getting your viewers to post their experiences with seamstress' around the country, and build some kind of database. I personally have always used Asian dry cleaners, who are adequate but far from 'expert'.

She is really great, proud woman!! Glad u interviewed her. My gf was a leather semester at Renagates in Tucson. They had to close due to economic reasons & she bought out the sewing business. She is setting up privately.. Soon to open. I sent her this link. They are needed by all of us should always be respected for the talent they have!! I use to see patches on by hand in the 60’s-70’s it was hard as hell, no glue on the back so thread was no ability to keep them straight etc Using curved needles hurt your hands trying to go thru leather & patch… and took lots of time haha !!! Has for as I know the HA still use their private person but other Clubs use Jodi Holloway my gf!! She has a huge machine that makes the patches there!! Great interview!! Every M/M is ran differently. I understand that BFC don't have officers just elders which is ok. Road Riders for Jesus we do have officers in our ministry. The only reason I post this is so others know that not all M/M are ran the same.
