I e been riding for 56 years. With groups of friends and by myself. I have never needed to wear a vest with a picture of an animal on the back. I’m not into biker politics. I ride where, when, and what I ride. I learned a long time ago don’t depend on others going riding. I make my plans and do it.
The "Ice Cream Men from Hell" - with the exception of one guy - were absolute clowns. I was wondering how much the had to pay the HA to tolerate those idiots.

I’m going totally to another direction than the “MC community”. I’ve been in a motorcycle club, I’ve followed the protocol and believed in all those attributes, all those written and unwritten rules that have made the community a slave of itself. No more I’m gonna play by the rules made by people I have never met. Yeah I know it might come with consequences but so be it. My honest opinion is that you don’t find that pure, genuine, authentic and original biker spirit in MC’s. It’s all act. What we have today is a machinery that feeds itself with principles that are very superficial. If I’d find likeminded bikers and we would like to start a club, it wouldn’t be to contribute to the community. That would be for us. Nothing else.
Unfortunately there is a lot of truth to this. If you see the new Bike Riders movie it explains a lot and shows you how things have changed and not necessarily for the good.
I was part of a new club. A year of prospecting for the dominant club in the area. After that we were allowed to have our patch, it was the only way for a MC to start up. You don’t want to be caught with a three piece without a blessing. This is serious business and respect is everything. RC do what you want, no big deal just don’t pretend you’re something you’re not. The idea of Freedom is debated often. In comparison to other countries we are very free. However freedom does require rules otherwise it's just anarchy.
i dont really feel like theres anything inherently wrong with pop up clubs, if you have even a basic reason to make one and have the right people for it. It does seem like it would be difficult to not appear like a SoA larper who was too scared to prospect for an already established MC though
