Wearing it for hours does it cause your ears to sweat?

I purchased the N1 V1 with 2 lenses on sale in 2013 for $289. I have been a Z50 and Z7 shooter in recent years, though I picked up a second V1 in 2023 for ~$110. I've recently returned to enjoying my original V1 with the excellent 6.7-13 (18-35, 35mm equivalent) for family photos. I also picked up the flash for $100. It compares favorably to my iPhone 15 Pro for Instagram sharing. I like the simplicity of the V1, though it's slow to recover. As all these cameras can use the same battery, I've added extra Nikon and Small Rig ones.

lousy headset! I used to use Jabra evolve 40, but it broke and my company got me this piece of turd. Audio is OK, but the microphone is awful. Once I started using it instead of the old Evolve 40, people started complaining about how muffled I sound. It's as if I was calling from an old dial up phone. I tried Audacity where I could explicitly set the sample rate for the recording and the sound was still really bad. You pay for the brand, not for quality.

Nice video! I came to the same conclusion and have ordered a Z8 too.

This looks perfect for my pop, I love the fact that you can get to apps in a number of ways that’s genius. I have to ask though, is it safe for use with a pacemaker? My dad was given a phone recently that came with a warning not to use it near his pacemaker which meant he had to hold the phone six inches from his ear! As he also needs to use a hearing aid this was a trifle inconvenient! 🤪 Many thanks for this review, very well presented with no flashy sales pitch.

I bought it and I was disappointed. It's not worth the money! The settings are too complicated, the screen is too small and of poor quality.

I had a J2 for a while but the main problem was the 10-30 kit lens was subject to many failures. At one time Nikon (at least in Europe) were fixing them for free, mine failed sent back and failed again within a few months. There are loads of these for sale on eBay listed with faulty lens. Also no EVF was a problem for me.

I have the SB 800 N 900 both work beautiful...no problems....to avoid over heating i turn off the 900 after use....

The only annoying thing was the limited rotation to the clockwise missing that over your right rear bounce or rear 45° bounce in traditional betting grip position. But we worked around it as it is still a brilliant flash all these years It does support Nikon standard TTL film all the way back into the 1980s It’s has a very wide stop of A automatic thyristor (on flash sensor) for any standard hot shoe or PC sync. Close sensitive as 1m at f2.8 & ISO 200 w/ adapter enabled.

we can snag a used 16-35 for $350 at this point, it meets most people's needs just fine. the Z 14-30 is like four times the price, that's a lot. Dxo mark rated the 14-30 lower than the 16-35, granted different bodies, but still gives one pause.

I bought this pair but the microphone is so sensitive that it takes EVERYTHING is making any noise in the room, for example, TV at lowest volume that even the person who is wearing the headphones is capable of listening to it, but the micro gets the TV sound (Teams call). How could I filtee this properly? Do they have some software? Is this normal? Thanks, great video!

Does this power bank support passthrough charging i.e. it is charging itself from a wall outlet while it provides power to devices ? I am evaluating whether I should get this power bank over some more expensive Anker devices which have this feature. Thanks for the review !

I just bought the sb900 accidently off eBay. I thought I was buying the sb800. But it looks brand new in box with all standard accessories, for $100 including shipping. I mean like maybe used once. Just a hobbyist and actually my first flash. Just started seeing stories on the overheating issue so trying to see what it is all about. So if it overheats when it returns to normal temp you can use it again correct?

this may be a stupid comment/question but as you stated the DS version has a neutral density coating to create the image of a DS lens. Couldn't you just add a ND or VND filter to the original 85mm f1.2 to recreate or mimic the same image as the DS?

Does the Ugreen work well with a case?

As an owner of plastic film toycameras I am maybe not one to judge here. A lot of film photographers shun those aswell. I think Camp Snap just took the business model and uses it on digital. Unfortunately the insides of the camera are nothing special. And I don't mean "special" in good. It's nothing like old digicams. It has a cheap phone lens you can buy off of AliExpress for a few Dollars. No CCD. They know how to do business. But even at 20$ this camera would be almost overpriced. It's acutal price tag really is shocking. But we are in a free market and they seem to find buyers ;)

Good camera to get people into using a viewfinder, seeing a shot properly and not relying on a low res screen!

I went from F65 to D70 to D300 to Z6ii to Z8 when it released. While there are some things that annoy me with the Z8 (lack of user settings and command dial, relatively short battery life) I'm still happy that I jumped to the Z8 instead of waiting for a Z6iii. I hope you enjoy your new Z8. 🙂👍
