In northern New York when leaving or showing up to a club house you must say hello to every patch that was there before you showed up and then say goodbye to everyone who’s there when it’s time for you to head out
We have 2, one we call a "subhouse" because it is mainly a shop that a member owns, but members are welcome to stay on the couch if need be, hang out, seek refuge from the weather etc. Our main clubhouse is actually in my own big garage, which I own outright on my large property. Since I have 2 garages on my property, we made the large one (with a furnace) into the clubhouse. We can pull the bikes in, there are toolboxes if you need to wrench on a bike, there is an air hockey table, big screen tv, music, bar, keg on tap, pool table, lots of seating, couches, dart board, poker table, stage with instruments and karaoke. It's really fun in the summer to open it up and senior members just roll up and ride right in. It's great. Also it is fun to guess who you hear rolling up by the sound of their bike. It's also the same as you mention about the neighbors, they absolutely love us and will often drop by to say hi. The police don't bother us at all, not in 30 years. In the winter when we can't ride we still pack the bikes in there and we'll just sit on them sometimes, and yes, smoke cigars, have drinks, shoot the shit and watch movies or whatever we feel like doing. We also have a nice fire pit under a grove of trees, a big barbeque and a fridge outside that members keep full, especially after hunting season. All sorts of deer and moose meat available to grill almost any time. We also have yellow parking spot lines painted outside on the driveway in.
Consistent membership is important to. Say you have 50 guys today so dues are $50 to pay the bills but six months later 20 dudes quit next thing you know it takes $250 each to pay for the clubhouse
Just a thought, what about preemptively informing the local PD of any activities planned. Possibly even I vote them to send someone to keep an eye on you. This should build a good relationship with them.
Sounds like fun getting your own house!!!! The Hun’s Clubhouse in Tucson that my partner was a member is also in a neighborhood with businesses. They bought there clubhouse yrs ago They have the usual bar, pool table, pin ball, kitchen, place to crash, & big rm like u said with couches, chairs & tables… outside there is a small stage, grills storage full of outdoor tables, chairs & misc. Parking inside gates for members only. They have outside cameras that r seen inside on screen (4) They have signs posted your being filmed.. All guests must enter with members only. The club (Bro) take care of the clubhouse, supplies, getting booze & sodas. And use Cosco. I quess every body does lol They have portable toilets for events. Prospects walk all women to their car if single. The ol lady & bring the side dishes, dessert etc. The clubhouse is set up by the Bro’s. They have tons of old pic the Club just had 50th anniversary!! They have some special items from members who have died. Ex. there is a rocking chair with name, number on his patch. A huge cut of a very lg member. Framed old patches, lots of old items of Bros that family’s want to give. Metal bikes & skulls etc. The Club has lost sev older Bros & new young members r going in I see big changes coming. I have question for your Clubs. The older wives r not coming around anymore & the younger guy’s have gf one wk but not the next lol So now there is only constant sister & I always go so she’s not alone & bring food for events & just hanging around. Have u gone thru this ? What if anything do u suggest ?? I don’t go on any runs, their events etc since my partner died last yr. My gf is really frustrated & is going to ask him to lv the Club…, after 15 yr in Club the sisterhood just isn’t there anymore??? Any ideas ?? What have u seen in your Club’s?? Also let’s say that this works itself out ( which it will one way or another right?) There has been an issue that the women can’t be inside when church is going on. Get that but in summer it’s over a 100 outside so sitting outside sucks plus no outside bathrooms so it use to be that we went to a bar close by but…They talked about building another rm onto Clubhouse …? How do your Clubs deal with this. This has always been a strong couples Club times have changed. The Pres said that I’m welcome anytime if there’s a bike outside , Enjoy your info. Thanks

That sounds like a nice spot.
If I was gonna do a big open to the public event like that I'd find a nice public park

Con: Everyone knows where to find you.
Very good point. Definitely something to consider.
Hey new studio, good for you guys! Really enjoy the channel.
Thanks so much.

Very valid point. We've seen this first hand.
Good stuff gentleman 💪🏻
Thanks!
This is a conversation I had with one of my clients. His club does not have a clubhouse because they become anchored to it and ride less
There is a lot of validity in that and we've seen it with many clubs.

Yeah, not really.

When I was a single, I loved having a clubhouse because it was the place we took our side chick's too.
Side chick and single kind of contradict each other haha.. jk
@@BikerProtocol legally single. Lol
