As a ball main, Im not entirely sure about bastion being a counter. Bastion has poor mobility and can easily be flanked and disrupted by ball, granting a quick kill from behind due to bastions crit hitbox or at the very least cancelling out his turret form. On the sombra note, absolutely sombra kinda just ruins the hamsters day.

Do you know if you can reflect another Rein's firestrike as Rein? I think I saw a message pop op on my screen when I launched the game that mentioned a new ability like that. Maybe I'm trippin haha.

NO way is bastion a soft counter pick to Orisa. HE is an EASY kill with Orisa anytime. Symetra is a hard counter

Saying that you should not shoot at zarya bubble is the single worst advice you can give in zarya matchup

Bastion doesn't counter Doom. As Doom mobility rate is high which is almost non existent for Bastion. He can block and get his punch quick if played right.

As a reinhardt player, i think that bastion isn't that much of a counter, his low mobility makes him a easy target to reinhardt skills, so everytime a bastion tries to kill me, i just charge at him and kill him easily I think that reaper and sombra are much more effective against rein, cause of their ways to quickly dodge him (but well, those can be counter to basically everything in this game because of how busted they are)

I found out that against platinum players torb can do a lot to a mauga. Overload with secondary fire can do a ton of damage & molten core in his cage fight ultimate makes mauga the one that's actually trapped. Also i feel like it's really easy to get headshots on him. The only downside is that your turret becomes useless so you'll have to put it in really specific spots that are hard to shoot at that has environmental cover. Sojurn is also pretty good against ball since it's so easy to charge her weapon with such a big target & you just slide away from most of his damage (depending on the map)

Echo’s beam can actually be really good against Dva due to it doing more dmg when she’s under half heath and it being a beam, so I’m a little confused why Echo got the red outline.

as a pharah main, she kinda deletes mauga. hes so large u can sit super far away and land consistent directs + barrage deletes both him and cage fight

The short answer for bastion and mei, are their most basic functions: bastion output dmg, and mei slow and ice wall utility. The nuance comes in with how bastion has to deal with the rest of the team. Yes he melts tanks, but then what if a genji comes in to deflect everything? What if he gets outranged by snipers? Theres positioning and advantageous dps matchups that can prevent him from snowballing. As for mei, while on paper, it sounds like she counters most of the tanks, shes also a very niche pick. Her dmg output is much lower, and most people arent that clutch with her wall positioning. She can kind of do a little bit of everything with some ranged poke, brawling, stall. But her skill ceiling is so high, actually using her consistently against other dps is the main challenge. Yes, she can separate people from their allies, but she can get ganged up on so easily if shes not careful

As a tank main mei is probably the least fun dps to play against. It feels so bad getting walled off.

I would add torb as a counter to rein. It's super easy to spam his shield out even without your turret, if he charges it'll likely be into range of your turret, and torb can tank a charge if he's in overdrive or whatever.

I'd say Bastion's ability to counter Ball depends heavily on the map, since turret mode means he's easy to get booped off of cliffs or even just high ground

DVA Main love Dive, but started playing Brawl sometimes (mostly Rein), trying Sigma next in case teammates in solo queue insist on poking 😂

I am a gold - plat edging dva main and always curious about rein. I never got value out of him and just get scared. Playing on corners was an incredible tip and I have had a few incredible rounds on rein already! It seems so simple but if you’re used to being able to just fly around the map you don’t really think about just staying at the corner:)

Sheild botting to me is allowing free passage from corner to corner with a massive open feild I tell my team to group up for from one corner to the next holdable corner with sheild I do walk and not jump but I use my sheild as a life saver for my team I’d die before I allow my team to die if I can help it
