    3d printing can solve this issue, the charging part might not happen but atleast having em plug up would be cool.
    That said I’m not sure if switch supported third party Bluetooth controller so they’ll likely treat old joycons as third party and not support them

      3d Printing Would easily solve this issue.
      I do think Nintendo could be smart with this though. Passing along charging and data lines would be awesome.
      Also thinking logically, the old Joycons might be easier for kids too.
      Old Joycons will be fully supported by bluetooth I think, it would be silly not to.

      you're missing the part that the Switch 2 is a bigger console so even if the S1 joycons fit mechanically the ergonomics wont work and it'll be uncomfortable and unbalanced to hold.
      The engineers at Nintendo aren't daft, they've been the masters of ergonomics for decades for a reason.

      @@liamfowell8661 This is a valid point. I guess if you created a shell for the joycons to pop into though. That would solve that issue as they would be the same size as the new ones.

    Nintendo consoles have never been expensive so I don’t know how people come up with stuff like 450$ 500$ or anything similar. That’s not at all like Nintendo

    • @Thundercloud369
      @Thundercloud369 17 дней назад

      I think it will be around 400 without games and 450 with a game.

      @blueboytube Nintendo Home consoles are always relative to the current gen of consoles. The Switch Released at £300/$300 back in 2017.
      The Switch OLED now is $349. Nintendo Also very rarely drop prices, and their IP games stay expensive.
      You only have to look at comparative PC Handhelds and the supposed Spec to see roughly the cost. Nintendo never sell their consoles at a lose. Like Sony and Microsoft do.

      $ or £?
      I originally had it in my head at £400/$400 and even then I thought that was expensive. But when the Switch OLED still sells for $350/£320, I wont be surprised at £450/$450

    Nintendo aren't going to have an adaptor for switch1 & 2 joycons because it means people won't need to buy the new joycons and thats money out of their pocket.
    You're right, there may be some third party companies that might try. but nintendo have deliberately designed it differently for this reason.

      Honestly, they might. they did release that charger for them recently. And if they can sell the adapter at a premium why not.
      Let's not forget they make Snes, Mega Drive, Nes and N64 controllers for the switch. The NES ones clip into the rales of the Switch.
      Maybe Nintendo would be cheeky enough to release Switch IR Joycons for the Switch 2?
      I guess it all depends on which version of the Switch they keep selling when the Switch 2 goes live. If they only keep the Lite going then, yeah they will slowly stop selling the old joycons all together. And then we have the other problem of them getting expensive, seeing as they are prone to breaking.

    $450 for a non OLED switch that is almost as powerful as a PS4? You can literally buy a PS5 for less 🤣 Nintendo is drunk if they are pricing it at $450. Keep in mind games are going to be $70 most likely and their online/cloud saves are trash.

      Im from the uk so it may differ but £450 is insane agreed. the only way they could justify that is with an oled screen, hall effect joysticks and phenomenal battery life, since they aren't coming close to ps5 power

      @Mr-jj3gp The price point is crazy. They only saving grace for it is the backwards compatibility. So at least you have some games for it. This is personally why I think Windows/Steam OS handhelds will slowly eat away at Nintendo's market. You're steam library is more more fluid on new hardware.

      @needlemouse39 Looking at how the US price relates to the UK, Normally it's a 1:1 as we Put VAT on our price. Where as the US add Tax at the point of sale.
      So We're more than likely looking £420-450.

      Paying extra for portability, although yeah its a bit much 400 for ps4 pro level specs would be a decent deal. I'll probably get one early and just keep it in the box until it's hacked because I'm sick of their pricing lol. I only got 3 first party games on the switch because of their ridiculous pricing. Well, 3 games before the mig switch came out 😂

      @ Haha, this made me laugh. I do wonder how quickly it will be hacked. I assume Mig switch will work Day 1. So I do question how easy it will be for that team to make a new one.
      I found buying games from japan helped, using the Japanese version of 2 for 84. I was getting first party games for 25 each
