Taki is handling the rollout very poorly. He overpromises and often can't deliver. Not to mention he seems more interested in doing other projects without finishing development and shipping of current ones. He barely explains how these things work yet he expects people to just roll over and fork $100+ for an HDMI mod. We need more transparency and we need more realistic timelines from him tbh.

In the PS2 era, the PS2 was marketed as a DVD player as well so it was a boom because it could do both things and people were looking for DVDs. The Switch numbers are impressive considering it is a dedicated gaming system and nowadays that we have so many options and PC Gaming , the Switch is a massive success, now with the Switch 2 hype the sales are lowering with the expectation but that's normal for an 8 year console, no other way this generation lasted that long unless it was selling that well. They are are playing it safe and don't want to change the formula much, but still refresh it and evolve it with better specs and even mouse function, and retro-compatibility making Switch 2 a potential beast candidate for an outstanding catalogue, hoping it will be the definitive gaming console for many people ☺

If there's a Nintendo Direct in February, I expect these games: The Kyle Hyde Mysteries Collection (Both Hotel Dusk and Last Window remade on Switch) Yoshi's Woolly World Re-knitted Kirby Planet Robobot Deluxe Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episodes 1+2 HD Rhythm Heaven Encore.

All of these 'Nintendo Direct this week, Direct on the 4th, Direct on the 5th, Direct right now' Videos are getting rediculous when Nintendo LITERALLY said April 4th. Why do people not pay attention to what the actual company itself says?

If the Direct will take place today (probably like a Mini or Micro Direct), well it will be a great birthday present for me (I'm born in this date)

If it’s running on the series S then yes it’s coming to the Switch 2 probably by Christmas or next March, full of the first updates and readily available with the Deluxe and Deluxe boosted pack. My worry is that there is going to be a serious tax on the Switch 2 consoles cartridges…

Yup, I was hit by this, had to solder all points directly to the modchip. It was a pain but good practice at the same time. Got the from aliexpress back around October and did not notice until a month ago when I modded a switch LITE for the first time.
