Why You Should NOT Start A New Motorcycle Club

  • It is becoming more and more common for a few friends, who ride motorcycles together, to think that they should make some patches and declare they are an MC without understanding why there are better alternatives to doing this or fully knowing what can be negative consequences for patching-up as well. In this video we will talk about why you SHOULDN'T just throw a patch on without having a deep understanding of the RC and MC community you're in.
Be sure to watch our other related video of the difference between an MC (Motorcycle Club) and a RC (Riding Club): • Motorcycle Clubs (MCs)...
If you would like us to answer any questions you may have about the biker community please leave them in the comment section.

It's questionable why a club would welcome someone into their ranks who couldn't stand on there own.
Clearly, it's to the advantage of the established members to have a pool of the expendable and subservient to draw on to further their plans,

I e been riding for 56 years. With groups of friends and by myself. I have never needed to wear a vest with a picture of an animal on the back. I’m not into biker politics. I ride where, when, and what I ride. I learned a long time ago don’t depend on others going riding. I make my plans and do it.

I’m going totally to another direction than the “MC community”. I’ve been in a motorcycle club, I’ve followed the protocol and believed in all those attributes, all those written and unwritten rules that have made the community a slave of itself.
No more I’m gonna play by the rules made by people I have never met. Yeah I know it might come with consequences but so be it. My honest opinion is that you don’t find that pure, genuine, authentic and original biker spirit in MC’s. It’s all act. What we have today is a machinery that feeds itself with principles that are very superficial.
If I’d find likeminded bikers and we would like to start a club, it wouldn’t be to contribute to the community. That would be for us. Nothing else.

Unfortunately there is a lot of truth to this. If you see the new Bike Riders movie it explains a lot and shows you how things have changed and not necessarily for the good.

All this m/c-r/c--B.S.--is just like a lousy soap opera with piss poor actors trying to get face time on the internet , the ghost guy is the absolute worst and in this game,by being worst he may well be regarded as being the best of the worst ,which only makes everyone else a looser ,because they can’t even be as bad as he who thinks of himself ,as being the best- i view this all as a low cost cartoon show--the 25 cent Saturday cowboy shows with Roy and Gene and Hoppy had more interest remember the Lone Ranger -Now these new internet jockeys want to use ‘Code’s to identify the actors, like , [69] ha -Haha and cartoon character on the backs of old men ,who actually should know better than to carry on like this, just think of the example they are setting for the youth of our countries, God bless the world -it shure needs all the help it can get ---like pallidan said , ‘’ he who travels fastest goes alone’’ ---ride safe& ride far------ p-----

I was part of a new club. A year of prospecting for the dominant club in the area. After that we were allowed to have our patch, it was the only way for a MC to start up. You don’t want to be caught with a three piece without a blessing. This is serious business and respect is everything.
RC do what you want, no big deal just don’t pretend you’re something you’re not.

I tried to understand what they were talking about, but this is dumb.
People who ride motorcycles together want to make a MC it's on them, people have a right to congregate however they want, for a group claiming to be "rebels" this is a very establishment-supporting mentality here.

I'm not talking about what those MC should do or how they should be treated by anyone else, if they decide to push up or lfex in front of other groups then that a different story, and if you wanna be outlaw then be an outlaw, but the whole idea of "pop up" MC is just rediculous, some people ride for comraderie, some ride to fulfill a goal, some as a front for criminal activity, and some people just wanna have fun and riue in a group

i dont really feel like theres anything inherently wrong with pop up clubs, if you have even a basic reason to make one and have the right people for it. It does seem like it would be difficult to not appear like a SoA larper who was too scared to prospect for an already established MC though
